This place was literally my husband and mines favorite place to go, food was great and filling, totally worth the price and the staff is phenomenal! so friendly!! the last few times we have went our breakfasts have been greasy and dont taste right, and my husbands portion was 1/3 the size for the same price!! we then find out its because they have a new chef..... So I decided to try it again a month or so later figuring he should have settled in and learned the recipes but NO. overly greasy and salty and just not good. and not worth the price anymore. they even made my daughters mac and cheese taste off! she didnt want to finish it. Please bring the old chef back so I can enjoy my favorite breakfast place again, Elmers is just not cutting it!! But the waitresses and waiters are still just as amazing as ever. GREAT service, terrible food:(

The diner it self is super adorable with its "Remember When" pamphlets and good service, but the food was subpar. The mashed potatoes and fries were the only thing that was good. My boyfriend ordered the Swedish meatballs and the split pea soup. The meatballs were cold and the soup was a watery hot dog juice. I got a chocolate malt, that was more whipped cream then actual malt, and for dinner I got the cheesesteak dip. The veggies were good but the meat was lacking something on the tastebuds. On the plus side, the military discount makes up for the high prices.

The experience was average. Three points (1) diner environment, (2) service, (3) food. First the diner environment is quant it could strive to have better lighting and the color scheme is divided between two/three diner design ages. However, the exterior is cute and the main entrance has so much potential. Second the service is average not extraordinary. Overall service wasnt memorable which means waiters did not go above and beyond but they also were good and did their job making it average. Third the food is good but again not amazing. Good but not memorable.

Uppity diner serving some classic and some more interesting dishes with a phenomenal all day breakfast menu and hardworking staff. I like the classic diner theme, though I think they need some help getting their branding to be a little more cohesive. The corned beef hash was good, though Id be up for trying something different next time. My wife loved the Hungry Viking dish which was a bed of hash browns, eggs, ham steak, bacon and sausage gravy. Considering the upscale tourist main street location, their prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back again.

alright lemme start off by saying that your pancakes are very crusty. Like crusty. Crusty crusty. Ew. Service was awful. Waitress had no clue what was going on, neither did I but thats not my job. They completely forgot about my drinks. Twice. I got the crusty pancakes before my stupid root beer and it was watered down. A true waste of time. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I am disgusted. Truly, my day was completely ruined by the Green Light Diner. Also, the lady outside would not let me pet her dog. I was mad. >:0

The place is on the smaller side but we got there early and were lucky enough to get a eat in the small atrium up front. The lighting was amazing. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was great too. I got the Cheeseburger which comes with a good sized patty and was cooked just right. I am also impressed that they have seltzer water available. Next time I am in Poulsbo I will definitely be eating here again. I cant wait to try out other things on the menu.

Great little diner with friendly service and great food! Only been here once, but was looking for a night out with the family after a stressful few weeks and this was just what we needed. Not too fancy, yet its clean and well kept, and the staff are happy to help you out. Its a place with personality, and well most likely be coming here again.

My GF and I both ordered the blue cheese burger with garlic parm fries. The local Sluys bun helpped make it fantastic. Service was good and the food was excellent. Im not aware of a diner with better quality. For dessert we shared a "mor mor chocolate" shake. The coconut added something special. We both left satisfied for a reasonable price.

Actually pretty good for an Americana diner, which are by definition uninspired. I like the décor, kitsch but not nauseating. The interior could be a bit more cozy. The menu seemed diverse for a diner. The architecture and outdoor seating are lovely. Our server was quick witted, and my tea service was prompt and accommodating.

The food was awesome! Great, clean fifties atmosphere set the place apart from other diners the portions were large, tasty, and not greasy at all the servers were friendly and quick a deck of cards at the table provided was a great addition. The owner even personally came to check on us. Great experience!

Found this place to get breakfast while driving back to Portland for Port Angeles. We ordered Mediterranean omelet, salmon benedict and banana chocolate shake. Benedict and shake were really good. Service was kinda on a slower side, may be because it was pretty full. Would come back here if I pass by!

Great location in downtown Poulsbo. Weve only tried breakfast but it was pretty good. I had the Hungry Viking and it reminds me of the KFC bowl but breakfast style. And it was worth it. Good service and strong Bloody Mary for breakfast is always a plus

The eggs were too hard. The Mac and cheese was gummy the cheeses sauce was floury. Had a bloody Mary and there was no alcohol in it. Will not come back and this used to be out favorite place. Servers were rude and good gross. Do not go.

I love their cajun alfredo with shrimp. A decent portion of shrimp and a nice amount of food overall. We leave satisfied. They have a huge array of sodas which my son loves. Everything weve ever had there has been really great so far.

Pricing is good and service was great. I got the shrimp eggs Benedict with a side of sausages. I wouldnt recommend it. I would of known it was a bad combo. It was weird and the sausages were gross. Milk shakes were good though.

Nice enough server but food took nearly one entire hour to arrive for a table of 6 during a moderately busy lunch hour (place wasnt even full). Terrible. Food itself was acceptable and nothing special. Avoid.

The best food and cutest diner! We stopped by for breakfast on our honeymoon road trip. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Cant wait to come back again.

Been here many time already and always happy! Usually come for breakfast or lunch, their shakes are fantastic, especially the apple pie milkshake. Good prices and friendly staff too

Service was very good. food not so good. Ordered soup & salad, salad should of been put in compost not on my plate. Chowder was very greasy. Wont waste my money there again.
