The Best full Indian cuisine of northern and southern. May not communicate too well if you dont speak Punjab or another of the. 36 Indian. But itbdoesnt matter. They understand and are SO attentive. All work as ateam of males and the food GREAT for commoners. Full flavour not too hot so many items always has soup Chai hot tea and mango soft seve and several other desserts. Most Indian buffets are so limited not here, these men work hard and the Tandoor Chicken bbq(our thought) even kids can eat and if course, the butter chicken. Dont be afraid to try something new! This IS the way to do it!! Well worth the money. For a Friday Sat or Sun (buffet) or weekday lunch only. It is an experience. Besides watering while you attend to the buffet, they bring FRESH tandoor baked bread (usually plain or garlic if you request) when you arrive back with your first plate. I need to Yelp this and Travel owl too. Its just My Favorites Indian buffets! !! They do just an out standing job. And if you like fish, dont pass on the Fish Pakora. Outstanding. .

Favorite Indian restaurant was my go-to buffet (good value for $12), until I discovered Frontier Spice in Pleasanton. If you are introducing friends to Indian food, this restaurant is good for their fish pakora, butter chicken, garlic naan, rice pudding, and mango ice cream. If youve eaten a lot of Indian food and are willing to forego variety for higher quality, check out Frontier Spice for $13. At Favorite Indian, its a good idea to go a bit after noon for their buffet, to give the dishes a chance to warm up a bit. 8/15/17 Update: The fish pakora is always too salty. The butter chicken still had some bones in it. To get decently hot food, stir from the bottom of the trays. Garlic naan was reheated. It is not a good sign when the mango ice cream and the rice pudding are the highlights! For $12, both Curry Cravings and India Garden in Pleasanton are better. Downgrading to 3 stars.

I have to say, Favorite Indian Restaurant is wonderful find. I have lived in san Ramón for years and just havent been able to find good Indian food in all of that time. Coming from the UK, I am used to great Indian food being a staple of my diet and so I am thrilled to find Favorite Indian Restaurant, on my doorstep. We ordered online and our food arrived well ahead of the delivery estimate. The delivery man was really friendly and courteous, and the food was, well, pretty amazing. Full of flavor, well seasoned, just the right amount of heat, huge pieces of meat that were tender and juicy, and the portions were plentiful we had leftovers for the next day. The prices are all very reasonable, and the papads are great. I would definitely recommend Favorite Indian Restaurant, and hope the standards remain high because I want this to become a regular go-to place.

I had an AMAZING Experience dinner here. Brought my entire family and had the best experience. I was feeling lucky to see that they werent crowded too much at all, but I was glad that we got a TON of attention. Yes, I know this is best Indian than authentic but regardless everything was delicious. Tandoori chicken was surprisingly tender, lamb was cooked well, all curries seasoned just right. I could go on and on eating here. The staff was super attentive, funny, polite, and we had a great time conversing with them. Service was fast, food came out piping hot. Super plus, our waiter made our drinks good and STRONG! If it werent so pricey, Id probably eat here all the time.

My review is about dinner buffet. If you are vegetrian my advice is that please do not waste money. None of the item was good except sweet dishes(one star only for that). It is my first time giving one star to any restaurant. Indian food has to have a aroma and taste of spices(not hot). Even kadhi was really bad, saag, daal and cabbage was just boiled for namesake. Zucchuni was also boiled with some spices. I do not know about non veg so i cant comment on that.

I dont know whether there are better Indian buffet, but this is the one that I like the most so far. I remember when I was at here, they have a good atmosphere, good service and appropriate drink and desert options. So many guest there maybe a proof that this is a good place to go. For foods they offered the average kinds of Indian rices, sauces, chickens, but they were really good cooked and tasty. I felt so good when I had the dinner there.

If you want to try a little bit of everything... this is the place to go! I generally hate buffets, because the quality goes down due to the amount they have to produce. This place definitely gave me a reason to try buffets again. This place has both variety and quality! I would recommend going there before noon, otherwise you will be waiting for 2 lines; line for a table and a line for the food.

Barely OK. Had the weekend buffet. Enough buffet choices, but the somewhat bland food did not appeal to my tastes. To be fair to them, I do realize many patrons (Indian or not) cant handle authentic tastes, and they provide hot sauces on the side, but its sad when the dishes lose all character and instead are focused on quantity. I will skip this place in future.

The service at the buffet is bad. They take a very long time to bring naan, sometimes you have to ask more than once, and then they ignore you. They told us to leave at 2:00pm sharp because they were closing the buffet. Okay, but was it necessary to tell me to leave before I finished the food on my plate? The one in Hayward is much better.

Found this place from passing by the boulevard. They offered buffet for lunch which was perfect for we were famished. They have a wide selection of Indian cuisine and they were delicious. The price per person was average and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back here again if ever we are in the area.

Flat rate $10 lunch buffet, all you can eat, lots of vegetarian dishes, all your expected dishes like sag paneer, tikka masala, samosas, etc., also several salads and different hot dishes. Chai was very enjoyable, and the mango soft serve is so refreshing. Gets busy by 12:30. Well be back lots.

Worst biryani ever...I ordered the shrimp biryani to go and I havent had a more terrible biryani anywhere else. It was bland colored rice with peas and some cooked shrimps added to it. There was no flavor that you usually get in a biryani...never have a biryani here.
