The Waldo Kids !
MY FAMILY AND I JUST GOT HOME FROM OUR VISIT AT THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!!! I WAS CRAVING MEXICAN FOOD AND THOUGHT OF THIS PLACE AND I HAD MY WIFE AND 3CHILDREN WITH ME. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE WERE SEATED IMMEDIATELY AND OUR WAITER GREETED US WITH GREAT FRIENDLINESS AND A SMILE BUT AS WE BEGAN TO ORDER THE ATTITUDE AND IRRITATION FROM OUR WAITER BEGAN TO COME OUT. WE ORDERED WATER (MY WIFE AND I) AND FOR THE KIDS (4YRS OLD AND 22MONTH OLD TWINS) A PINEAPPLE SODA TO SHARE. WHEN HE CAME BACK WITH THE DRINKS, IT SEEMED AS IF WE WERE WASTING HIS TIME, I ORDERED A CHICKEN BURRITO, MY WIFE ORDERED 1 KIDS MEAL TO SPLIT BETWEEN THE CHILDREN. WHEN THE FOOD CAME BARELY ANY WORDS WERE SPOKEN AND WE WERENT ASKED IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING, OR ENJOY YOUR MEALS. THEN THE KICKER CAME WHEN I ASKED FOR MORE CHIPS, THE WAITER (A DIFFERENT MAN) REPEATED BACK TO ME "MORE CHIPS" AND I REPLIED "YES PLEASE". SO THE WAITER WALKED AWAY, WENT AND STOOD BY THE CASHIER DESK, LEANED AGAINST THE WALL AND EXCHANGED A FEW WORDS TO HIS CO-WORKERS. SO MY WIFE ASKED ME IF HE WAS GETTING OUR CHIPS AND I ASSUMED SO BUT ALL SHE SAW WAS HIM HANGING AROUND NOT DOING MUCH, SO I CALLED HIM OVER AND ASKED HIM ABOUT THE CHIPS I ASKED FOR AS HE BROUGHT ME MORE SALSA AND HE TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A 2 BASKET LIMIT PER TABLE, ANYTHING MORE, THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE. SO I ASKED HIM, WHY DIDNT HE TELL ME THAT WHEN I FIRST ASKED HIM ABOUT THE CHIPS AND HIS RESPONSE WAS I HAD TO ASK YOUR SERVER HOW MANY BASKETS HAD YOU ALREADY HAD(THERE WERE 2 EMPTY BASKETS ON THE TABLE) WE HAD BEEN THERE LESS THAN 20MIN. I REALIZED AND WHAT MY WIFE(A FORMER SERVER) EXPLAINED TO ME IS THAT WE DIDNT ORDER MUCH AND THEY ASSUMED WE WERE GOING TO SIT THERE AND EAT CHIPS AND SALSA AND LEAVE A CHEAP TIP. WELL, ITS VERY UNFORTUNATE THATS THE IMPRESSION A FAMILY GIVES WHEN THEY COME INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, SO NEEDLES TO SAY WE WILL NEVER COME BACK. AND JUST TO CONCLUDE I WAS TOLD THAT I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING, WHEN WE DECIDED TO LEAVE, THAT WASNT EVER MY GOAL...I JUST WANT MY FAMILY TO BE TREATED WITH SOME RESPECT AND DIGINITY AND NOT MADE TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND LOOKED AT AS A FAMILY TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR FREE...I LEFT $20 AND WE LEFT.

When coming in as a party of three, we were seated right away; we chose to sit inside. Our drink order was taken and we ordered the sampler appetizer. The appetizer came out seemingly in three minutes. It was very quick, and that is when I realized the quesadillas were delicious. Next we ordered our meals which arrived in a reasonable time and everyone was happy with the quality of the food. I was a fan of having a "build your own entree" option. This was my first time visiting and I wanted to try a variety of options. I had a taco, enchilada, and the quesadilla. Only criticism I would have of the food was the taco beef was a little lacking in the seasoning department. I will definitely be going back to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and interacting well with all the patrons. I cant wait to head back there soon and see them again.

Family oriented. Friendly staff awesome food. I havent eaten something I havent liked. I read these reviews. I havent tried the wings but everything on the Mexican said of things is awesome. I have been eating here since they opened.The other negative review was a family. First a 16 oz drink will not make it through 3 kids. I have 2 a 5 yr old n 3 yr old and they both finish most of their food. So I am not sure why this guy would order ONE kids meal for 3 kids. Thats crazy. The staff has never given me attitude even when my kid is screaming or can sit still. Matter of fact they run around and its a relaxed environment. If your on a budget with 3 kids try a regular meal like pick 3 items and order extra plate of rice. The meal is 2.00 more. Why be stingy with kids? Hungry thirsty kids would make me irritated too. Geesh

Restaurant was nice and clean and had music playing throughout our meal. Outdoor seating is available if you wish. Food was good and served insanely fast. They brought out our sons kids meal first and we had our fajitas out before we even finished feeding him. They provide commentary chips and salsa along with a bean dip. They even went and provided a free scoop of ice cream for our son. My wife and I ordered a slice of their mango cheese cake which was amazing. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for Mexican food.

Fantastic food--always amazingly friendly, fast service. I travel past all of the other "Mexican" establishments in Fredericksburg to go here. Carnitas are delicious-- huge, flavorful chucks of pork and fresh lettuce, pico and onion! My son always asks to go here when he is home from college. Plenty to eat and a fun, festive atmosphere. Definitely try the outdoor seating too--great place to relax and enjoy margaritas, beer and tasty, reasonably priced Mexican food. Youll leave full and happy!

The food was delicious! The server didnt make me feel bad when I ordered my salad without peppers or my cheese sauce without cilantro ( i know why go to a Mexican restaurant right? Answer: I love all things cheese related) but I was so happy by the quick service, they brought out my 4 year olds food as soon as it was ready, which believe me I wish all places did. He gets restless...And when ours came out not long after... IT...WAS...DELICIOUS.

Ive driven by this place dozens of times on my way to Fredericksburg and just recently decided to stop by. I love mexican and this place is pretty darn good. My favorite is they deliver a bowl of bean dip to your table along with the salsa. You have to try it - Ive never seen it anywhere else. Staff is very friendly, clean bathrooms and tables, fairly inexpensive, and tasty food. Worth the stop off of I-95 or Rt 1.

This was our first visit, and we had the most authentic Mexican food Ive had in a very long time in this area. The food was awesome, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The portions are ample, and the flavors are delicious. This is worth the trip from Stafford, and the guys at the table next to us were here from Manassas... Check it out!

We were on a road trip, got hungry and decided to stop by because the reviews, and from all the Mexican restaurants I been, this can be at the top list. We got our order pretty quick, which scared me for a second, but it tasted everything taste delicious and fresh. Not too oily, perfect cooked. I called in an order for pick-up so I didnt deal with the staff much but from the little I did guy was very friendly and polite. the food was amazing and one of the up side about eating at a mexican restaurant is the chips and salsa which i did not expect to get with an order to go but opened my bag and there they were. highly recommended this place
