Dont be fooled by the name there is no BBQ sauce here. BBQ Chicken = Best of Best Quality Chicken, a Korean fried chicken shop. Most times Ive been here in the afternoon the place hasnt been particularly busy, so easy to get a table for largish groups. Service is a little lacking, and wait time for food is a little on the long side, but probably some of the best Korean Fried Chicken on Seattle side. Id get the bone-in wings instead of the boneless. GOOD * Original - Crunchy tasty fried chicken. Not particularly spiced up, so I generally prefer the sauced wings for more flavor. * Honey Garlic - Probably the best flavor. Sweet and garlicky. * Spicy - Solid if you can handle the heat. MEH * Popcorn Chicken - Has a slight tinge of spiciness. But not a lot of chicken for the price. Id just get the normal fried chicken.

The chicken I got was completely indistinguishable from KFC, but instead of feeding a family of four, thirty dollars got me five thigh-sized pieces of completely mediocre fried chicken and ten (admittedly pretty decent, but not for that price) wings. Add to that a nightclub atmosphere in a restaurant hot enough that I started sweating before I even placed my order, and a long enough wait for my food that after half an hour I finally approached the counter and made my order to go, AND the fact that this is a place literally called "BBQ Chicken" that doesnt sell BBQ chicken, and Im going to give this one a hard pass.

Decent food, but atrocious service. In a group of six people, two peoples dishes (Sashimi salad and seafood pancake) came 30 minutes after everyone elses with no apology from the staff except that "they take a long time" and "we are busy". No warning was given at the time of order that these may be late. To add insult to injury, the waitress refused to split the bills, and refused to remove 15% tip from the bill.

Went here on Sunday 7/23/2017, their last day of service before closing for good. Had the fried chicken. It was moist, but had almost no flavour at all in the meat or flour. A little better than Safeway fried chicken, but bland compared to KFC or Popeyes. And the price is about more than DOUBLE of KFC (eg, 5 peices for $13! Really?). Well, I guess thats why they are closing; high prices for college students...

bb wings are so good, def the must have here in this restaurant. ordered corn cheese and spicy soup w/ ham and sausage, the later one was actually a little overpriced. The service was good but the food came a little slower than we expected. There was 9 wings in the bucket.. I do not know if it was supposed to be 8 or 9 or 10.. The menu in eat 24 did not list the sashimi bowl I think but they do have it..

Really good fried chicken. Big fan of their spicy chicken. Their grilled plate is good as well. Nice customer service & good environment. Chickens are fresh & not smelly. But didnt like their fried chicken, kinda sweet. I like spicy fried chicken. Will be back for sure. I know, there are many other fried chicken place around & probably this is not the best. But somehow I like this place

The fried chicken and original spicy wings are good. I love the yogurt soju. Service was slow as it was just one staff on a Friday night. However, the staff was nice and friendly! This place will be closing soon, but hope the new restaurant will still continue with its fried chicken theme...

slow service, bland food, absent minded staff, menu is outdated (some items arent served anymore) (this further confused said absent minded staff). went a while ago, but when i pass by I still see the menu hasnt been updated. I guess the staff either dont care or are utterly clueless.

Quite a few options for korean food. A lot of korean students at UW come here and drink and order large dishes. The food is good and if you dont mind a loud atmosphere its fine. There are a lot of korean restaurants on the ave but this one is a lot more for the drinkers. Not bad.

Terrible service. Terrible food. Probably the worst Korean chicken Ive ever had. The chicken even smelled like rotten eggs. Not fresh at all. Servers dont know how to say thank you or sorry. Never ever going back to this place again.

I have been here several times, and I like almost all the items on the menu. Chicken wings are OK, but I prefer the dukbokki and gizzard. Staff are always friendly. Open pretty late too which is good for hungry students.

The only thing you need to know is Corn Cheese and Original Fried Chicken. Chicken is fried in olive oil and oh can you tell the difference. Popular among young Korean kids, I too love this spot.
