Perhaps Im being a little too critical giving an all-you-can-eat buffet two stars. After all, they arent normally known to be world class eateries. And as a general rule of thumb, if youre paying twelve dollars for unlimited grub... Chances are that the quality and/or atmosphere might be somewhat suspect. China Sun Buffet checks all the usual boxes in terms of what youd expect. Shadey location off of a busy highway? Check. Worn down building exterior with chipped paint? Check. Dilapidated interior seating with funky smells? Double check. From the time I walked into the building until I departed the establishment, I maybe shared two full sentences with the staff. Thats not to say that they rude, because they werent. The just seemed... preoccupied. The food itself was pretty bland, although there was a large variety to choose from. One of my gripes was that there was zero selections on spices to add flavor. So to wrap it up, if youre looking to stuff your face with subpar Asian food, China Sun Buffet checks out. Just dont expect too much out of it. And after everything is said and done, be prepared to feel a little on the disappointed side.

My sister and I have came a few times here food is ok but cheap this last time we went we ate and then went to the bathroom while I was in the stall my sister talked to me standing by the sink a waitress came in the same time as we did she used the bathroom flushed the toilet and just left.... we were disgusted the woman serves our drinks and didnt even stop a second to wash her hands after peeing. We went to the front desk area to complain and that lady made up the excuse she "probably" went and washed her hands in the kitchen... even more gross. We definitely wont go back and have shared our story with all of our friends and family who were just as disgusted as us. Im sorry but that is absolutely unexceptable in any restaurant as I know my family has owned a few before retirement.

Came here when we lived in town, years ago. Came a few times for the ambience, but the food was just so so. Now, years later, were back in town, and have tried the New Cina Sun the only thing thats new is the quality of the food. It was excellent! Ambience still as good as before, helpful friendly staff whos not pushy but very efficient, variety of food, all still as excellent as before. If I had given this place a review befor it would have been 3.5 or four stars. Now its easily a 5. Hold up- the wife just came back from paying the bill and now Im trying to find more stars to give it.

I DO love this place however they have 1 serious problem. They hoard the Crab Legs. Ive been to many Chinese Buffets which have crab legs but ive never seen a place hold out on crab legs like this one. People complain but they dont care. They will put out like 10 -15 an hour if that. Its very annoying ... otherwise i would give them 5 stars. The shrimp is better and bigger at empire buffet but the overall food here is the best. I hope they fix the Crab Leg issue soon. And sometimes a few of the staff can be rude but no more than other restaurants.

Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised by this place. We came around 6:30 during the dinner rush. They kept the food stocked, including the crab legs; which I was surprised how good the quality was. Our waitress was very sweet, so sweet and helpful that I made sure to leave a great tip. Desert table didnt have a ton of options, but had the essentials. The dinner price was $12.95 per person, and Ive paid way more than that with less quality at other buffets. I enjoyed this place and will be back!

The food is good but the service is horrible, its all you can eat but when you try to keep eating the crab legs the lady bringing out the food refuses to bring more food out. I asked all the waitresses to ask her as well because she was ignoring me ad finally after 20 minutes of asking she brought a hand full out. Very rude and if they dont want people eating all you can eat then they need to change the restaurant. Defiantly will not be returning there again.

Large variety of pretty good entrees, very fun to try out new things since most of it is good. Grill for meats was a cool addition I have not seen in any other buffet, but the meat when cooked was a little overcooked and tough to eat. 4 stars because of that and the slight unkempt mess at the dessert section of the buffet. Was there for a bit over an hour and the ice cream area was not cleaned the entire time. Still, worth the price, you get what you paid for

Absolutly gross, as my family and I tried to enjoy dinner.... After almost finishing dinner I looked up and saw black mold on the corners and by the vents the molding was bumping up from the wall, paint was chipping away... Then my husband proceeded to tell me that he found a dead fly in the onions...then said okay I killed.....I said first of all why didnt you tell me and now this black mold this place is gross, moldy and unsanitary

I usually LOVE this place... but have you ever had the "One" bad experience that ruins a place for you? Went here at 830pm, which is 2hours before they closed. They just let the items run down to nothing. So if someone ate an item you wanted, you were outta luck and had to wait like 20min! I was in a large party "bs"ing. My favorite thing, the fish, is what I wanted... outta the 1.5hour we were there, I got 2 pieces! Sucks now....

Food was very mediocre. There was either a ton of oil or it was very soggy. The "grill" they had was basically like making your own chow mein. They were already serving pre-made chow mein as a food selection, but we decided to make our own with just beef and broccoli. It was not tasty at all and it was rather quite salty. Also, the service was not excellent. We never had our water re-filled and we were there for almost an hour.

Altgough their Sushi bar was pretty good is impossible for me to give this restaurant a good rating after finding a bug in my food. After the incident they did not even have the courtesy to say sorry or give me a discount on our meal. After closer look I noticed it was dirty on top of the staff not speaking very good English. To conclude, I will not be returning to this place.

Lots of fresh food to choose from. Outside looks rough but we were sent by a family friend and once we got inside I felt a lot better about it. I am from the east coast and Chinese food I believe is solid there, I had the same feeling with this place. All of the employees appeared clean and were attentive. I went at noon on Sunday and it was a good time to go.

I do like the food, only two thing. Every time I go there the food is not to temperature. There are food laws that state the temperature of foods and this place does not follow these rules. My wife had a bug in her watermelon. I will not go back until they follow the law. I dont know if they realize getting sued for food poisoning will shut them down.
