I wanted reservations at the restaurant but the lady on the phone was extremely hard to understand along with the fact that she did not explain to us why we could not make reservations, she recommended that we just walk in. My family of 6 and I decided to walk in, we came in a little after 6:30, the lady told us that she had us down and the maximum wait time was 1 hour, so we waited. We finally got seated at 8:20 which is more than an hour than we told us, we constantly asked when we could get seated and they told us one more person ahead of us but maybe 4 to 6 people were seated before us. We have planned to see a movie around 9 pm and we missed the beginning half due to how long it takes the food to be made even though the restaurant was not very busy, actually pretty empty. I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of this night. I really hope your experience is better. The food was pretty good but the service was extremely awful.

Allow me to explain something first. Ive never eaten inside the restaurant, Ive only used them for take out. Asian cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines and Ive frequented several Asian restaurants over the years, including places actually in Asia. I must say Bai Tong is one of the very best Asian restaurants Ive experienced. First their customer service. When I call for an order, I must admit sometimes one of the ladies has a little bit of trouble understanding what I want in a custom order. Yet Im always surprised how quickly my order is completed. The fried rice here will have you coming back frequently its the very best Ive ever had.

Easily the worst customer service and deceptive billing. If i could give negative stars for this place, I would totally give it. I travel for work and have seen service at many restaurants and this is easily the worst. Billing is whole another issue - To add a automatic gratuity towards my bill, they counted my 3 month old (who doesnt eat any solid food) as a person in my party and charged 18%. When I asked why, I was told thats how it works in Bai Tong- they only count the heads, doesnt matter if its a month old or 1 day old. Pretty lame for a legitimate business! Never stepping foot again at this place.

I went to bai tong for lunch. I got the red curry. Tina was the bartender. She took my order and money all i saw of tina. The support stuff brought my food to me and refilled my water. The support staff was awesome. The curry had good flover. I didnt know that rice for curry was an extra charge. I got charge 1.50 for about half a cup of white rice. Never been charge for rice with curry before. The sever did not inform me about the charge for rice. That made my enjoyable just an okay meal. Dont know if i will go back.

We were seated immediately at around 4pm on a Sunday. Water was poured as we sat down, and a waitress was right behind. Our order was taken the moment we put down our menus, and we were served a phenomenal meal shortly after. Water was refreshed in a timely manner, our empty dishes were collected as soon as we pushed them away, and our bill was presented and processed right away. All very friendly without making us feel rushed. Bai Tong did everything exactly perfect! Id recommend them or go back in a heartbeat.

Definitely a go-to for casual Thai food. Theyre dishes are slightly on the pricey side compared to most Thai restaurants in that theyre served in smaller portions. However their flavors are good and very consistent. Their service is also very good. The Highlands location gets pretty busy so for groups I would definitely call ahead, but often Ill just get take out or eat at the bar and their very attentive, if a bit disorganized at times. Its a great weekday/weekend option.

Cant think of a better place for Thai food in Seattle other than Bai Tong. Although the one near South Center Mall seems to offer a tad more generous portion than the Issaquah branch. If you dont know what do order, their chicken wrap is yum yum. Phad See Ew, crab fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and phad thai are all our favorites. Their coconut cake is made in-house and very good. To my knowledge, it is only available at the Issaquah branch.

First, I am asain,...and I know my Thai food. Big, fancy decor, modern place wiht a bar area. I liked it. The food was good, nice presentation. My biggest negative is that they charged too much for rice! It should come with the meal! Prices are reasonable but give me a break, rice should be free. $75 for 3 entrees, drinks for 3? I will pass on this place...not worth it.

This restaurant is beautifully designed, but the staff seemed a little clueless. I waited about 20 minutes before anyone even came to take my order. My order did not come as expected, as this restaurant should be considered "fusion" rather than authentic. Chances are that I would rather visit Similian or Noodle Boat rather than this restaurant - both located in Issaquah.

Food is a tad too sweet and too oily and inconsistent. To-go servings are smaller than dining in especially for dinner orders. Seafood has a fishy smell and taste after ordering seafood Tom yum soup on different occasions and seafood Pad Woon Sen. Told the waitress but she told me chef didnt find any fishy smell and taste. And that was that. No apologies.

Nothing was good. I keep telling my wife that we must have hit it on an off day, because so many people like it and I like their other locations. But it was so bad that we have not managed to make ourselves go back in months. The other two Thai restaurants in Issaquah are great - so we just go there.

Bai Tong is gross. I have been there a few times and am always disappointed. I ordered Pad Thai and Pad See Yeu last night and they were both WAY overcooked and super greasy. The location is nice, but the food is not good. Go to Noodle Boat if you want good Thai food in Issaquah.

I and my wife have enjoyed eating Thai food here for some time. We were happy to try this place. The food is delicious and spicy, just to our liking. The service is superb. We were treated warmly by the staff here that I have to commend them for their excellent service.

Consistently good Thai food with predictable spiciness. Quick service for takeout, and a comfortable dine-in experience. The wait staff is great, especially Ale and Prima who have really made an effort to get to know my wife and I and make our experience special each time.

Best Thai food Ive ever had and excellent customer service! The red curry salmon is my favorite hands down. Ive never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The wait time can be long on Friday and Saturday nights so making reservations may be a good idea.

4.5 stars currently here on google - really? The food is adequate. The prices are good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. That said its really not THAT good. I mean if you go in thinking strip mall Thai food you wont be dissapointed.
