This place is amazing, Reva the cook they are great people its because of them that I and my family go there one to two times a week they have great great food Its such a amazing place we travel from cascade park Vancouver Washington to go there great staff, Reva is the one that brings us back every time . I used to work for the cougar bar and grill, as well as live in cougar for the summer and had a blast. scott, the cook rocks the kitchen and dave, manager is awesome. I loved working for these folks and Nikki and Lyndsey the bartenders/servers rock too. good folks, good food and just good times. I recommend anyone that wants some hometown cookin and a stiff drink on their way through cougar stop by.

The food tasted decent (especially after hiking Mt. Saint Helens) but our waitress (Janessa) was clueless. She shrugged her shoulders when asked if their taco meat that comes on the nachos was gluten free or contained any wheat. After ordering a burger and asking her if it could be cooked medium-rare, she said maybe. Unfortunately, she had no ambition to satisfy the people she was waiting on.

Stopped in here today with visitor from AZ. Food was great. Service was excellent and performed by Brooke, who was just fantastic. Place was clean, kitchen guy was so sweet, great food (French dip, burger and a veggie burger for the AZ chick, fries were super freshly cooked and perfectly seasoned... Onion rings the same. A great little diner in a quiet, friendly town. We really enjoyed it.

Great food and great atmosphere. We had several different burgers and chicken strips in our party, and everything was done perfectly. Lots of flavor, the best french fries and onion rings, and large portions. Well be back!

Nice stopping point on some good motorcycle roads north of Battle Ground. The food was good and plenty of it. Mountain themed with its close proximity to the Mt. St Hellens national park and the Ape Caves.

They have the best Halibut fish and chips in Southern Washington! Good enough to drive an hour to have once a week. :) The remodeling of the bar is looking grteat as well. Cooks and Bartenders are awesome!

Large portions and that only matters with good food.... This is good food. The Halibut is excellent. Cant go wrong and prices are fair considering where you are at and the size and quality of your plate.

Fine. A lot of food was not available. Staff was really slow. Forgot silverware and had to track em down. A bit on the pricey side for what you get. But still the best place in town.

Ive been to philly, and the phillies in philly dont even compare to cougar bar and grill. Go get some fly-fishin done on lake merrill, and stop in after for some grub and a cold one

Perfect roadside bar for a couple drinks and burgers. The staff was friendly with each other and all patrons. Definitely made us feel at home! Chili had some serious heat.
