Id give zero stars if I could. Really disappointed. I had gone here a few times before and had no complaints. I requested a calzone (first time ordering one), very clearly stated, I might add, over the phone, got there, picked up the item, drove home, then found a PIZZA in the box. I called to explain the mistake, my call was taken by one of the servers. She said, "OK", then put me on hold and handed me to another woman, presumably the owner or manager. This woman did not introduce herself, and say, "how may I help you?", but rather simply, upon taking the call, said, "whats the problem?" in an angry, hostile tone of voice. After politely explaining the error, she retorted, continuing to sound rude: "well, what do you want us to do?" She offered to reimburse me $10.00, as the pizza was more expensive than the calzone. She also said, "you mean you didnt notice it was a pizza when you took it out?" I tried to explain that it was my first time taking out a calzone, and she interrupted with, "hahaha.". A decent business would apologize profusely and reimburse the customer and offer to make any other appropriate amends. When I informed her I probably wouldnt be coming back, she responded, "Okay!" as if to say, "no big deal, weve got plenty of business!". On top of this, the pizza we did get was TERRIBLE! soggy and poor flavor. Trust me, Amantes, Im definitely not going back.

Do not order from Amante! Twice I have had pizza that tasted "off." This last incident occurred when I bit into moldy pizza! It was a pesto base, and I think the pesto was bad. I called the store and asked for a refund. The answer? "I will pick the pizza up and if I can "see" mold on it, you will be refunded." It didnt matter that I told them that the (already green) pizza "looked" fine. Then the story became; " we cant refund you because you ordered through the app (grubhub). They picked up the pizza that I was charged 23.00 for, and I have no refund as of yet (two days ago). This is not a solo incident. Amante in Silver Lake is using ingredients that are past due. I cannot believe the level of adolescence and unprofessionalism that I heard on the phone when reporting this. The "manager" demonstrated adolescent attitude, and when the delivery boy came back to get the pizza he too had attitude. They shouldve been kissing my ass. I had just paid them $23 for pizza I no longer had, because it was foul with mold from their store. Worst customer service experience I have ever had! Do not order from this store.

I ordered from here to have it delivered to my work, since I dont get a chance to leave for a ten hour shift. When my coworker and I finally got a break we found out that the order was missing a gyro and salad. I called Amantes and told them what happened. They literally said theyd call me back. Didnt even ask for a contact number or my name. Needless to say they didnt call me back. After fifteen minutes I called Amantes again, was put on hold and then just told "the drivers on his way". When the driver got here he just handed my a box and said "Heres the gyro they forgot." then immediately left. I missed my only break, the "lamb" was burned, and I never even got the salad. I was really excited for my first time ordering from Amantes because they have such a great menu. Im not going to waste my time or money on an average quality product which isnt even cooked properly, and awful customer service. No one apologized or even offered to make it right. Take some pride in your job.

We recently moved to the area, and were so excited to have an Amantes nearby! We loved the Amantes in Juanita so much that it was one of our top go-tos for a quick, delicious take-home meal. Weve ordered from this location twice, and the service was great and the food was ready quickly, as we expected. There are a couple of differences from the Juanita location that I found a little disappointing, though. Very minor things - no reason we wont continue to order from here - but the caesar salad isnt available in the large size, the dressing isnt the same (not quite as good), and the lettuce was chopped in such large pieces that it was kind of hard to eat. The meat lovers calzone was delicious, but the crust didnt have the buttery coating that the Juanita one does. The pizza was just as good as ever, though, so well definitely be ordering that again!

I have enjoyed Amantes fine cuisine dozens of times and I am always extremely satisfied with my dining experience. The prices of their dishes are reasonably priced, in my opinion, although others may argue that point and say theyre a bit spendy. But when you take in to consideration the quality and freshness of their ingredients blended together and perfectly seasoned to create authentic Italian dishes generously portioned and presented in a fine upscale dining environment, you realize that you are paying for perfection. I have treated many family members, friends and colleagues to Amantes Pizza and Pasta, and everyone is in agreement that if you want some of the best pizza and italian cuisine available in western Washington you will be thrilled with Amantes. The food is always delicious regardless of whether you dine in or have it delivered.

Im reviewing from my wife and my experienced from delivery and then eating at the restuarant. What we first saw was a menu on-line that gave us that higher-end choices at a pricier budget. Italian Food for the bored? We called first to find out that we should order on-line. They responded quickly, gave us a place to describe how to get to our address and the food arrived early. We ordered the Quatro Formaggio with Kalamata Olives (to die for!) and some expensive chocolate cake desserts. So, we lived alittle... It was awesome food! Since eating there I have wanted to review this restaurant. The food is fresh and very well prepared, the service we got was better than most and the price? Although a little more spendy we dont go that often yet look forward to when we do!

My husband and me have been enjoying excellent meals at this Silver Lake Amantes since they opened. Their Insalda Caprese salad and cheese bread make a meal by themselves. But of course we dont stop there we always have to include a pizza or pasta in our order. Knowing that we will have plenty of yummy leftovers. The portion sizes on all dishes are generous and the prices are very fair. The owner and staff really care about the quality of every dish that leaves the kitchen. We have never been disappointed by the quality of their food or the serving staff. It is nice to have a place to go to where one feels pampered and satisfied.

Ordered delivery with more than an hour before closing, but our food arrived over an hour later. My calzone was really light on meat, heavy on spinach and vegetables that taste like the inside of a refrigerator thats been without power a day or so. I normally order the exact same thing from the Everett location and love it. The Italian chicken wings were hot but soggy and mushy breading. 42 dollars worth of food and I could barely eat any of it. Over cooked hard pasta and congealed sauce. Its as if they half cooked food that needed to be thrown out.
