Classics is a down-to-earth gem, rare in these days of frilly, yet disappointing, --and expensive-- restaurants. Exceptional bar food for cheap, particularly their pizza (1/2 price Sat), chicken wings (50 cents Fri, and nachos. Draft beer and heavy-handed drinks, also cheap, make hanging out a few hours easy to do. This is my favorite place to enjoy a game, and Ill happily drive 45 min from Ballard to continue supporting this great local staple. Come here often enough, and youll find your favorite bartender who will learn your order and maybe even become your new best friend. Our girl Slim was out on maternity leave for a few months, and she scooted right into our booth for some "welcome-back" excitement when we saw her again! Classics is that kind of place. The owner, Bruce, may pull up a chair and chat a few minutes before lending a hand wherever needed. We love this place! Oh, and theres pool, shuffleboard, darts, a jukebox, and live DJs some weekends. Try them out for some good times!

Place used to be rather decent. Now though, bartenders try to get you beat up. They call people names, including each other. Cindy and Jewel are horrible people. Read Rons review on yelp for the full story. Advantages here is very strong drinks, food above average. How Jewel and Cindy have managed to keep their jobs is beyond me, any place that allows their staff to abuse their patrons shouldnt be a good place to hang. Here if you dont tip enough, youll hear about it, right away or youll just be ignored every time you come in. Its not all bad though, the food is quit good, but thats because the cooks obviously care about their jobs.

Nothing fancy. But the service, drinks and food are amazing. The food is very large portions and cooked to your specification. I got the hamburger and asked what it included? She replied what do you want? Two patties , 2 pieces of cheese etc.. Done. The burrito is huge and very tasty. Bathrooms are cleaner than you would expect. They have an outdoor patio, shuffle board, darts and best of all a nice selection of beer. I have always had fun at this place.

Its not always the place where everyone knows your name but it is the place where everyone encourages one another. Its as far in to the sticks as the city folks are willing to venture and its as close to the city as the rednecks are willing to venture. A safe place for both Renton ganstas and maple valley rednecks to come cheers together. Great comfort food, joyful service, skilled bartenders, super friendly crowd. Five star find.

Very disappointed to hear that my favorite bartender was no longer there on Sunday nights. Came in and the new girl (whom weve never seen before) not only told us too much of the details about Jewels absence but was very short with us. We wont be coming back here again as Jewel was the only reason we came in the first place. We will be following her to her next location.

Good food great drinks and cleanness gets better by the week. Obviously the owner has a plan to clean this place up and has been doing a great job. Cant wait to see the next improvement. I wish other bar owner would reinvest in there bar.... 5 plus stars for the owmer and Classics

Stopped by here after visiting the shooting range, nice little bar, great service. Looks like a dive bar from the road, but it isnt that bad on the inside. Clean and well lit, not a family place, but its a bar so it shouldnt be! Food was pretty good, even for bar food.

Good dive bar with strong drinks and above average food. Enjoy half price pizza on Saturdays. The pies are quality. The wait staff are usually on point. At time the loud music can become distracting. Over all, after 13 yeaes, the place has over preformed!

Absolutely love this lil bar excellent bar staff that pours one hell of a drink! Also SUNDAYS is happy hour all day! Wednesday is awesome for the giant chimichanga and the pizza is excellent also with so many other options!
