Ichibans is the ONLY restaurant in the area that I have given a 5 STAR rating! Definately my favorite of the Japanese Hibachi style restaurants. The food and service is great. And in my opion the sauces are better than the other local Japanese restaurants. I have been a regular at this restuarant for about 5 years and I have never gotten anything I didnt like. The steak, shrimp, chicken, lobster, chicken livers, vegetables are all wonderful. I have never eaten the sushi so I cant comment on that. Im not a fan of eating at a table with strangers but the food is worth it!

This SUSHI is unexpected amazingly GREAT and the BEST SUSHI we had ever tried. Bruce (the sushi chef) treated us like friends, he was so enthusiastic explaining us all about his creations. He even made up a special cocktail with octopus and then with tuna. We recommended 100% this hidden and secretly kept sushi restaurant. This sushi in ICHIBAN is even better than the most expensive and exclusive sushi restaurants we have tried in Tampa, NYC, Miami, Washington DC, Las Vegas and Sydney (Australia).

When I first came to Winchester, I thought Id never find good sushi. But Im so glad I found Ichiban! Their sushi is flat out delicious, and coming from someone whos had the best sushi that Northern VA has to offer, thats quite a compliment. I love biting into their tuna nigiri--so satisfying. And their specialty rolls are amazing! Ive always had the best service too, fast and polite, for which I am happy to leave a nice tip.

This place is awesome. Not at all the whole in the wall someone described it as. The food was amazing, I got the shrimp and steak. The fried rice was some of the best I have ever had, and I dont usually like rice at all. Our chef gave an awesome performance. We were amazed and cracking up with laughter almost the entire time he was out there. Plus, I am from the DC area and no restaurant this style is ever so inexpensive.

I went here tonight and had one of the best eating experiences. Our server was named Daniel. Daniel thought my granddaughter was the "the shrimp catching champion" and bought her a piece of cheese cake himself. By the why the cheesecake was really good. Daniel could carry on really good conversations. If I were you and you came here I would request Daniel as your Sheff.

Ive only been here once for a birthday party with a large group of people and I felt like we had to wait for a long time. The thing I like most about this place is that it has ginseng up drinks and I cant find them anywhere else really and theyre really good so I want to go back just to buy ginseng up drinks :)

Absolutely amazing awesome service awesome show on the Hibachi Grill good times visiting from Pennsylvania. So this was a treat for me my wife and 3 and half yr old son definitely will be back on our next visit to Winchester

Ichiban is the best of the best when it comes to a Japanese steakhouse and sushi bar. The sushi is fresh, the cooking is fantastic, service is fast. There are simply not anough good things that can be said about Ichiban.

Definitely not worth the 50.00 I was charged for one person to eat Hibachi.... Overcharges for scallops 3.xx per... shrimp was overcooked and scallops were burnt.. wont come back here..

Fried rice had corn in it so not my favorite but steak cooked amazingly! Sushi was very fresh and good. Casual wear. Very nice and good service. Mochi ice cream was delicious.

Best Sushi in the Winchester Area. One of the best suchis ive had between Maryland and Virginia!!!! I love the service, and the taste of their sushi.!!! Again, Its AMAZING!!!

I have eaten both at the sushi bar and the Hibachi grill, both are highly recommended. Both the chefs and waitresses are nice and enjoy conversing with them.
