Drove all the way down here and its closed, even though online it says its open and the hours on the door say it should be open as well. Theres no note explaining why, I would be more forgiving if they made an effort to explain. Update: 2 months later I come back and they are actually open and I decided to give them another chance. Im glad I did, but not enough to give them five stars. They seem to prioritize to go orders because people who ordered after me for takeout got their stuff first. That said however the server was very kind and sweet and patient. When I did eventually get my food ( it actually wasnt too long a wait. Like 10 maybe 15 minutes) It looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. I though no place could top four corner teriyaki in maple valley but this place actually might as far as taste and service. Id definitly give this place a try, but be aware that there is a small chance they wont be open during their posted business hours.

**** 4 stars for the FOOD**** zero stars for the service. This is the 2nd time Ive ordered from this store. This is the second time the person at the counter was rude. Even though I really loved the store in Kent, I will never, never come to this one in Maple Valley again! The lady today informed me that: "you are late" (why yes, I was late, but since I ordered @ 12:07, Picked it up at 12:40, and wasnt going to eat it until 4:30pm) I wasnt concerned. I did not appreciate the words, and the TONE totally made me mad. So, if you dont care about service, go here for the food. But, if you want good service to accompany the good food, then pass this place by.

Disgusting food. I took my wifes family there after a long flight. I took them there trusting the good Google reviews. I felt so ashamed with my wifes family; we all had the worst sushi weve ever had in our lives and the chicken teriyaki was horrible too. The waiter was friendly though, but I still feel like I wasted my money here.

Ive never had a bad experience at Himitsu. The service is fast and friendly, I call in my order and by the time I get there Im greeted with a smile and my food. The egg drop soup is especially good and the Teriyaki sauce is excellent and they dont skimp on the sauce. I highly recommend this place..

Great yaki joint in Maple Valley. The staff is always extra friendly and I actually like eating in the restaurant here. They do have a TV in the restaurant and they offer brown rice, chicken breast, and other non-teriyaki options that are solid. Go!

My favorite local teriyaki spot in Maple Valley...I always order a side of Kimchi to kick it up a notch. Teriyaki isnt drowned in sauce like some places. My kids love the shrimp & vegetable tempura. Highly recommended.

Im usually a take out teryaki guy for the family on the way home. Nice and easy to make a phone in order that always ready within 15 minutes. The family that runs the place is very friendly and quick.

If you could rate a place LESS THAN ZERO I WOULD, the service is terrible!!!!!! Go someplace that is happy to have you as a customer as it should be, not rude abrupt and unfriendly like this one.

Great!! Went there our first time and well be going back, its delicious, the beef teriyaki is the best Ive ever had, its like strips of steak not paper thin!! The chicken was great as well.
