I ordered The Big Bang for lunch with a friend at Black Raven brewery (they deliver to the brewery! Awesome combo). Delivery was pretty quick for lunch on a Saturday and the pizza was perfect. Crust was cooked just right, meats were all just as juicy or crispy as they should be, and the cheese was great. Not stringy, no sliding off the top, nothing. And I dont know what they do with their sauce, but it has some kind of a tang to it that reminds me of pizza parties as a kid. And Im rating their decor solely based off of the photos on their menu, but you gotta love their dedication to a space theme regardless.

Its become a family ritual to trek up here from the south side on weekends and enjoy their pizza and their Sci-Fi themed trivia night! For the two vegetarians in the family the fact that half of their specialty pizza menu is vegetarian is a huge benefit. The non-vegetarians have their favorites too. There is also Mac&Jacks and Black Raven on tap. The pasta is also good and the cheese bread is a regular side for us. If were lucky maybe someday they will expand to the south side!

The pizzas and the desserts. Both are a must have. I loved the Area 51. I like the choice of spicing it up too in the range of 1 to 5. The dessert is a must haves: ice cream with a hot chocolate chip cookie!! :D One point I noticed in the pizza was the quality of the cheese. For a better part of the two years that I have visited flying saucer the cheese used to be fresh but recently the quality of the cheese seemed to be going off the mark.

I was so excited to try this place after reading the reviews. It is close to my house and has a cool vibe. But the pizza was disappointing. It reminded me of a school lunch pizza. Sauce was bland, crust and toppings were just ok. If I had a kid Im sure I would frequent here, because it was very kid-friendly pizza. But as an adult, Im looking for a bit more depth of flavor.

only complaint i have is that i live 1 block out of there delivery area. food is great, love the spudnik and the thai fighter, would definetely recommend to any pizza lover. great thing is it is to order per person, so you dont have to worry about not getting something that someone in your group doesnt like, everyone gets there own personal pie. mmmmmm

I cant love Flying Saucer enough. I would be inclined to think Ive been reeled in by the sci fi decor but no, they are the only place that *I* know of that can make a 10" deep dish pizza and put dang near every kind of meat on it. They make my custom (a 10" gut bomb of all the meats, garlic and olives) without batting an eye. And Jones soda ON TAP!

I have been visiting this place since it first opened, quite a few years ago. They have always consistently made amazing food. If you want the most amazing calzone ever, this is the place. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but the calzones? They are the most amazing thing my mouth has ever tasted!

Clean, fast, tasty and cheap. Had the lunch special for $6 (6.60 after tax). Got a personal 6" DeepDish pizza which also came with a side salad. Fun atmosphere, lots of "space" themes but nothing bizarre. My only complaint is its kind of small for a pizza place. Would go again if I was nearby.

We found this qwerky, quaint place using Google Maps as we were going to see Tim Hawkins at Over lake Christian Church and didnt know what was in the area. So glad we found them! Had the "Area 51" 10" pizza and shared a full salad with my wife. Good food and atmosphere for such a tiny place.

The calzone is delicious. The decor is super fun and creative. The soda machine has Jones Soda with real cane sugar which is a huge plus. Service has always been friendly and quick. When ordering from home, delivery is fast and free. This place is wonderful! I highly recommend this place!

This place is great. They have lots of options to pick from plus you can choose your toppings as well. The theme is really fun and the pizza names are cool. They have vegan cheese too which is great for me! Pizza takes a bit to get to you but they cook it on the spot. Worth the wait.

First time visiting and somehow another diner swooped out with my pizza and without question they made good on it by making a fresh pie, comping it and giving me a $20 gift card! Ill definitely come back to pick up a few pizzas for a team event. It was great pizza by the way. Thanks!

Fast friendly service and delicious pizza. They have an amazing selection of beers on tap. The pizzas only come in two sizes, 8in or 10in. The dining area was decently sized and the decor was astronomical-it was all UFO/alien theme. I look forward to trying more of their pizzas.

Theres nothing below average about Flying Saucer. The pizza is fine and the price is about what youd expect for personal pizzas. Its best for very small groups or picky eaters but not optimal if you want to feed a lot people. The theme inside is really wild but fun.

Cool spot with a lot of good choices for personal pizzas and calzones. They are also pretty quick making it a nice place for lunch. There is a decent selection of beer, however they will also deliver to you if you want to go across the street to Black Raven.

Very good pizza and a huge selection of beers, but you have to come in for the latter. Beers are reasonably priced and the pizza is great for flavor and okay for size. Given the great beers and growler service, I would expect better carry-out combos.

Loved both the food and the sci-fi theme! Theres a lot of different pizzas to choose from so theres something for everyone...my favourites were the Thai Fighter and the Soylent Green. Service was good and the locally-brewed beer topped it all off.

Pizza is pretty good, sometimes theres issues, but thats a busy spot and I can see why stuff can go amiss. Plus the owners are on top of fixing issues it seems. Worth dropping by and trying it out. Plus the environment is very cool.

Quick, good crust, affordable, many topping options and a good beer selection. I wasnt blown away by my Andromeda pizza but it wasnt bad. I would come back if I was in the area but it wont be a destination for me.

Great selection of local craft beers. Fast friendly service. Family friendly. Perfect for our soccer team. Pizza dough is made in house. Tasty wings. Jones sodas on tap. Looking forward to our return.

Wonderful decoration, ambiance and friendly staff! Great place to hang out! But...subpar, expensive pizza. Not necessarily as good as a Dominos...and they only serve personal pizzas? Who does that?

Service was friendly and helpful, pizza was delicious, and a great list of local beers/ciders/wines. Space theme is fun and overall vibe was very lowkey and laid back. Would definitely recommend.

I love Flying Saucer. The lunch special is one of the best deals around, the specialty pizzas are fantastic, cheesy bread is crispy and delicious, and the beer selection always has great options.
