Our experience was very negative. We called in a togo order: 3 curries and a burger, so a moderate size. We where told it would be 20 minutes so we arrived 20 minutes later. When we arrived we where shouted a greeting from the kitchen, and then waited. (The lady mopping the floors checked in on us) I could see people standing in the kitchen, one of them finally came out, very smiley, and apologized for the wait. We let her know we where the togo, she stopped mid stride, frowned, said "oh" and walked away. We waited. (Cleaner lady checked on us again) She then popped back out of the kitchen and told us that she just had a "big top" (server jargon for large group) leave, "just now" (long enough ago that there was no outward sign of a large group having been there... so time enough to bus and reset) and so she only just now put in our order because "they where here, and she was... She just forgot", and did we mind waiting another 10 minutes, shes very sorry. Now I work in the industry, so I understand that things happen. Things get forgot. Bummer, but ok. So we wait. She asks us if we would like something to drink, we say: yes, water. We wait. She brings us water... and she tells us how "today was her long shift", "open to close" so she didnt get to enjoy any of the sun... well she got one break to step outside... and we waited. Then she came out with our food and did not place them into our outstretched hands, instead walked around us, around the counter, set the bags on the counter, said "her you go, sorry about the wait", we said things happen and her reply was "yea, thats what the cook said when I said how sorry I was for making him rush and he said I dont do it THAT often, which is true otherwise Id probably not have a job" then stared at us. We stared back. She said "ok then" and pushed our bags towards us across the counter. ... When we got to the car we reviewed the order as best we could; our selves; as nothing was labeled. We ordered two orders of naan bread, one regular and one garlic. There was only one naan bread (although each rice and veggie [3] had its own box)... Back in he went to get the other bread and this time no waiting, he came back out and said that was indeed two orders (there is no garlic on this bread). Recap: now we are finally home, the fries sat under a heat lamp too long, the burger bun is hard and the curries are kinda all the same... Note to server: when you mess up... and know you did... offer something to make it better. 10% off (to help cover the tip you got but didnt deserve) or an extra $2 order of naan bread to make a guest happy isnt going to bankrupt the business unless you DO do this regularly.

We wanted to try something new for dinner so I "googled" Best restaurant in Marsyville and Boondockers Café was #1. We get there and there is a room full of empty tables, we had to wait at least 5 minutes until we were greeted and sat. It was so cold in the big room that none of us took off our jackets. Never offered a drink or appetizer just straight to the question of if we are ready to order. I wanted the special of Corned Beef and Cabbage (is was St.Patricks day) and they were out but left the sign up and it was only 6:30! We got our food it was below average, no pizzaz no love just ingredients stacked up on eachother. Very blah and boring. In fact, the poor waitress asked is the food "Satisfactory?" Wow! now at this time we are the only ones left occupying this large empty space with tired and boring décor with no focal point definitely nothing to WOW you at all. The waitress comes back as im just kind of picking at my fries and asks if Im done and I was, starts taking the plate away and says "you never know sometimes the customers just want me to get it out of their face so that they wont be forced to eat anymore of it." WOW! Bless her heart but she was defeated and let down by this establishment that needs some serious help! Restaurant Impossible Please Help Them!!!

I dont know what exactly everybody sees about this place. We tried this place for the first time because of the good reviews. As a chef I tend to try new places. I have found that the mom and pop shops usually have the best food and I am usually eager into trying them out. Bad experience from the beginning. First off, I dont need four different servers to take our orders. After our orders were in the first plate showed up fifteen min before the other plate because the cook didnt want the food to get cold. I ordered a chicken fried steak breakfast. The potatoes were good, the eggs OK, the steak good but the gravy tasted like dough. My bisquit was good but the honey they gave me was separated. My wife ordered the parisian chicken. It was wrapped in very well over cooked egg wash with a lemon drizzle, disgusting. The mashed potato that came with it was like an over cooked baked potato peeled and smashed on the plate with butter on top. One bite of that turned my stomach. We left. Had to take my wife some where else to get something to eat. If a Pakistan restaurant cant make american food then they shouldnt have it on their menu. We will never go back.

No. Just... NO. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone rates this place higher than a single star. It is completely inconceivable. Please, avoid this place at all costs. There are better places in Marysville and Everett for American breakfasts/lunches and Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Wait staff took longer than they needed to. Food ordered was: 1) Chicken sandwich - overcooked chicken. After my daughter took the meat off the sandwich, she stated it tasted better. 2) Chicken Tikka Masala - again, overcooked chicken. 3) Lamb Vindaloo - overcooked lamb, which was also full of gristle. 4) Garlic Naan - overcooked, burnt on the bottom. In the Pakistani dishes, it definitely tasted as it came out of a can versus freshly made. We couldnt finish our meals and drove through Jack In the Box for a couple of tacos - which were much better. Seriously, if fast food tastes better than a restaurant meal, then you are doing some thing wrong. Stomach was so upset when I got home (no, I didnt have the tacos, my stomach couldnt handle it) I was surprised I didnt get ill.

Best Kept Secret In Marysville!!!! It is conveniently located directly across the street from the boys and girls club. I love frequenting places like this because I know the service is always great and the wait time is almost always minimal. Its also very clean and well managed. The staff is extremely friendly and my most recent visit was a pleasure. As for the food, I typically eat breakfast here but they have plenty of great choices on the menu. The music is upbeat and really adds to a fun dining experience. Although I considered not leaving a feedback for this place as I would love to keep it to myself, I can not do that in good conscience as I believe the owners of this place deserve a hats off for providing an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to support this local restaurant as they are the true heart of the city. A special thanks Courtney for helping make this place shine. A++
