This place is great! The prices are cheaper than most Mexican chain restaurants, and the food is much better! I always seem to get the Enchilada Verdes with chicken, it is my favorite dish, and the Enchilada Mole is also great! Their Pollo A La Crema is my mothers favorite! I think basically most dishes come with beans and rice, and this place has the best rice I have ever eaten at a Mexican Restaurant! For lunch they give you a punch card, and after so many visits you get a free lunch dish. When going for dinner there is a lady who grills tortillas at the door, and she will take a fresh grilled tortilla, spread butter and freshly made green salsa on it and wrap it for you with wax paper to eat while you are seated and they are fantastic, and free! She has a tip jar though and its very worth tipping for. All around great place, and the refried beans and salsa they give you with chips when seated is also, of course, GREAT! Oh and also, even when they are busy, the food comes out rather quickly, and they never seem to forget a customer as we are always asked for refills and asked how things are going periodically throughout our visits. If it stays like this, I will be coming back for a long time.

My husband and I ate here tonight for our anniversary--we had read the reviews in American Towns and it sounded awesome and our expectations were definitely exceeded! We ate in the bar, because we wanted to, and the margaritas are wonderful--homemade--no mixes here! No mix headaches--and the selections of tequila were outstanding! They greet you with a homemade tortilla made in front of you and stuffed with yummy stuff. We brought 4 of them home to our baby- sitter. The bartender, Arturo, is not only an outstanding host but efficient and so friendly--this was definitely a night to remember. Their shredded beef needs no sour cream or guacamole added--it stands alone--awesome and the pico de guilo (spelling??) is so fresh and yummy as well as the salsa and homemade chips. Definitely worth every cent. We got 20% off our bill from American Towns web site and it was totally honored plus the free tortillas for our babysitter. Highly recommend. Cannot believe anyone would feel disappointed here--hard to believe.

El Paraiso has the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. They have attentive and friendly waitstaff, fresh homemade butter and salsa tortillas as you walk in the door (after 5 p.m.), and a carry-out option if you choose to order then eat at home. The management are very accommodating. Some examples of great service: 1. Manager made a special tortilla and chicken broth for my 1-year-old son and I didnt even have to ask. 2. They dont take checks, but my bank card wouldnt work one day so they made an exception (I also come in there a lot). 3. The waitresses play with my son every time we come in and he is so happy while we are there. 4. The staff recognize us when we come in and make us feel at home. 5. I have a few special requests due to food intolerances and not once have my orders been wrong. Whoever gave the crappy review, you need to give them another chance.

Honestly Ive tried plenty of mexican food and this place was the worst. Went in to have a family meal. Seemed nice. Bright and colorful and fresh tortillas by the front door. The drinks werent made that great. My dad ordered a michelada and it was watery. He ordered another and that one was the same. My mom got her food and found a hair in it. And the waitress took her plate but didnt seem sympathetic at all. The manager was working and not once did he come over and apoligize for the inconvenience. So the waitress brought her another plate and my mom took it to go. The next day shes eating her leftovers and found ANOTHER hair in it. Im not joking. We wont be returning. If you decide to go i hope your experience will be far better than the service we got.

Vegetarians beware! This was my favorite Mexican restaurant I ate here fairly regularly. Every time I order food I order it without meat. The last time I ate here I ordered both of my dishes without meat. After my meal was finished I overheard a vegan at the table over ask what doesnt have meat and was informed that ALL of the rice has chicken stock. I politely told my server that I had ordered my food without meat because I dont eat meat including chicken. I also said that I wasnt upset at him but he needs to tell people in the future who order their food without meat that there is chicken stock in the rice. He argued with me and was rude to me! I have always liked El Paraiso, but I will not be returning.

Excellent food, service, and drinks! The food is always tasty and the portions are pretty big, if a bit heavy. A great place to go when you have a big appetite. The drinks are excellent (my girlfriend and I love the Top Shelf Margaritas!). One nice touch is the woman who makes fresh corn tortillas right at the entrance. She butters them up and puts some salsa in them, and will hand them to you as you are seated. These are free (although there is a tip box next to the grill). El Paraiso can get busy on weekends during prime dinner times, and during evenings when there are events at the Everett Events Center (such as hockey games, concerts, etc.), but the wait times are, at most, about 15-20 minutes.

Honestly, the bean dip along with the chips and salsa they served is really good but the food itself leaves a lot to be desired from your taste buds. When I went in there I was really excited because the decore reminded me of the region of Mexico that my apa is from in Guadalajara, Jalisco. They were also playing music from my childhood like Los Bukis, Joan Sebastian, Lupita DAlessio among others. Unfortunately the service from the waiters was a bit cold and not very attentive either. Oh, and their fried ice cream is a joke. The bater is all wrong and really tasted like mashed up Kellogs cereal. The Corona with lime I ordered made good to wash the bad taste out of my mouth.

MMM el paraiso. Im a vegetarian, and never have a problem finding delicious food here. Its mine and everyone who I drag heres favorite mexican restaurant. The service is always really nice, good atmosphere, a separate bar. I get a full large combo plate with chips and salsa and beans for about $10. Im pretty picky about service, and I have to say, this place is perfect, every time. Its the only place Ill go for mexican anymore, because everything else in the area is just not as good.

They have great food. Large to small combo plates. Food was the best I have found in downtown area. Have another great dinner. You have to ask and try the tortillas. They are to die for. I had so much on my plate I could not finish. But I am just getting old. Love the food. Waitress was great. Will be going back. Next time I will take pictures. Love it there. You have to ask for the home made hot sause of you like good hot food. It was great. That is if you like hot food.
