The place is cool, the people are really nice, and they have a large selection of drinks, but the burger was pretty disappointing. I ordered the Giddy Up burger with an extra patty (1/3 lb. each). $10 + $2.50 for the extra patty + tax brought the total to almost $14. The toppings were decent, but the bun was pretty sub-bar and compressed to be paper-thin almost immediately, the bottom of the burger was cold from the tray when it was served, but the biggest let-down was the meat - it was cooked well-done (wasnt given a choice), was stiff and rubbery, and didnt have much of any flavor. It even had some gristle in it. It was obvious that it was very low-quality meat. Considering this, it was pretty terrible value. For example, you can go over to 8oz. Burger & Co and get a delicious artisan 1/2 lb. burger for $12 + tax that I would describe as world-class, or go over to Lil Woodys and get a great 1/3 pound burger (same size as here) for $8 + tax. Again, cool place, great people, lots of potential, but the food is the whole reason you go there in the first place, and it needs some serious improvement.

Expensive, but very yummy. Burgers and fries are a la carte, so youll pay more than you would at a place that serves them as a plate, but theyre pretty good. The atmosphere is casual like a sports bar. Non-alcoholic beverages are self-serve and they have a great selection. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy when I was there, so I dont hold that against them. Most of the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. If you like beer, dont leave without their growler. Its a great price and a cute jug. Good place to take kids and they have a large dining area that you might be able to reserve for large parties. (I didnt have a need, so I didnt check into it.)

Amazing burgers and beer selection. So far Ive had the Mushroom Gruyere and Pablano Pepper burgers and both are excellent. I love the beer selection which boasts many of my favorite local breweries as well as a few from out of state. The fries and fry sauce are also wonderful. Try the chipotle mayo or the lemongrass tarter.

Great burgers, ground in house. Hand cut fries, haystack onion straws/rings. Lots of local beers. Best burgers weve had in a long time, in a super friendly, laid back atmosphere. Wish we would have found this place long ago. Also salad bar, chicken, veggie burger. But seriously, really, really great burgers.

Any place that has amazing burgers - hormone and antibiotic free! - plus wine and beer is a 5 star place for me. Its a beautifully designed place with some amazing food. I also loved the wooden planks and indoor/outdoor patio area. Ill definitely be coming back the next time I want a good burger.

Im not exaggerating, Giddy Up has literally the best salad bar Ive ever tasted in Seattle. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are delicious too. Plus it helps most of the people are super chill and sometimes they give me free cookies (I love cookies). Good beer selection too.

The salad bar is excellent, and the fish sandwich is pretty great too. Sometimes things are a little on the overly-greasy side. You can also sub the red meat for chicken on any burger, but they run out super early. Like 6PM early. Thats happened three times for me.

Ive tried (and am a fan of) almost everything on the menu, and the vibe inside is great. Perfect venue for dinner, to watch sports on TV, or to just grab a beer. The staff are friendly, and the prices are in line with most of what youll find in Frelard.

Giddy Up is a nice family burger place. The menu is loaded with choices. The salad bar had a lot of different items along with the typical ones. For example quinoa, cooked Brussels sprouts, uncooked beets to name a few. Service was fast and friendly.

Delicious smell as soon as we came in. Busy for a Sunday. Wonderful beer selection! Wide, open seating with slightly-cowboy feel. Didnt know the fries needed to be ordered separately... will definitely come back! The Giddy Up burger was excellent!

Amazing burgers. Great atmosphere and interesting building. Great beer selection and they have a large number of extra sauces to modify your burger with. A bit pricy, you definitely get what you pay for. Large seating areas.

Best burgers Ive found close to home. Maybe a bit pricey ($10 for the burger alone), but cant fault them for it since it is so good. I would like to try more of their burgers but I always end up getting the Poblano Chili Burger.

Burgers were awesome. Super juicy, flavorful Burger but not too salty. Probably one of the best Ive had in a long time! Really close to all the Ballard breweries, so a great place to swing by for a bite while brewery hopping.

Pretty good burgers, interesting sides and appetizers, in a much larger space than it looks from the outside. Great draft beer selection also! Order at the counter and take a number type of set up. Quick and great!

This is the best place for burgers! The owner brought us beers while we were waiting in line to order food. Food came in a reasonable time and it was incredible! Best customer service was the best Ive ever had.

For some reason I wasnt expecting much but I was absolutely wrong. The giddy up burger was great and pretty damn spicy/hot - perfect. Add in a good beer selection and great fries and you have great place!

Excellent beer selection with rotating taps. The burgers are very good as well, among the top 10 burger places in Seattle. Salads, sweet potato fries, and other sides too. Good for big groups and families.

First time I went I thought it was good, but after more visits I think its overpriced for what you get. Burgers are good, but nothing fantastic. Good place to go with a bunch of friends though

Amazing place for burgers located near Fremont and Ballard. They have both indoor and covered outdoor seating and are more than happy to accommodate pets on the covered outdoor patio area.

Great food and staff. My 9 month old son was screaming like King Kong and swatted over a beer like a fighter plane,. They kindly replaced it. Highly recommend this place

Not cheap, and the burgers arent huge, but the quality is exceptional. Good grassy regular fries, and the best thin cut sweet potato fries Ive had.
