The service was friendly and prompt but when we ordered a side of guacamole after the first batch of chips the waitress told us shed get us more chips but failed to tell us that they charge for that- I mean come on, they are chips- which should come with guacamole anyway. Then our meal was basically Taco Truck tacos, with one or two pieces of tomato and onion (wow can you spare that? Really??) and about a quarter teaspoon of sour cream for $15, which the menu said came with beans and they didnt serve them. When I asked for them she said oh theyre on request it says on the menu- (must have been in extremely small print). I feel that this place cuts corners at the customers expense and if they truly do ever get busy like the waitress says they must make a killing- but I doubt they have many return customers, unless they have money to burn $45 including tip for 4 mediocre tacos, some chips and guacamole, a beer and some watered down sangria. Oh yeah, did I mention that we really felt those tacos the next day- if you know what I mean?

This is a great place to feel like you could be dining somewhere in Mexico. Its a small tight place. I hear the Chili Rellenos are the thing to get. Friends swear by them, but they have always been out whenever I am there. Friendly service, just like the atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere in this quiet and cozy neighbor where 85th street ends. The food is just okay, nothing to write home about. Overall its a bit bland. I much prefer La Botana on Greenwood near 85th.

Authentic Mexican food nestled at the top of the hill near Golden Gardens Park. Consistent quality every time, the enchiladas are a personal favorite. Be sure to check the hours first.

We live a couple of blocks from this restaurant. They are NOT closed. We love their food and it is usually our first choice for special occasions.
