Looking for restaurant that has a pretty diverse tasty menu that will satisfy your entire partys dietary requirements at a reasonable price? Mozzarella Di Bufala is your place. We come here to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. Yesterday, we had Mothers Day dinner in Di Bufalas party room yesterday with my family of 13. We ordered 3 salads (Bay Shrimp Salad, Spinach Bacon Salad, Caesar Salad), 2 orders of steamed mussels in a Marinara sauce with 2 baskets of french fries, 1 order of Meat Ravioli with Marinara sauce, 2 orders of toasted garlic bread, 2 of their famous cornmeal crusted 14 inch pizzas (Italian and Di Bufalas) and 1 thin crust 16 inch pizza (gooey Di Bufalas) with a Chicken Marsala dinner for a low carb, high protein eater. We drank pitchers of root beer and diet Coke. We sat in Di Bufalas Party Room for 30 which was pretty much ours for the first 2 hrs which was really nice. During Friday and Saturday nights Di Bufala does not take reservations for the Party Room. First come first serve. So, we came for dinner at 4:30 pm. Service was attentive. Time flew by. They would come back and check in with us throughout the 3 hrs we were there. Di Bufala was "ok" with us bringing in our Mothers Day cake for dessert and served our cake on a pizza stand. They provided us with plates, dessert forks and a pie cutting server as we topped off with their coffees or hot teas. Metered street parking till 6 pm. Lucky to find metered parking quickly because it can be really difficult to find parking in West Portal during the weekends.

Pretty good mixture menu of Brazilian and Italian. Atmosphere, pretty nice and cozy but brightly lit so you can read your menu. Sadly we were seated next to the storage closet and the employees kept running in and out getting supplies. Service, the waitress was really nice. My friend tried to order a dish and didnt want to say the name because he didnt want to butcher the language. But she said be brave and try it. She told him how to say it and he tried. She came by at good intervals to check on us and was very personable. Food, I had the Italian mini pizza, it was really good. Surprisingly I loved the artichokes on the pizza more than anything else and Im usually the one picking off sausage and eating them. It had a good kick to the pizza. I brought home two slices, and my father ate it and loved it. He usually doesnt comment on pizza at all. I think he would of enjoyed it if I brought home a bigger pizza though. He had to ask me if the 2nd piece was for my mother. I said yes. So he left it at that.

Terrible. Sign says they offer slices but I dont see any when I walk in. Theyre made to order, ready in ten minutes. Which is really missing the whole point of a slice, which is, you walk in, point, , they heat it in the oven for as long as it takes you to pay, put it on a plate and youre on your way. Foolishly i order two slices, margherita, ask for it well done, not much cheese. What I get is a travesty. I know before i open the box I its terrible. It weighs about 8 pounds, at least 7 pounds more than it should. Its a wet steaming mess. the consistency of overcooked lasagna. The place is called mozzarella to buffela. Thats offensive. Change the name at least. if youre gonna serve this cheeze, slop it on nachos and call it what it is.

Disappointed that they decided today that Im outside their delivery zone after getting delivery from there at least 10 times the past 6 months. The place is only 2 miles away and the guy on the phone was kind of rude. Said, "oh it looks like youre outside our delivery zone, we cant deliver to you." As if he doesnt know they deliver to me all the time. No apology, no nothing. Just "too busy tonight. The foods pretty good, but nothing great. Tasty, but not very authentic or original..a typical run of the mill pizza joint.

Sure you can order your pizza here if you like. Sure it has its own unique flavor. But why would you pay SO much for pizza... its still just pizza. Do yourself a favor, and call up Goat Hill Pizza next door (however the Goat Hill in West Portal is mainly a takeout joint). The good thing about this place though is the service is friendly (albiet a little slow), and usually ample seatings, even for larger parties. But if youre doing take out, Goat Hill (across the street!) is the way to go.

Ive been ordering pizza from MDB for just over three years. The food is always hot when delivered and they make a pretty good think crust pizza (purists may disagree). I find the people there pleasant to deal with. They have online ordering, which Ive been using for at least two years without any problem (easy for the simple re-order). I cant speak to the rest of their menu (I just order the pizza) and Im not a pizza connaisseur by any means, but I like this place.

Love the pizzas, love the bread sticks, love the additional Brazilian menu and love the great customer service. Yes, you could go down the road and get your pizza at Goat Hill, but unlike Goat Hill West Portal, Mozzarella as maintained great taste and quality of food. I would rather spend a bit more and love what I eat. Just me!

My favorite pizza place in the city. Their cornmeal crust is the best thing around. The largest they offer the cornmeal is a Medium sized pizza, which is fine for a few people, but for a family its not enough. We usually get it to go because its kind of chilly in the restaurant.

The food is great! The staff are all excellent, and friendly, and nice people! Yay! The food is also excellent. The vino is a little overpriced compared to Uncle Vitos downtown, but Uncle Vitos is a 15 minute train ride, and 10 minute walk away.

Italians from Brazil= perfect combination! Try the Brazilian dishes. Theyll amaze you. Pizzas are great. They are careful with gluten free requests. Be careful. Casual, noisy, affordable, Street parking, located on 3 MUNI train lines.

They have really good and delicious pizza. But I was in love more with their calzone. It was soft, cheesy, and very warm. Honestly, I became a fan after my first try. They make it very fresh and everything tastes delicious!

Good food, non-existent service. The worst was the waitress who spend the whole evening talking to nobody but her friends at one table. Saw one dude get up and pick up a box for himself because nobody would stop by.

Our new favorite! Kid friendly with patient and attentive service. Pizzas are delicious but the corn meal crust one is a step above everyone else. Generally easy parking, and right next to the movie theater.

The consensus is that its decent. I live in the area, so Ive stopped by a couple of times. If u NEED pizza, look around b4 settling here. I cant comment on their Brazilian food however as Ive not tried it.
