what a great hidden gem in the west portal area. its on Claremont so slightly out of the way, but thank goodness for that because all the other restaurants are always jam packed. we ordered: spring rolls (I recommend passing on these, nothing special) jerky - amazing with a great sauce, most distinctive of the appetizers calamari - very good also chicken wings - had a sweeter sauce lettuce wrap - had a nice ginger flavor, light, not greasy mains panang curry - clean taste, good quality beef, large portions Prince curry - has a nice kick with a unique flavor pad Thai - fine noodles, light on the fish sauce which we prefer duck volcano - mostly a veggie dish with some duck, so dont order if your expecting a duck dish service has been friendly and very attentive. highly recommend!

Friendly family-run establishment. They off food Thai standards and are pretty quick. They also have a brisk take out business. Good, friendly service. Any time I have been there mid-day it has not been crowded.
