Read about this place online and Ill admit I just wanted to go for the name. Staff was super friendly and saw that I was sweating so offered me a glass of water. Ordered the egg, cheese and sausage sandwich, walked around a bit then drove to a park to eat it. Was still warm and was the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever eaten. Granted, I dont eat breakfast sandwiches more than once a month, but this was the best. The biscuit was super tasty, flaky but not falling apart so that I couldnt eat the sandwich. I took one back to NJ with some peanut butter to eat the next day and that was also really good. The inside is a little small, can seat 10 people maybe and during the busy hours I could see this place being packed easily. My sandwich was just over $5 and I feel was a good price for what you get. If back in Seattle, Ill be back here without a doubt!

Im not sure why "quick bite" and "fast service" are two of the three main descriptors of this place. My GF and I stopped in with a good hour to spare before we had to head to the airport, and after waiting 15 minutes to order our simple biscuits and gravy items it took a whopping 45 minutes for our name to be called. Because we were now rushed to get to the airport we had to wait to eat our food. I suppose it was pretty good for batting lukewarm, but just head-scratching as to why it took so long, and ultimately the main reason for a low rating. There were probably 20 or so people awkwardly waiting for their food on the sidewalk outside the restaurant because its so small and packed inside. They have a fairly small and straightforward food menu (biscuits, gravy, meat, cheese) so I cant understand why it takes so long.

This place has wonderful food, and great coffee and even nicer staff. The place supports the local arts and has always been on point creating a really unique and fun experience year after year. I wouldnt say you want to come during their busy time unless you like waiting and chatting up the locals or tourists. Especially if a tour ship just let out since some people find the name silly and fun, and will tend to take pictures and blog the entire experience with a selfie stick, Ive seen it. Its people watching gold, but may annoy the feint of heart. I love the bacon and cheese biscuits with egg, seriously good comfort zone. The grits were great as well. This place has a warm buttery spot in my heart, bless them and their biscuity goodness.

This place gets such good reviews that I had to check it out while in Seattle. Unfortunately I seem to be in the minority who didnt like them. First off their biscuits are the Bisquick type not the Pillsbury flaky kind that I like. I also didnt care for their gravy. I know they serve a choice of sausage or mushroom gravy. I wanted the sausage but that might not have been what I got. I didnt find any sausage in it. And I think I tasted some mushroom flavor. I saw someone with a pile of mushrooms on their plate. I dunno. Maybe they paid extra for those. Maybe you have to pay extra to get some sausage in your sausage gravy. In any event I didnt care for it. Your mileage may vary.

Being from the south Im fairly critical of biscuits and gravy. The food here is great, grits were on point. The coffee is fantastic but the wait is ungodly. On a Tuesday at 11 a.m., we waited over 1 hour on our food after placing the order. The place was busy but not running over busy. If it takes you over an hour to make biscuit and gravy you have to reevaluate your business plan. Something has to change or youll lose customers. We wont return simply for the fact of the wait. It pains me to say that, because the food is so good.

Good food, fun atmosphere, and super nice employees. There was quite a wait but it was worth it. Listened to music and mingled with other patrons while we waited. The espresso wasnt very good, but they gave me a free mocha so that was a bonus! The food could have been a tad hotter. But they were super busy so that could have explained it. It was still warm though. The homemade biscuits and gravy were killer. Very tasty. Would definitely return, though maybe to one of their other locations that have seating and a wider menu.

Really thought this would be better. Been making biscuits and gravy my whole life, one of my favorites, but this left me disappointed. Biscuits werent phenomenal amd the gravy quite literally tasted like spruced up canned gravy. Everything was hot, fresh, pretty quick, and definitely filled us up. (Both my brother and I felt the same way.) But, considering the other 5 star reviews this should have blown me away. I would much prefer Cracker Barrel biscuits and gravy anyday!

Sassy name aside, this place was okay. Since its downtown, parking is a nightmare, and it takes a while to get your order. The biscuits were good but they werent the best we had in Seattle, especially considering the wait and lack of seating -- try Dish or Serious Biscuits & Pie first. On a brighter note, Ive always enjoyed local restaurant/bar goods (stickers, t-shirts, mugs) as souvenirs, and they were offering a free sticker for Facebook check-ins, so there was that!

An amazing breakfast joint that draws an amazingly large crowd -- so keep in mind while youll get your food, you might not have a table to eat it at. I had the "easy b*tch" -- biscuit, gravy and two over easy eggs. The food was delicious -- the biscuit perfectly cooked, the gravy wonderful and the eggs were...well eggs, so thats always yummy, right? We ended up giving up trying to snag a table and walked to a nearby bench to enjoy our meal.

This place is pretty small, we walked pass without noticing it the first time. The breakfast biscuits are so puffy and delicious we have gone back couple of time. Be warned, the place is small you have to wait outside after you order and listen for your name when your food is ready, than you hope someone leave and you can get a table to eat. I agreed with one of the other poster, the Denver biscuit company (AKA Atomic Cowboy) is better.

Went here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. Their entire menu can be made gluten free too, which is nice. My hubby had the regular biscuit and gravy which he said was great. I had the gluten free biscuit and gluten free veggie gravy, which was also very good. Staff were friendly, food came out quick and it was very reasonably priced. There is definitely limited seating, and the place was busy, but we did find a spot to sit and eat.
