HORRIBLE LOW CLASS FOOD Rude Service,Fatty, Grissely and Tasteless and no fortune cookie. There is More: It has been 2 years since Ive been to the Wok because I moved. Was in the area recently and thought to try it out as I had had a good opinion of it in the past. WOW! was I wrong. Firstly I was met with Ill be there in a minute. Ok I understand but this woman was totally rude from the beginning. I began to turn heel and leave but thought to stick it out and have a meal. I ordered and went to pay for the meal I was going to have for here. The woman took my money and then ORDERED me to sit in a certain table out in the middle of the traffic. (She kept my change for quite some time as she dinked around) I was NOT given a receipt but rather handed the change. This seemed strange too. It was a table for 2 but I wanted to sit out of the way in a larger table. I complied so as to not raise her ire even higher. There were only 6 patrons in the seating area. My food came in a timely manner and was named: Mongolian Beef. It was horrid from the first chew. Now this is gross but I tried to chew at least 6 pieces and to no avail. This beef must have been the lowest possible quality to be named beef. I had to leave the attempts on the plate. I then decided to try the rice. It was so so. My consesus is: This place is a skin flint operation where they try to save every cent possible. Even the toothpicks are in bulk and not sanitary. The woman did not want me to pay ahead of time at the till as she was expecting a TIP. Now I usually tip 20% or more but I feel this place owed me a big refund for rude service and pathetic horrible food. Just Awful. Crazy while I was chewing I was thinking just how good a Big Mac would have tasted for 1/3 the cost. During my whole meal the waitress and another woman spoke Oriental jabber. Now I would not usually care but they were really IN your face. When I drove out of the center I saw the sign for Mongolian Grill. I was regretful that I did not chooseI to go there as Mongolian has high quality food. They do not use fat and grissel. Never ever go to the Wok twice. If you do then get your teeth sharpened and use a lot of soy sauce to add flavor. Youve been warned.

I edited my review. I will comment ton CHICKEN TERIYAKI ONLY. Do not go late afternoon. Its almost always guaranteed to be bad teriyaki. One night they even gave me a raw teriyaki to go. I wont forget that taste. Do not order chicken breasts. They taste horrible. Only during busy hrs like from 11am to 5pm is when its safe to order and be relatively happy with what you eat. Solution: Take time to cook. 5 minutes not gonna do it. Take 7-8 or even 10 but give me well prepared meal. Stop using CHEAP chicken. Its the chicken that ruins every good ingredient you put on the plate with it. Chicken is stringy and has lots of tendons, even when i order chicken breasts, its still stringy and chewy like regular chicken. Recommendation: Because you save money buying cheap chicken, you can afford to put allot of chicken on the plate. Instead, buy better quality chicken and put less on the plate. This will make people feel good after eating it and they gonna want to order more to go. I knew one place where teriyaki was so good, i would eat 5 days straight, and on saturday, i would come before they close afternoon and order one togo for sunday. So i would eat teroyaki 7 days none stop. IT WAS THAT GOOD. They had quality chicken without strings (hardly any) or chewiness and slime in it. It was very clean chicken and well cooked etc. Pieces were cut small and placed on a plate very nice in MUCH LESS amount then at this place, but it tasted much much better and cost $1 more. I would pay you $10 for order, but i dont think you have the meat for it.

Well trying to place an order, another customer walked in and the lady yelled over me to him here or to go? He said to go and she started taking his order, even though I was still standing there to place my order. When she was done taking his order and got back to mine she was still rude. I ordered 2 of the family meals and she informed me that I was ordering to much food. I then informed her that I know how much food I was ordering and it was fine to please just place my order. So I paid and she said 20 minutes. I was fine with that, until it was 30 minutes past that time and I still had not received my order. She said it was because she needed to know if I wanted "A" or "B" (cant remember the choices). Why she had to wait 50 minutes for me to come back up instead of walking over to me and asking I dont understand. So after a total of 70 minutes to get my order that I was told would be ready in 20 minutes. The service is less than horrible and the food was the reason I gave them the one star.

I have ordered take-out and have also dined in. The portions are HUGE but depending on what dish you choose a lot of that could be filler veggies (not uncommon in most teriyaki joints). On take out the lady at the register almost always gives me a big to go container of soup (no charge) and is very polite. Compared to other places in the harbor this is your best bet without a drive to Port Orchard or across the bridge into Tacoma. Note to management: Thanks for the free egg drop soup.

This had to be one of my worst teriyaki experiences Ive ever had. I had ordered tonkatsu and sweet and sour pork to go as I was in a hurry coming home late from work. The food was absolutely disgusting! The kastu had obviously been sitting out, as it was cold, rock hard, and translucent with grease. The sweet and sour pork was also cold and waxy. Yuk! I cant believe they would serve that food to anyone. They really must be trying to cheap out by serving old food. Never again!

Asked about the special by door honey chicken, had very few minutes to read menu, server asked for order. I asked what was in another dish, (spicy stir fry) she said "I already told you!". Seemed bothered someone walked in the empty place. Sorry! Thought you would want new customers! One time customer in this case. No one likes rushed employes who would rather be somewhere else.

Best teryaki! Theres an extra zip to their sauce that puts it a cut above the rest. If your a pork eater, only do it for dinner. It seemed to me that the cuts I got for the lunch special were much fattier than the delicious dinner portion I got the week before.
