Good ramen. Great service. Awesome mazesoba. An instant favorite. **Edit: I cant stop coming here. I owe it a bigger review. This place has the atmosphere I had been looking for in a ramen place. Its small, super friendly, and just feels like "that ramen place my friends and I always go to." Its not flashy in any way, which makes it all the better when the ramen comes out. This is it. The best ramen Ive had ever. I questioned myself at first, but after how badly I kept craving it after my first visit, Ive come to accept it. Ive tried everything on their menu at this point so I feel like I can give some pointers: 1. My favorite ramen goes to the Spicy Miso. 2. If youve never had Mazesoba, this is THE place to get it. Its like cheesy brothless ramen and they have instructions on how to eat it like a pro at the table. 3. Pay attention to the music while youre there. If you are into anime or video games at all, youre likely to recognize some of the tunes. 4. Get a stamp card when you pay, because youll keep wanting to go back.

This small place has a decent selection of different ramen types to choose from, ranging from the traditional shouyu ramen to spicy miso ramen. I had their special ramen and it came with pork, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The pork itself is stiff and doesnt quite melt in your mouth. There was a lot of bean sprouts and green onions which covered the top, while the noodles are the thicker variety. I would say the ramen is a 3/5, about average, but not as good as other places Ive been to. Looking back at the menu, the tonkotsu ramen may have been the better choice. The chicken kaarage had too much breading, but otherwise, it was good. On the plus side, the waitress was nice and the checks were split between my group without us saying anything, so that was a nice gesture. I was say this place is more of a 3.5, but Ill round it up as 4. Not a bad place if you want to try a new ramen place.

This place doesnt have the options, fame, locations, hipster cred, decor, or anything else any other ramen shops in the Seattle area have (aside from ramen, obviously). What it DOES have is a no-frills, Nagoya-style ramen-centric experience. if you remain unconvinced, its the only shop Ive seen with a poster of ramen styles on the wall, and ramen magazines on display... which you could read if you get bored, except you wont, because its ramen and comes quickly. its also the only ramen shop Ive seen where you can get delicious seasoned fries as a side. I dunno if its the ultimate super best ramen in Seattle, but its the most focused, in addition to being delicious. dont skip it.

Inconsistent. Seems like Sun Ramen noodles. So good flavor and texture. BUT the speed of how quick your food comes out and topping portions are significantly varied day to day regardless of how busy. Have eaten there about 20 times in last 3 months. Had extreme over cooked noodles today, and still had to pay full price when I ate less than two bites. (I gave it a second taste before I sent it back.) I felt like i should pay for my drink and not pay for the meal. After a brief conversation they decided to lose me as a customer (who theyd seen 4 times in last two weeks) rather than not get their $11 for my uneaten bowl.

I had the pork tonkotsu with no bamboo and 1 egg. The broth was flavorful, but didnt remind me of pork. Decent, but not memorable. The soft boiled egg was done perfectly. My only suggestion is to cut it in half when serving. Its awkward biting a whole egg in half or whole for that matter. The pork slices were tasty, but super thin and few. It left me wanting more. The seaweed was really flavorful. Seems rare with most ramen shops. The service was good. Got the food pretty fast and they check on us often, but not the annoying amount. Overall pretty good. I look forward to see how they improve and would come again.

We got rapidly seated as a group of 4 in less than 30 seconds on a Saturday night, which was a huge plus. The food also came out very quickly, and the servers were friendly and polite. The only real con is that the Chashu Ramen was less satisfying than similar ramen at other restaurants - only a single slice of chashu pork, the broth wasnt very rich, and way too many pieces of seaweed (I got 7 or 8 pieces in my bowl).

This ramen noodle house is absolutely off the chains. The broth perfectly done. Noodles cooked to perfection not soggy. Boiled egg cooked to perfection. I wish they had one closer to where I live I live in Tacoma. Did the hour drive from a friends referral. Worth the drive! I will be back!

Maybe it was just the day I went, but if this was ramen, they left out the flavor packet. The soup that I had was COMPLETELY devoid of taste. I was thankful that there were green onions in there, as that proved to me that I hadnt had a stroke.

Pretty decent ramen, comparing to other local places the chashu was the best here, super thick cut and really flavorful. Portion sizes seemed large, lots of noodles and true to Japanese ramen, the broth was super hot to slurp.

Been here twice. Ramen was decent, I like their mazesoba more. Portions are good. I come here for the chicken karaage. I think they have the best chicken karaage.

Very small for a $12 regular size bowl, better off going to Kuki Ramen just up the road by walmart or any pho place where $12 gets you literally 4x the food.
