I have been an on-going customer there for about half a year but my last experience makes me just have a strong feeling of resentment towards one of the workers, Steve. It happened on a Friday afternoon on my way to someones house that I decided to stop and have a drink there. I never go in on Fridays so this bartender was new to me but one of the girls that works there recognized me. As I am drinking a beer and playing pool, the table(which almost every other night does this) decided to stop releasing the balls. After talking to one of the girls I realized that the mechanism was broken. The place where you insert quarters fell and I, still determined to play pool, decided to use the table as is by pressing the lever to release the balls. After a few games the bartender, Steve, approached me in a furious manner and started calling me a thief. His reason was that I was not putting in the quarters to play pool. Keep in mind that the quarters that I was going to use for the games were on the side of the table just like anyone else puts them there. I tried explaining to the bartender that the table is not working properly but then I was called a liar. I even told him to try it himself but it felt like I was talking to a machine with no response back except the words "liar and thief" coming out of his mouth.Of course I didnt like the poor language he used and could not believe the audacity he had to describe me in that way. I specifically told him what the problem was and that his attitude is A-hole like and no customer should be treated that way.First told me I could not play pool anymore. I was so astonished by his behavior. Never have I ever been treated there that way. Turns out that before I even finished explaining to him what happened that I got banned from the bar. He would not even listen to my side of story. Ever since I started going to this bar, about 6 months ago I have spent an average of 50-60 dollars a night there in alcohol 4 dollars on pool. I am not sure how his rationale works but getting banned for the 5 pool matches I played that night, 2-3 of which I didnt "pay" for. I still paid my bill for the night and decided to talk to one of the girls which let me know that there are a lot of people having trouble with this guy and that she will have a manager call me but nothing yet.Another point to keep in mind is that I tip about 15-20 bucks on a 50 dollar bill so again I am intrigued by his inability to cooperate in a human-like manner, I mean mot people probably leave you like 4-5 dollars. I am not sure why the hatred.I have been trying to talk to a manager, but no responses back. I tried to leave my phone number for the owner to call me but then again no response so I will give this place 1 star and I will follow up when I get a call from the manager or the owner. Please email me if you read this.

To the owner of the Sideline, My husband and I were in on 5/20/14 between 9:30 pm and 10:45 pm, from what we could tell there was 2 people that were working and it was far from crowded. The bartender got our first set of drinks for us but when it came around to ordering our second round there wasnt any one ready or willing to serve us. My husband called out "Excuse Me" twice at the female waitress and she gave the impression that she didnt hear him or understand what he meant by "Is the grill open" her comment was "It will be for a while" and than walked off. The bartender picked up my husbands glass after he was done with it, but didnt ask if he was ready for another one, instead went back to his phone. They were both on their phones more than taking care of customers and we had to chase down the gal to get a second round, we asked for a bud light draft and received a bottle instead. I dont know what your policy is about customer interaction is but your employees need to be talked to. It seems as if they are more concerned with their own personal needs then doing their jobs taking care of the customers.

The service here is poor. From the start, on UFC night, they charge ten bucks at the door; which may be a bit high, but no other bars in the area show UFC, so thats what youre stuck with. Aside from that, the attitude that we received inside was uncalled for and unnecessary. Not sure if the waitress was having a bad day, but we definitely felt like we were inconveniencing her by asking for menus. We asked about what type of beers they had to which we got the reply " we have sixteen types on tap, what do you want". SERIOUS ATTITUDE. We finally managed to get a pitcher and some hot wings, which were really good. The sauce had a little kick and was tangy, so props to the kitchen for yummy hot wings. Overall though, the waitress pretty much ruined going back there for fight night again. Well order pay per view next time or try Kirkland to see if they have a bar that hosts UFC.

It was cheap and we had a great bartender. The bartender was great about picking drinks but they had no drink menu and no way to know what it cost. Between the two of us it was 40 and we had 8 or so beers and some tator tots which really were great. The atmosphere was ok but just like with any bar you can have a bunch of loud obnoxious guys and unfortunately for us the bartender just seemed amused by it but all in all its not bad. Good beer selection, mid-level mixed drinks selection, not the sort of place you go for wine. They have a pool table or two and giant janga. Also 4+ TVs with various sports on. It can be a good place to get cheap but good to decent drinks to kill time or hang out with a group of friends.

Pretty poor atmosphere, if you ask me. First, the mens room smells like urine, DISGUSTING. Second, bartender had a poor attitude, wasnt very friendly, and didnt know how to poor well. We had two rounds of "doubles" which turned out to be more juice or soda than anything. I wouldve been ok with the shabby drinks if the bartender was much more personable than she was. Note to owners; have the staff clean up up a bit. Sorry, wish I could rate your establishment higher.

Its my go to Pub for game day. Although their half priced nights are legendary...the food is pricier than the ambience would hint at. Staff is always awesome, but I come here for the convenience and dozen screens on game day. They do have some items on the menu that keep you coming back. It stays busy ...just dont think you will be eating at a Gastropub. Think Sports Bar and you wont be disappointed.

Been on and off from this bar. Food wise for a bar actually edible and filling. Bar itself a nice little chill spot, regulars are all good vibes and staff is friendly down to earth people, just dont have a push over personality. Wendsdays and Sundays half off with Karaoki. Really cant beat that and most of the singers have a voice. Besides that best sports bar in Bellevue.
