Close your eyes, then imagine yourself on a black sand beach, because youre celebrating that promotion you just got in that high paying job you didnt even apply for. In one hand is a winning lottery ticket where you played the jersey numbers of your favorite players on that championship sports team you love. In the other hand is a remote control that allows you to control space and time, and mute that annoying group of kids three lounge chairs over. Beside you is that famous person you bumped into, and had to help pickup their dropped movie script, where you shared a hearty laugh, had a few drinks in the hotel bar, and are now co-starring in the movie. You think to yourself, this day could not get any better. Sluggers is nothing like that, but the food is good and the staff are sweethearts. Once you go there, youll be a regular, and maybe then youll stop daydreaming when people on the Internet tell you to, walk out the door, and order a beer at this pinnacle of human achievement in the thirst quenching sciences.

Love, love, love this place. Staff are wonderful and friendly and take the time to get to know you. Prices are wonderful with a long happy hour from 3 -7 with good food and an unbeatable taco Tuesday deal 2 hard shell for 1$ or two soft shell for 2$, be ready for a taste that reminds your more of home and not a taquria style but to me reminds me of my childhood. Spacious place to play darts or pool or shuffleboard. Anyone that visits me I always bring on by. Highly recommend .

The burger was great, but it wasnt until now that I realized someone (probably the waiter) padded the bill and charged more than I wrote down on the check. Its only $1 - but how can you trust a place that knowingly cheats you out of money. The event happened at 1:32PM on 1/9/13

The quintessential old TV screens that you can only find in a dive bar represent this sports-watching and alcohol-drinking phenomenon. I live in the neighborhood, and find this place loud and sketchy, but if youre into that sort of thing that have at it!

Nice little bar with good beer, good bartenders and good food. TVs everywhere for sports fans (not me, its close and is a good bar. Throw some sci-fi on there). The food is surprisingly good and I think would pass muster in a restaurant.

Good sports bar to watch the Hawks. Lots of TVs. Foods overpriced for what u get..except for their salad. Service is great until the game starts them its goes down hill fast.

Great dive sportsbar - they just got new carpet and the bathroom tile will be remodeled soon as well. Tons of TVs all in good locations, a great regular crowd.
