Far Eats was a wonderful, comfortable place to eat for dinner. The dish that I had, a traditional dish of vegetables in a creamy coconut sauce, was very comforting and delicious. We also had an appetizer of vegetable samosas, which came with two wonderful sauces, and sides of the pesto naan and regular naan, both of which were delicious. Besides the food, the atmosphere was very nice. The attention to detail in the decor was very impressive and reflected a very professional design touch. I loved the details on the tables and in the large room divider. Our dishes came served to us in cute rustic bowls, which we spooned onto a plate with rice. If I were to bring a lot of people to dinner, I would order a few dishes and share among everyone so everyone could taste all the different flavors. My dish was very flavorful, and I got to pick my level of spice. The service was great. The owner was our server and he was very attentive, filling up our water glasses whenever they got low, and serving our food promptly. I would definitely go back to Far Eats for more fine Indian dining.

Way overpriced and below average good. Went here on the night of July 4th at 9.10 (normal closing time is 10, but there was no sign outside mentioning early closing when I checked earlier in the day). Host said service is closing soon, but would take orders for carry out. Ordered vegetable methi curry at spice level 4/6 and it just tastes like boiled frozen vegetables in spicy chili water. The 18$ paneer tikka comes with just 6 small pieces of paneer, which were cold! Food is terrible and its pretty obvious that no one put an effort into making it. I understand its the night of a national holiday, but I wouldve appreciated it if the host said they were closed instead of just taking my money in exchange for sub par food.

Overpriced, overhyped, tasteless,... one of the worst Indian restaurants I have been to in recent times. To elaborate, the naans were undercooked, the portion of kerala fish fry was a joke for the price and tasted like an amateurs version of fish fries.., the saag paneer was average and the so called famous malai koftas (or whatever they were called) were at least 2 days old. Even if I tried, I couldnt make such bad food. It happened to be a busy Monday as per the server and the staff was overwhelmed according to him. (Some 3 odd tables and 3-4 persons at the take out!!) I am surprised that the place is getting any business!!!

Came here on the last day of my trip to Seattle. The owner came up to us and took our order and asked if we had any questions. Ive had plenty of Indian food and knew what I wanted and the owner asked how spicy on a scale of 1 - 6, and I love spicy food so I said 6. I was not disappointed it was spicy and tasted fantastic. I havent had much Indian food in Seattle but this was by far one of the best Indian places Ive been to. I would definitely recommend Far Eats.

Came here for lunch, they have a ~$10 lunch buffet which is really reasonably priced (as it should be for the buffet, but most indian spots like to charge minimum $15). Indian is my favorite food type, so I am really picky. I unfortunately was not impressed by the buffet at all. My co workers didnt look much better (he ordered off the menu). I am willing to try Far Eats again but it wasnt worth it based on my first experience. Will update if I go again!

The food is fine, but its pricey. I went in for lunch and needed it to go, I had to ask for utencils, the containers were only big enough for the item I got so when I wanted to pour the masala sauce on the rice I had no room. If I was taking it home it would have been fine, but Im a delivery guy in uniform so maybe think about your customers a bit more rather than just taking 20.00 for a lunch I could get at another place for 12.00.

Such a cute name.... Far Eats. The restaurant is immaculate. And what a luxuriant menu. I went vegetarian on my dinner takeout with Cream of Lentil and Eggplant Bombay. Completely delicious. However, all the options seem appetizing. I should go back to try the Lunch Special, which includes a Thalia, to sample other menu items. Friendly atmosphere. Wonderful service.

Authentic experience! Since spending time in India I have been searching for a cashew curry like I experienced, the cashew cream base used in many dishes at Far Eats is as delicious as I remember it in Leh! The rest of the food and drinks were rich and delicious. The service was fantastic! I would consider visiting Seattle again only to eat at this restaurant.

Positive: friendly staff and kingfisher beer. Negative: unreasonably pricey for a curry; and rice was inedible. How can you get plain white rice wrong? The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were subpar unfortunately. Was really hoping for the food to be good as the staff were friendly, but will be unlikely that I visit again as value is just not there.

Went there for lunch buffet. All entree with gravy were watery. Only snacks were okay. My wife noticed a tiny piece of glass in food/dish. Staff was friendly and apologized also gave us a complimentary dessert. Owner came by and apologized as well. Mango cheesecake was delicious. Interior is neat and clean. Food quality could have been better.

Ive been in four or five times for their lunch buffet because I work nearby. The food is consistently bland and unappetizing. Limited selection of dishes, no chutneys (really?), and they charge over $12. I want to like this place because it is so convenient but its clear that the chefs are just phoning it in.

Worst Indian restaurant ever! Bad taste, poor professionalism. Have repeatedly had bad experience with respect to quality and taste of food, especially the Paneer curries are very salty. Frugal and overpriced for the quantity. The nearby Daawat is as expensive but offers a lot better quality and quantity.

Delicious modern flavors accent traditional dishes at Far Eats. The food was great with good portions. The service was friendly. Prices were competitive with other Belltown spots. If you want some Indian food while youre out bar hopping in down town Seattle give this place a try.

Been here 3 times before reviewing. Really nice service, but the food is very bland and its way too pricey. I got the spiciest option on my chicken tikka masala and it tasted like nothing. They say they make food for western palates, but I guess to them that means flavorless.

Inconsistencies with spice. Ordered the same dish twice in the same week asking for a 3 of 6 heat value. 1st time adequate, second time, had to drink a gulp of water with every bite. 3 glasses total. Meandering apologies and no rectification upon thorough explanation.

The service was good and the server was courteous but the food was terrible. I ordered the Chicken Tikedar which had no flavor at all! I also had a ginger/gin based cocktail which was too heavy on the ginger flavor! Disappointed!

Awesome food. Ordered my dish at heat level 4, and it was great. Enough heat to make me feel it, but not unpleasant. Both mine and my wifes dishes were well prepared and quite delicious. I would absolutely eat here again.
