The place says it serves "indian-inspired food, so why are you all rating it bad because its not "authentic indian" food? Wouldnt that only makes sense if it claimed to serve authentic indian food? Goodness sakes... I also see people rating them bad because it "could" taste better - well thats because youre used to indian food consisting of gobs of cream and oil and sugar. This food is actually good for you so yes, it doesnt taste like your usual sweet rich creamy curry. And thats a good thing (IMO). Im rating this place 5 stars because it has an awesome healthy:tasty ratio, fits the bill of "indian inspired", you can customize and its a decent price. I mean youre getting rice, lentils, meat, veggies, guacamole, hummus, and sauce...that is an awesome combination.

Think of it to Indian food as chipotle is to Mexican food. Its quick, good, and cheap, but doesnt have the depth of flavor. Still, a very nice place to grab a quick bite or to go. The wraps are pretty good. The naan isnt the same level as a good restaurant, its more a pita, but a good one. The lamb vindaloo wrap was quite tasty and though it is huge, I enjoyed it enough to scarf down the whole thing when only a little hungry. The staff is still working out some kinks since the opening. One night the bar tender was super friendly and did table service for us and gave good beer recommendations. On the next night, I waited for 20 minutes while they twice forgot to make my order. The bar is nice with some good beer selections, though a bit heavy on the IPA.

I want to like this place, but their food is simple bland. I was excited because i am a huge fan of chipotle and indian food and i felt this place was trying to combine both. I tried the lamb bowl but there want much flavor in the lamb, i felt it was a mix of confusing spices. Nothing impressed me honestly, i would like to taste more flavor in the food, the kind of flavor i get from a good indian restaurant. I would try it again because i like the concept of the place. Lets se what next time tastes like. Pending update...

I eat here about once a week, so Ive tried a lot of the menu. They have updated it to be a bit easier to choose whatever delicious option you desire. The chicken has also changed and is superior to what they used to offer. I have spoken to several people who went once six months ago and didnt go back, but I have encouraged them to go again because it was good in my opinion then but is now consistently excellent every time. Great options for happy hour, too!

Indian food is all about its spices. If you mess up spice combination, you cannot call the food Indian. Naanz doesnt just mess that up, it completely takes them out. This food can neither be called Indian nor American. Actually, not even Americanized Indian. Visited them for the first and last time, and glad I would never commit that mistake again.

I have seen them drop food on the floor pick it up and try to serve it. After a few months I tried going back and had to intervene when the bartender/manager continued to serve a drunk patron who making racist comments. He did nothing but continue serving this poor excuse for a man. Their food is definitely not worth the issues that place has

Fast, large portions, low cost. I had the saag paneer, which I felt lacked flavor. There was a salsa ontop that was really good and packed with flavor but the rest of the dish didnt live up to that. Great place if youre in a hurry.

Used to be really good, but they changed the chicken they use to this awful shredded stuff. Its just vile. Its sad because their sauces are great and I used to go all the time, but I just cant eat that chicken.

Friendly staff, food is consistent and pretty basic. Overall, a decent place to grab a bit in an area that doesnt have many options. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here, but I work close by.

If you are looking for Indian food then its not a place for you. Beware if you are taking out as hot naan wrap is tend to generate steam in packet thus dissolving the naan.

Indian style food but not traditional. Very American style fast food starting from an Indian point of view. portions can vary greatly depending on who serves you.

Stopped in for a quick meal after work. My food was a soupy mess. The sauce was mediocre at best and there was barely any meat in my nominally lamb entree.

Sign on door and out front on a signboard said they close at 10. Tried to get in at 9:31 and despite staff being inside theyd already closed for night.

Nice place for a quick meal. Good contemporary interpretation of Indian food. Love that they have the option of getting your curries on a salad bed!

Very great options for indian foods. First time I was seeing this style of restaurants where I can make my own bowl. Nice idea!

Not actually a real Indian restaurant. More like fast food with Indian-style meals. The food is ok, but could be better.
