So I know people look at my two star rating and wonder if I was just having a bad night well thats not the case. My family is a total of 9 members so we were all ready to eat. When the cost came up to $145 I was like thats absurd because 7 of us was adults and 2 was little toddlers. We were told 90 bucks was going to be the total so thats why we were so disappointed. So I end up paying for all of us and was thinking well its all you can eat. Its true it is all you can.... eat all you want right... Well thats true in all but the food here is nasty and disgusting. All Country Buffet at this one and Federal Way 320th have my taste buds feeling as if they were tortured. The chicken was undercooked the meatloaf was undercooked. My salmon was overcooked and the macaroni was soupy. I can continue to go on and on but at the end of the day the food here was very dissatisfying. I wish the Old Country Buffet in Kent was still open at least their food tasted scrumptious. The only thing that made our day better was the employees cleaning the tables. It was my first and last time eating at the Old Country Buffet in Federal Way Washington. Steer clear my eaters steer clear!

I attended a baby shower at this Old Country Buffet in one of the banquet rooms. I paid $13.63 for the dinner buffet that was being served starting at 11:30 a.m., but after looking at the food lost the little appetite I had in the first place, so I went right back and asked for a refund. The cashier said the managers were both outside, and shed come get me when they came back. An hour and a half later, no one had ever gotten me and I still had not eaten anything, so on my way out, I again asked for a refund. The manager was abrupt and rude and soundly refused to give me my money back, even though I hadnt eaten anything. He said I could stay and eat now. Yeah, that made a lot of sense, since I was on my way out the door and didnt want their lousy food anyway. I was there for the baby shower. I felt totally robbed. Basically, if you want any form of good customer service, dont go to Old Country Buffet. Instead of treating me like a human being and acknowledging Id made a mistake in ever paying for the buffet in the first place, I was made to feel stupid, like I was trying to cheat THEM instead of it being the other way around.

Ate here on Saturday November 2015. I probably will not be returning again. Reason 1 restroom facilities dirty. Reason 2 food was awful. Runny potatoes, chicken swming in grease, reason three expensive. I paid $18.00 for the dinner buffet. My companion wasnt impressed . The six ounce glasses were a joke. If I hadnt had a free dinner coupon I would have not eaten here. Also there were no spoons. Desserts were plain and boring, the hot fudge thin and tasteless. Save yourself money and do not eat here. Called a few days after and spoke with the manager. She sounded like she was really disappointed with the food and the service. Said she would send me her business card and a letter for two free meals at any old county buffet. Its been at least two weeks since my call, I have yeat to receive anything. Im not holding my breath. Please do not even consider eating here.update I never received anything from the manager so I will not be visiting this place in the near future. I may avoid all old country buffets.

We had the worst experience ever. We had a family get together today and my parent-in law go there before us. They went in and paid. We called them from outside and my brother who was with them came to get us with the receipt in his hand. When we walked in, a woman who was standing next to the cashier pointed the finger at us and said, "you see what Im talking about, you see what Im talking about" as if we stole something. I asked her what she was talking about and she said Im the general manager here and you cant just walk in here. My brother showed her the receipt and told her this is my family. Even after seeing the receipt she kept yelling and I want to know how can a general manager of a business approach customers with that kind of attitude? Had it not for my parent in law, I wouldve walked out of there. No one from my family or friends will ever go back to this place. That was totally unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous that a general manager would behave like that. I hope they make it right!

Went to Old Country Buffet on May 1, 2014 for lunch. We walked in and upon greeting at the service desk the waitress/hostess seemed to be in a rush (there were maximum 15 people in the restaurant). She didnt ask for military identification. Now weve been to this location a handful of times all during dinner and it has always been good. Today showed a big change during lunch hours. Got up and got my plate and all of the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours. I got a slice of pizza, a piece of corn bread, some chicken alfredo and a corn dog. The pizza and the corn dog was hard, the alfredo and the corn bread were covered in oil. Only took a bite of pizza and left the rest of the food on the table. My husband got the fixings for tacos and when he put his hamburger on the fork to add it to a tortilla the oil started seeping off of it. We paid a little over $20 for nothing.

At first everything seemed OK, then we noticed a few things. Employees are quick to use the hand washing sink but only to do a quick wash of dishes. Those dishes would be quickly dried off with paper. In the time sitting next to the hand sink(45 min), I only noticed one employee wash their hands, well gloves that were left on. The employees are constantly wiping the counter tops but do not change their gloves before grabbing the food items they stock. Not all members including the managers even wore gloves. When we got to the drinks, several glasses had a milky ring around the inside so getting a clean glass became a challenge. The oranges look like they have been squeezed already. In general the food was stocked but me being someone that like rare meats, the only meat that was rare was the chicken. #wahelthdept #lowstandards

Lets just say if it werent for the drinks and desserts I would give this a 1 star. I usually lean in the favor of wherever I am that Im giving a review on. The drinks and desserts were just about all that kept us from walking out. We, my family of 5, tried just about everything. If it wasnt dried out, it was soggy. Thankfully, the fried chicken and instant potatoes and corn on the cobb was good enough to eat. Though, it wasnt very satisfying when looking at all the different types of food we wanted to eat. It was dand near a thorough disappointment. This may have been just a fluke moment that I came in with my family which is also why I give a 3 star. I usually post pictures but I was too upset to feel up to it. I hope others have a better experience.
