Green Lantern treats visiting 68 yr old disabled Vietnam vet with disrespect! And also stole my money! Here is my true story: After buying my friend and I a drink and meeting the seemingly nice bartender, my friend asked if I wanted to go out back to have a smoke, adding we can take our drinks out there. By the time I put my cash and wallet away, my friend was no where to be found.. I then proceeded to find the smoking area and went out the door. Then a lady, and I use that term lightly, grabbed my full drink and ran, not walked ,inside and poured it down the sink! .When we found the owner and told her what happened, she said the waitress women told her I was mixing the drink in the car where i walked to get my cigarettes.. This WAS A FLAT OUT LIE! When asked if I could get my $7.50 drink back,,, or at the very least my money back she rudely said , and I quote, " NO ! I smell alcohol on your breath and you guys have to leave " It was early morning and I had two sips of my drink before it was tossed, My friend did finish his $7.50 drink. This was our first beverage of the day! I am from Las Vegas Nevada so I have to ask" Is this how you treat tourists in Washington? " Rather then call for a boycott of this rude business, I encourage people to stop in and ask them If they are trying hurt the area s tourism? My wife and I are not from the area, but both enjoy finding the "dive bars" where ever we go, and the Green Lantern did not disappoint. We were told to try this place out for breakfast after talking to some people in Ocean Shores, but didnt make it until lunch time. I had the chicken bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The menu did not explain it came on toasted garlic bread... I was pleasantly surprised. My wife got a hamburger and it was one of those great burgers you can only get at good taverns. We also got there for their "geezer pool tournament" as explained by one of the blue haired locals. We were quickly surrounded by some great people in their 70s and up! The outside looks a bit run down, but the inside is actually quite clean and warm. Its a definite must visit if youre passing through.

We went in for ribs on Sat night. I dont appreciate my drinks being delivered to me up against our servers sweatshirt the first time, then she never came back and asked if we wished refills, we had to call out her name as she passed by, second time drinks were deluged against her t-shirt. The rib are to be served after 4 pm. We ordered our dinner about 4:05 and we know the kitchen is small, but out salads were not delivered until 4:45, and dinner about ten minutes later. Well say the wait was worth it as the ribs were delicious. But serve a little to be desired. Her name is Danielle. The restaurant was not very busy, but if the servers didnt know your name, then forget about them caring for you. Sorry for this negative review, but we felt it needed to be addressed Becky VanCura

I think this is a good place but Im still unsure if it was worth it. The specials were good, I ordered the ribs for $13. The meat was delicious but not as ribs. It would have been better as traditional pulled pork. The BLT was no joke, 10 strips of thick bacon. The service was good. It definitely felt like the local spot. There was games to play so if you have a party this would be a good spot.

I have been here several times when we visit the ocean and love the place. We like pool and shuffleboard, and the board level actually changes with the tide. The regulars help give you tips in the best possible way. What a hoot, especially after a beer or two! People are friendly, food is good and I cant recommend enough.

Been there twice. Friendly staff, good food. Cant drink alcohol due to meds so enjoyed their coffee - black, no sugar or cream. Love the view of the river & the birds & more that visit there. TVs, pool, shuffle board plus plenty of atmosphere. Worth the travel there

Our servers were excellent and we had fun playing shuffleboard! But Im only giving 3 stars because our food wasnt that great. The seafood combo could have used another minute in the fryer for sure, but the fries were good. The best thing was the garlic bread.

Beer selection and prices are great, otherwise.. typical very limited bar fare, greasy, cheap and possibly your only option in the area. Wouldnt necessarily recommend it, but if youre desperate for lunch, or a brew or down with the 60+ crowd.. itll do.

There are so few restaurants and places to eat near Pacific Beach. The prices have to be higher to pay the rent, so the Green Lantern fills a gap. Food was good, plentiful , and reasonably priced. Worth the 15 jaunt from pac beach to get there.

A great place to gather with friends and make some new ones!! Fun and entertaining pub with friendly staff and lots to do including table shuffleboard, pool, pull tabs and more! A must see and stop next time you're in the area!

If you are staying at the ocean you need to stop here...Super nice people and awesome food....I had the ribs and they where the BEST I have ever had..and my wifes burger was a old school good burger.you wont be disappointed.

I love their Friday prime rib. Its always prepared just the way I asked for it and the price is good. Beer selection is good too. I look forward to visiting when its warmer so we can sit outside.

It is a grate place to go and kick back and have some fun playing scuffle board play pool and cant forget bingo night and eat some grate good talk to some nice people and the staff are awsome
