So disappointed in this place and I dont know if I will ever come back... I know Ill never look at their company in the same way and I certainly wont have good things to say about them to people I know... I get there in the morning and the place is fairly busy... actually nice to see as I had always liked their breakfasts... Two people in back of the counter: one at the register and one making sandwiches. The person at condiments was missing. The sandwich person made my sandwich and I grabbed some chips. The line was getting long so the register person kept yelling into the back "ANTONIO!, ANTONIO!", whom was suppose to be at condiments... He was a no show. After a couple minutes still, the register person yells "ANTONIO! ANTONIO!.. Still no sign. Two minutes later, register person goes to back (I imagine to kick Antonio into gear)... I was in no rush, mind you. I could have waited but he still needed to be at his post as there were other people waiting ahead of me. A couple minutes more and Antonio takes his condiment station... He looks dishevelled and irate (probably from getting called to work). He obviously shows an attitude to the customers who were in front of me... I get up to the condiments station and he asks "Whatll you have"... I thought he meant in way of condiments so I said "Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo..." Then he makes an outburst to me, "NO!.. WHAT KIND OF SANDWICH DID YOU HAVE!"... Actually yelled enough that the sandwich person was shocked too... I was so embarrassed and angry that I just walked out and tossed the chips at the register person who saw the incident as well. I imagine it caught the attention of every customer in the place. I can totally understand when someone has a bad day, but there was no excuse for this... My money isnt so precious that I cant spend it elsewhere and I chose to do so... Ive never wished firing on anyone, but Antonio does not deserve to work for them... and they dont deserve my patronage... simple as that.

I loved when the store first opened , and have been there many times over the years. 1 star is because today when I went to pay for my lunch, I was asked for $10.47. When I told him I had $10.45, I was told "$10.47". When asked about the give a penny, take a penny EVERYONE else does, Im told that it is not store policy. Then having to break a $10, refusing to take the pennies in change telling him to leave them on the counter. Also noticing the shake received didnt have the 2 little cookies that used to come on the straw, asking if this was a change in policy, pluses to the gentleman for offering a regular cookie, that I didnt want, and give me 4 little ones Also when I arrived at the lunch rush I signed into a game that had an update to download over wi-fi. Signing on to the stores I waited on line to pay. Service was so slow that the 5.2 MB download loaded the entire time waiting and eating, just as it reaches 5.0 MB and I was finishing lunch, and error occurred that disconnected the update. Not a pleasurable experience, which has never been the case in my numerous visits to your store.

I was also in the restaurant at the time of Marks complaint. It was clear to me that each employee was simply doing their job to keep the line moving. Although it does seem a bit chaotic and noisy sometimes, the employees have NEVER yelled at a customer. I have always received excellent service and find the employees all very friendly. Antonio, who was working the dress station, did not yell at anyone - that is a falsification. In fact everyone working, and in line, seemed kind of confused when that customer, Im assuming Mark, walked out without a word. I have honestly never been a fan of corporate chains, but I honestly feel that Potbelly has a terrific, friendly and hardworking staff.

Restaurant was extremely loud and chaotic, when we approached the counter where it instructed us to order our sandwiches we were completely ignored until we moved up the line and found someone else to assist. Meat on sandwich was almost non-existent. Taste was nothing special, will most definitely pass them up for Jimmy Johns, Subway, Quiznos, or any of the other far better sandwich shops. And whats with advertising "on any given day at any given potbelly, you can be treated to some live music" not this given day at this given potbelly.

I have always loved Potbelly having grown up in the Midwest. I was so happy to see them come to downtown Seattle. The sandwiches have fresh ingredients and are made to order. The lines are long, but their order taking system works great to move the crowd along. The milkshakes are amazing, just be careful, as they are high in calories. The Wreck is my fave. They even have some really tasty vegetarian options. Their employees are always having fun in there. I like that! The delivery people are really cool too. Personality goes a long way!

I am appalled to find out that this establishment recently refused to allow SPD officers use their facilities even after SPD had purchased food. This amazes me, and although you have the right to do so, why would you? I will make sure to let all my friends, relatives and fellow Law Enforcement that you prefer they not spend their hard earned money inside your establishment and that you dont care to do any type of business with them. Its sad that your establishment discriminates.

Absolutely awesome sandwich joint. Hands down, one of my new, favorite places to eat in the area. The shop itself looks awesome, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is unbelievably friendly. Most importantly, the sandwiches are out of this world, especially considering the low prices! I got "a Wreck" sandwich there, and will definitely going back to get another one in the future.

Unlike other sub shops, Potbelly Sandwich Shop do not hold back on the meat. This is my first time at this establishment and to a Potbellys and Im sold. The staff here are friendly and professional. The Dream Bar cookie is to die for!!!! The location is close to various stores to shop, which is very convenient to grab a bite to eat while out and about. Enjoy!

Very fast and friendly- but the sandwich (tuna salad in my case) was REALLY REALLY skimpy and bland. My friend got the chicken salad sandwich and it was the same. Probably 2 tablespoons of meet on the entire thing. The bread tasted like subway bread. About a dollar and a half less than Specialties, but you get way less substance. I wont be going back.

Its always been reasonably good. Sometimes during busy weekday lunch hour they mistake items you requested to be on your sandwich, which I never make a fuss about since time is short during lunch and the place is packed. I was once even handed a meaty sandwich while I am vegetarian.

Long line during lunch, but service was fast. I had a sandwich called "a wreck". It came toasted and was really good. I also had a coffee flavored milkshake. It was was creamy and smooth. The best milkshake Ive had - no spoon required!!!

My favorite sandwich shop ever was Quiznos, and this place is identical to them! So glad I found them! Every time I visit the NW or NE I stop in for a sandwich. The staff was really friendly and is centrally located.
