Went to The Mill Creek Pub on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago, for the first time. It was wonderful! I have to say I have been in restaurant business my whole life, so I know what I am talking about. Were warmly greeted, and escorted to a nice booth. Place was hopping, and lively. Sat in restaurant area which I could tell it is very kid friendly and family oriented. Had a awesome server named Heather,, If I were you Id ask for her and tip her Big! They have full bar, lots of beers on tap, with some great Special drinks, and patio seating. Oh, I forgot to say owner has an extensive list of Bourban !! We started with 2 huge warm salted pretzels, with a jalapeno cheese that will knock your socks off! I had clam chowder, while my wife had the fresh berry salad. She has not stopped talking about it since... She had the stuffed chicken, with apricwts and goat cheese, topped with a lovely cream sauce. Chicken dont get much better! I had the best mac-n-cheese Ive ever had, topped with slices of mr top sirloin. You have multiple choices of toppings. Looks like dessert menu is good, but we could not eat half our dinner, so had pass. There are so many great sounding things on menu,,, lunch, brunch, happy hour,,early or late,,,,desserts, I will be back often. It is also right beside cinema, whats better than drinks, food, and movie? I understand this place is also owned by a member of our community, which has given back! How great is that!

Went into town on July 13th for family dinner. Chose Mill Creek Pub as we have usually had good luck with service and food. Down side is they seem to be catering more to families who let their kids run while and disrupt your dinner. We chose to sit in the bar. Candace was our server. She brought us menus and took drink orders. She was not friendly at all, but we overlooked it. Drinks came, and then she proceeded to help everyone else ignoring us. She walked by our table every time but never stopped. Even helped people that sat down after us. Eventually came and took food order. When our food arrived, my order was was all wrong, husbands food was missing items, and our sons dinner plate was warm, but food was very cold. We would have told Candace but she never came back to our table, we gave up after awhile of not being able to track anyone down. She eventually showed up to bring us our bill. The entire time we had our food she continued to walk by our table ignoring us. We could not get out of there fast enough. Ended up giving food to the animals and stopping somewhere else in town for food. This place is going downhill. Tried to contact manager about issues, believing that if they dont know there is an issue, they cant fix it. Never have received any reply back.

My spouse and I have been customers of Mill Creek since its beginning in Battle Ground. The quality of the food, and selection of irems on the menu are still rated decently. However, the last 4 or 5 times for dinner, the "wait times" to be seated have been exceptionally long. I guess we can be happy that your restaurant is doing well for patronage, but, quite frankly 30 + minutes wait time is becoming more than we want to do. Also, just this evening, we met another couple for dinner. Something we all had been looking forward to, to share an evening . We were put at a table next to a large group of people that had been drinking and were so horribly loud that it was obnoxious. Needless to say, our evening was not very enjoyable. We couldnt even hear one another in conversation. Therefore, Mill Creek in future will not be a place that we will choose for a nice dinner out with friends. Too chaotic. Sincerely The Wood Family

We went to the Mill Creek Pub for the first time a week or so ago. When you hear the word "Pub" it can conjure up some ideas on what to expect in the way of atmosphere and food quality. But from the moment we entered we knew those ideas were unfounded. The restaurant looks great. There is a gigantic working water wheel right in the center of the room and plenty of open seating. The food was really good as well. I personally had the fish and chips and it was great. Its always a question mark as to quality when you see that, but the fish tasted fresh and it came with homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce. Good stuff! If I had to pick one thing to critique it would be that we waited a bit longer to get our food, but our waitress kept us informed and they were extremely busy at the time. Overall, it was a great experience.

Dined at Mill Creek Pub at least half a dozen times over the last year, including a mothers day brunch, happy hours for beer and burgers, and several dinners. The food has been excellent each time, the beer selection is huge focusing on northwest microbrews, the service is very good and the owner comes around to make sure everything is cool and this pushes the service rating up to excellent. Dinners from barbeque chicken to meatloaf to seasonal salmon to the usual pub fare, reasonably priced and consistently tasty. Big screens to keep you up to date on the game and the giant operating mill wheel in the middle of the pub gives it the character youd expect with the name. Highly recommend.

Great food quality for a reasonable price. Excellent unique hand crafted flavors. I frequent this place several times a week and every time Im loving it. The Macaroni and Cheese is way better than the supposed famous Mac n Cheese at the Screen Door in PDX -- just had to make that statement. The Mac N Cheese at the Screen Door was just a basic cheddar sauce recipe and came out a little dry, which did not hold a candle to Mill Creeks sauce which was a blend of many finer cheeses with grated Parmesan on top. Its a must try! Best restaurant in Battle Ground in my opinion.

Wife and I dropped by for a quick bite aka time away from the kids. love the mac&cheese with bacon. Sat down at the bar (not a side table), placed drink order at 6:01, and could not regain the bartenders attention until after 6:30?!? Ordered, ate, and left. I get she was busy, however management should have recognized the same and supported or consider staffing a second bartender to fill house orders and another to tend the bar area. We werent the only ones to notice. One guy left in a huff and the two who took up his space where commenting on the same.

Waited 20 to be seated which isnt bad for a Friday night but they have jammed way too many tables in here. We had to skirt the room to reach the table and disturb another diner by asking him to excuse us to reach our seats. Waited another 25 without so much as a water and watched two sets of customers seated after us served. We got up and left after the better part of an hour stopping by the greeters desk to let them know we were dissatisfied. They said sorry and let us walk out the door. It was late at that point and the evening was kind of ruined.
