My husband and I had reservations for Valentines Day dinner and were so disappointed by our experience that we felt we had to write a review. The first red flag was that we were required to leave a credit card number in order to make the reservation. Secondly we were not told that it would be a limited and set menu. We placed our order and waited one hour and finally inquired about how long we still needed to wait for our dinner. We were told by our server that they had run out of prime rib and we would now need to make a different selection. She offered us the lobster which was not an option since my husband is deathly allergic. His only choice since he is a big meat fan, was the short ribs. Not an ideal choice for a special, expensive, romantic dinner. A group of four were seated across from us at least 20 minutes after we, were served their dinner before us and low and behold, it was prime rib. My husband hailed our server and asked how that could happen and she said that their order had somehow gotten placed before ours. We were not happy not did we believe her. When we finally got our dinner, it was not hot. She offered to reheat but by then I was so hungry that I declined and just ate my mediocre meal. My husbands short ribs had the flavor and consistency of pot roast. To top off the whole evening, we passed the kitchen and saw the chef slicing some prime rib. Never again!!!!

We would like to get a lunch with our 3 month old baby. Food was nice... But it is not a great place to come with baby because it really loud place. They should take a care to families who has a baby... And big thing we was with other family who has a child 5 years old. They are bring to kids menu with orange juice. And BIG THING ORANGE JUICE WAS TASTED LIKE EXPIRED. And we was try it and have a discomfort on our stomach. Manager of restaurant tried to convince us it is good juice... That is weird... Manager should be more polite with customers, not like security guy.... I dont know who is going to be responsible for that... And THAT JUICE WAS PROVIDED FOR 5 YEARS OLD CHILD....

The food was tasty, I had the Cobb Salad. My reason for rating at a three is due to the lack of service (note here that we were not there at a busy time, rather a weekday lunch). My party ordered a bottle of wine, about twenty minutes later the server returned to tell us that that wine was out of stock and asked if we would like an alternate option, we agreed to the alternate option. The server provided two options and we selected one, the bottle took another 10 to 20 minutes to come out. The lack luster service continued throughout our visit including no refills on water. The bottom line, the views and food are excellent, in this reviewers opinion plan extra time for food.

I love the decor of this place. We ordered oysters and fish tacos for appetizers. Fish tacos were very good! Light and they dont skimp on the fish. I couldve easily made it my entree. For dinner we ordered lobster roll and sea bass. Both were very fresh. The bread on the lobster roll was chewy n crusty-perfect. I really want to come back and try their clam chowder and everything else!

Food isnt good at all. I dont recommend here for any occasions (was here for valentine, same thing). The steak was supposed to be medium, and it looks like this (see photo), also the food was missing for some on the table and came 15 min late almost when everyone was done. Only go if you want to see some views.

The Calcutta Grill has a wonderful ambiance, great service and a menu with a wide variety of options. There were three of us for dinner and we all had different meals. All of the meals were well prepared and presented wonderfully. I recommend a visit to the Calcutta Grill.

The olive bread was so good. I had the Miso Glazed Alaskan Halibut. Not only as it amazing, I had enough for lunch the next day. The creme brûlée was so good. The views were incredible and the service staff was perfect! Very nice and Ill be back!

I ordered from the bar menu and the food was mediocre. Sliders had no flavor and the calamari came out soggy and cold. Ive never had calamari that looked like chicken nuggets. Service was slow and not very attentive. Absolutely would not recommend.

Great atmosphere and excellent menu! Really a treat for this that want something romantic and breathtaking view! Lunch is great. But try to time it for sunset! Bagpipes and all. Truly a treat.

Downhill is an understatement. The food is simply a disappointment. The service, randomly good. The view fantastic but no longer "that" good to convince me or others to dine there.

The food just continues to go downhill at this place, as does the service. So sad. Theres also a jerk upstairs named Todd who makes visiting the Wooley Toad something to avoid.
