Im not sure if people in Bothell dont know what good Mexican food is or what but this is not the place. Myself and some co-workers went here for lunch, my recommendation based on the glowing reviews here. First off, it was a beautiful day and they wouldnt let us sit outside, but then seated other people out there almost immediately afterwards. Okay, not a big deal, but it got worse. I ordered the carne asada, which was OKAY, nothing to write home about as the other reviews would suggest. They then forgot my guacamole and the taco shells came out about 5 minutes after the food. How hard is it to time this properly? It just felt like we constantly had to ask for the most basic of service, and our server was neither fun or fantastic as other reviews would imply. One of my colleagues ordered huevos rancheros with egg so undercooked it was running CLEAR, seriously! Im surprised he was able to finish the day without constant bathroom breaks of the explosive persuasion. He didnt say anything because he is too nice but if it were me I wouldnt have paid for it. Other colleague got a taco salad, which to no surprise was also lackluster. No evidence of thought or care could be seen on anyones plate. Ive had mexican food from all over the greater Seattle area and this place is definitely one of the worst, and definitely has the largest difference in review rating vs. actual experience I have ever encountered. Maybe we just got the half-ass lunch service, I dont know, but Ill never go back. Go to El Tapatio in Newcastle sometime, it will shame this place to the nth degree.

This is my "GO TO" for Mexican Food. Not only is the food very tasty, but the service is very friendly and prompt. I have never had to wait to ask for anything... they are a very attentive staff. When you walk in - they greet you like you are a long time friend. I really like that! You not only get chips and salsa while you are waiting, but they also bring Pico de Gallo too and theirs is a great flavor with great spiciness. Everything I have tried there has been very good, always hot and it does not take very long to get your food... and hey if you do have to wait a little bit, have more chips, salsa and pico de gallo! I highly recommend!

The food is pretty okay. It was better than average, but not amazing by any means (like some people here are saying). I ordered something that was stated to be spicy, it turned out very mild the sautéed chicken that my father had ordered was bland. The salsa and guacamole was AMAZING. Even though the prices are relatively high, you are given A LOT of food, so it evens out to being pretty affordable. I would give it 3 stars but I am giving 4 because how good the service was.

Love this place and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming and even if we havent been in over a year if I show up without my daughter or husband they will ask about them specifically!! Have no idea how they can remember even after so much time! But when they do see my daughter they get her a Shirley Temple extra cherries before we can even ask for one! Food is amazing and prices are good and large enough portions for lunch next dat

My favorite restaurant in Bothell! Love the enchiladas, but my favorite thing is hands down are the Tacos AL Pastor. Amazing. Always lovely service - the owners and fantastic and our favorite waitress stops to say hello to our family even when we arent in her section. My son unknowingly left his phone there once and had no idea where he left if. We came back a week or two later and she had put it aside for him. So wonderful!!!

We really enjoyed the food and it was served timely. The thing that really frustrated us was that every time customers finished and left an employee would use this little, but loud vacuum. It was so noise and irritating. Also, we were still eating (8:00ish) and they started cleaning. The smell of bleach was overwhelming. I really like the atmosphere, but due to the vacuum and bleach I wont be dinning there again.

Wow, we go out to dinner once a month with 9 other people and it was my turn to pick! Viva did not disappoint, this place was not your cookie cutter Mexican restaurant, authentic great tasting food. My 6 year old daughter even said, her enchilada was they best she had. The service was awesome, and they worked hard to please us. I hope this place does well, because it was a little small and it was filled up!

Fantastic place, the food is great and I love their pico de gallo (made with cabbage which adds a great crunchy texture and flavor). The biggest issue is that the parking lot is small, in the evening you seem to be able to part in the self storage lot right next to it, but it can still get pretty packed pretty fast. Great place for lunch though, or an evening out during the week.

I usually go once a week. They have amazing food. I love their tostadas and Chile rellanos. My mom favors their tamales. We have always had great service and been treated wonderfully. I highly recommend this place. They are a smaller restaurant as far as seating, so be ware that during lunch and dinner rushes you may have to wait. Well worth it in my book.

Jaliscos has the some of the best Mexican food in Western WA, (which isnt great, but good enough) and of all the Jaliscos restaurants, the Bothell location has the best food and service. The Bothell owners are friendly, good cooks, willing to make special order items if you describe exactly what you want, and food is served fast, especially at lunch.

Food was awesome. Has both vegetarian and non- vegetarian options. Not suitable for Vegans. Has seating capacity of around 100. Located near Bothell Everett highway. Prices are reasonable and vary from 10-16 dollars per dish. Service is good. Order generally comes in around 10 minute. They provide complimentary salsa and chips. Opens till 10 pm.

Came by this restaurant with a coworker for a weekday evening dinner. We arrived around 6 pm and they had plenty of space available. The service was extremely friendly, which I appreciated. The food came out very quickly and tasted great. The experience definitely exceeded my expectations -- Ill go back when Im visiting this area again.

Excellent food and excellent service. We were treated like family and had a great time. My wife ate her entire meal (which almost never happens). It was good enough that we made a second trip just a couple of days after our first. Great find via Google. Ill be making this one of my stops every time I travel through Washington.

The food and service is most excellent. The restaurant is undergoing a facelift an expansion right now. Will be great when it is finished. The owners are involved in daily operations and a pleasure to talk with. The staff is always very courteous and responsive to each customers needs. I highly recommend Viva Jalisco.

Food was okay. Service was poor...She dropped off my Carne Asada and never saw her again until it was time to pay. She was too busy on her phone in the other room. Slow time of day should be a little bit more attentive. I could have used a Jalapeño or hell a refill on my tea...
