The pho is just mediocre, but everything else Ive had was yummy. A few of my favorites are the venison, soft shell crab rolls, lemongrass chicken and those oh so tender beef cubes! The atmosphere is lush, with lots of tropical plants and a little pond with turtles by the entrance. The staff is very attentive, and the service has always been good. The are currently closed for remodeling, but I look forward to going back.

The quality of the food is there, but could be improved. Food proportions are very small too and expensive, compared to the other vietnamese restaurants Ive tried around the area. Very spacious restaurant, and the staff is not really too interactive/friendly. My family comes here a few times a month, and we get more of the same too. Egg rolls are delicious, and thats my favorite item on the menu

Authentic Vietnamese "experience" (lol) - kitschy and tropical at the same time; feels like having dinner on a roadhouse patio outside of Hanoi, minus the bugs, and with a slightly faster service. Get the appetizer sampler. The porridge is awesome, too. This is my closest favorite pho place.

This WOULD get 5 stars; the food is good, but due to recent issues its demoted to a 4. Why? They have recently had a baby and the restaurant has become his playpen. Do not try to carry out a conversation. And the worst part is: They dont seem to notice!

To be honest, I am quite surprised to see how well this place did in Google reviews. Coming from a city with many authentic Vietnamese restaurants, I was quite disappointed after dining here. This place does earn two stars for its ambience.

We were delighted with the many options for all of us. We were 7 and each one of us found a delicious dish that we shared with all. From a vegan son, to a carnivore nephew. A "must" treat in El Cerrito.

Wonderful food for everyone! Im a carnivore and my friends a vegan; we both ate well. In terms of decor, I especially love the huge water buffalo and the aquarium.

Simple vietnamese fare, try their special Viet-styled hot and sour soup, (couldnt be more different from Chinese version) Canh Chua, with pineapple and shrimp!
