TERRIBLE service, great*** food I ordered the butter chicken Butter naan Garlic naan All of which was delicious. My only critique about the food is that I wish the bread was more toasted. I like a little crunch But I understand with delivery, that extra time can mess with textures. DO NOT order the mango lemonade. I dont know what I got but it tasted nothing like mango or lemonade; nor was it even edible. Now, the service... I originally called to place an order just for myself, but after hearing the minimum amount was 20 dollars; I couldnt justify the exuberant spending on myself. The woman who took my order was very rude upon hearing this. She was snippy before, but after she was worse. I apologized for wasting her time and told her to have a nice day: to which she responded "yea." Shortly after, one of my friends decided they wanted Indian as well so I decided to give them another shot. again, I got the snippy lady. I was polite and patient; even though her attitude had not improved. When the delivery driver showed up, he presented me with my food and credit card slips. I signed the slips, adding a generous tip. After the driver collected the papers he says: "you tip me? Are you going to tip me? Wheres my tip." By this point I wanted to take back my 30% tip and write in a whopping zero. Im a firm believer in tipping; but to ask, no DEMAND, is completely unacceptable. Especially when theres a 15 dollar minimum wage. Overall; disappointed in the customer service, pleasantly surprised by the food. (Except that "lemonade.")

Horrible customer service, excessive wait time for food, and they snuck cheaper meat into my dish then wouldnt refund (ordered lamb, got chicken). We ordered delivery which was quoted at 45 minutes, yet 1.5 hours later we still had not received our food (were less than 2 miles away!). When it finally arrived, my dish was inedible. Not only had I ordered lamb and received chicken, they didnt even let us know about the change! When we called they explained they ran out of lamb. They didnt offer a refund of the price difference, clearly didnt care, and didnt want to speak to my husband. I called back because, not only is this douche bag style, but people could genuinely get hurt by this maneuver. If theyd done this for someone with an allergy, who knows what could have happened. Its DANGEROUS. I tried to explain this to the guy and he wouldnt even let me speak. "Yes, mam. I know, I know, I know." before Id even said anything. I had to get sharp with him to get him to shut his mouth long enough to hear my concerns. We will never be going back here and I will be sure to share this with friends and families in the area. The food is subpar and expensive. But, if you like customer abuse, go for it.

So I am not someone who usually takes the time to write feedback but thought it was fair considering it had so many awful reviews. My beau and I stumbled upon this place looking for houses in the area. At first glance it seemed a little odd but we were feeling adventurous, and hungry of course. We arrived around 5:30 and the place was empty...quite disconcerting and awkward, (enhanced by silence that could have been remedied by some background music) but we decided to give it a try. The server I assumed was the owner, an older gentleman who was super nice but kinda slow bringing our drinks. We started with an appetizer - the fish and chips - and I just have to say after the first bite my all my apprehension disappeared...it was absolutely amazing! For the main dish I ordered the mango chicken with rice and bread and to my delight every bite was phenomenal. Even after being full I couldnt resist eating more. I honestly cannot recall a time I had better food. If you like Indian food this place is worth a try. We will definitely be eating here again.

I agree with each of the negative comments. The waiter was aloof and slow. I ordered about twenty dollars worth of food and appetizers for myself and was still hungry when I left. A full lunch should cost no more than $12 and I would expect to be full. I ordered the veggie grille and it came on a plate smaller than my hand At other Indian restaurants, Ive received complimentary rice or naan, but upon asking the waiter, got a bit of hesitation and argument before he brought it. Then he billed me for the more expensive Tandoori appetizers, not the tiny sampler platter I ordered. The atmosphere is not friendly. The decor is fine but the people seem bored and unmotivated. I have ordered food from there before and it took them an hour to deliver it three blocks. And again, it was a meager and unsatisfying $12 snack. The second star is for the delicious-tasting food. I want them to succeed as there are few good Indian restaurants in Seattle, but I expect them to fail based on greed and stingyness. I highly recommend Chutney Bistro in Wallingford.

This was the most horrible experience ever. The service was horrible. They were incredibly rude. I didnt want the food that had been sitting out allll day on the buffet (it looked really bad) so ordered off the menu. The man helping me said FYI. Thats on the buffet fantastic. We had prurchased a instant groupon to use for lunch. We were accused of trying to get our food for free by using it. We came in at 210 (the groupon said we had until 230 to use it) and were immediately bombarded with we close in 10 min. We close in 10 min. Hurried and treated very poorly. There was two of us. He would only give us one menu. I had to go to the hostess stand and get one for myself. But the kicker was. After we got our food. And went to eat in the car. Cause he wouldnt let us stay in the restaurant. My friend bit into her chicken tandoori. It was raw. Not just kinda pink inside. It was raw like still in that gel looking see through state that chicken is when its uncooked. Horrible.

This is easily one of the worst restaurantsin seattle. I have eaten here about ten times, two of which were good. I gave them an honest try and really wanted it to work out because I live in walking distance. Quick list of grievensse. Ordered 2 of the same item (that I have had before) and they gave me only 1 and insisted it was two. I showed up one time to pick up my order and they were only accepting exact change! The first time I had a problem the older woman in the front pretend to not speak English well The last time I went there the price of my item was 3 dollars higher than the menu price, it was terrible, and hardly enough food for one person. It goes on... I knew this place was struggling, I have never ONCE seen other costumers there. As many times as I have been there the price has gone up, the food has gotten worse and smaller, and never was I treated like someone who purchases often and tips well. Completely bad in every department.
