We went to Avocados for a late lunch and ordered off the dinner menu this week. First off we were greeted by a friendly host who gave us a choice of the bar or the dining room, we selected the dining room. Heres what we thought of Avocados on our first visit: - The service was pretty good. The waiter did keep an eye on us, although my iced tea didnt get refilled (I wouldnt have had it refilled, but usually a server will ask). Wasnt the best service, but it was acceptable. The wait staff was visible and I could have easily grabbed one of them if there had been a real problem. - The salsa is also fairly good. Their "pico" salsa (chunky) really has little to no flavor at all. But their other standard salsa was pretty good. The chips were not stale, and were slightly warm - good in my book. - We ordered the guacamole as an appetizer. It was a complete joke. The guac that was consistently used in our meal, from the appetizer to the dollop on our burrito was the commercial kind you get in plastic bags. It was not fresh at all, and didnt taste that great to either of us. We found it so ironic given the name of the place that they were using this processed stuff everywhere. - I asked the waiter to customize my order to make it vegetarian, and it came out correct. It also tasted good. No problems here. - The place was clean. And bathrooms were clean. Overall we had a fairly average lunch. The place was a nice spot for lunch, although after we finished the meal we felt it was probably behind our other two favorite Mex places in the Lynnwood/Everett area. I would have no reservation going back, but probably not as often as I frequent the other places.

I suggest ordering the “TRIO” Care Asada, Chicken Asada, Bacon wrapped shrimp with rice & beans! It’s a large plate of food that could feed two!! Avocados has the best Care Asada around so I just ask for two servings of the Care Asada instead of the Chicken Asada, yep the steak is that good! The restaurant is by far the most clean & organized restaurant in Everett!! The staff is always polite, outgoing and professional! Lots to choose from off the menu, it especially comes in handy when you have picky kids in the family. Something for everyone to order to eat and enjoy. They have a DJ and dancing in the bar on the weekends but it gets so packed that there is hardly any room to dance and even harder to get to the bar and order a drink. I wish they would incorporate the larger section of the restaurant during the DJ and dancing nights so people could actually enjoy themselves instead of getting squished and sweaty in the small section near the bar. Other than that I think it’s a great restaurant and I 100% recommend eating here. You won’t regret it.

We had a horrible experience wth this restaurant. We went there about a three weeks ago and enjoyed it. However, we went back on April 28th and was met with smirky, sloppy service, plus the food was not made appropriately and was told it was the cook! Whats up with that? I threw up my food and no one asked if I was all right. The next day we called the owner and he said he would look into it. We had to call back and the owner, Miquel, said he would not refund our money and believed we had not told the truth. The employees were doing acrobats in the lobby and were perturbed I interrupted them to let them know I had regurgitated my food. We are savvy, and enjoy eating out. We are not out to out a restaurant purely by experience. The food was terrible, the service was adbominable and the owner non responsive. Dont go there on a week day, you will be sorely disappointed. If not the weekend as well!

If a Mexican restaurant has mediocre to bad salsa its a good indication youre going to have mediocre to bad food. Likewise, if the salsa is of just the right heat, texture, and consistency you can usually safely bet that the food will be just as good. Im not sure if Avocados defies that rule. The group I visited with was fairly large (seven people) so perhaps it was just my dish that got stuck waiting on the others? I dont know. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals so perhaps so. As much as it displeased me to have to eat a soggy chimichanga, I didnt hate my meal enough to never visit again so Ill give it another shot with a smaller crowd next time.

My folks live close to this place and they are crazy about it, but Im not quite so impressed. The food is pretty good but they charge you for every little thing , stuff that most mexican places include . They charged us (a party of six) for the one extra basket of chips we requested , kinda lame when we spent over $100 on dinner and drinks. They server asked if we wanted Pico Degayo for our chips, making it sound like it was included , and then it showed up on our bill for $4.99 ! Misleading trickery that probably works 99.9 % of the time , and I hate that kind of thing. On the upside they do have really good Carne Asada .

Unbelievable over an hr. We finally left. We were seated right away as there was NO WAIT and order taken. Watched 2 other tables get served that came in AFTER us. They were served, and paid their bill while we were still waiting for our food to arrive! Asked for manager, 10 min and nothing so we left! They were not busy when we got there either, again no one was waiting. Oh well, free margarita and chips. Wont be going back. Called after I got home and the manager said no one told him we asked to speak to him and when I explained what happened he told me I WAS RUDE! Would give NO STARS!!!

The reviews for this place were a bit dated. My wife and I decided to leave a good review based on the food. Service was prompt and accurate and the food was great! Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. I was impressed with the flavor in the meat, tasted as though it has been marinated for some time. Their enchiladas were a good balance of sauce and cheese and a good portion of meat.

The best taco bowls. Probably better than even ones from Mexico. Currently, this is the best Mexican restaurant in America, at least thats what people have told me. Wonderful people, the best people in the world. They dont just fry their beans once, But go in a second time to get refried! Who even does this? Avocados Mexican restaurant is going to make taco bowls great again!

This is one of my favourite restaurants, and is definitely my favourite for Mexican food. Avocados has so much more to offer than just the run of the mill tacos, Spanish rice, and refried beans that every other clone-like Mexican restaurant is stuck serving; I mean, come on, they have freaking avocado ice cream! (And its delicious!) Try their mole! Try everything! Its all amazing!

When a friend asked me out for dinner I was excited since I had heard such great things bout this place. I wasnt impressed at all. Food was average, service wasnt bad. But holy moly the price of their drinks our outlandish. I ordered 2 mojitos, and just about crapped my pants when the bill for just the two drinks was $20 . I will not return
