Well well well, the food network said this place has the best of the best pancakes in Virginia Beach. (2002) I SAY NOT, or that is not to say much for pancakes in VB. The pancakes that I had this morning was heavy, dense, & dry, not even Dennys quality to me. The WAFFLES are much much better. The cooks didnt know how to do a very soft scrambled egg. I had the #3 sampler 2 eggs, 2 bacon 2 sausage, a half waffle, and 2 pancakes for about $10 now this is a bargain meal deal great value, but trust me DONT DO THE PANCAKES EVER! The server was nice. The decor was basic and needs a little updating in my opinion, unless theyre trying to keep that same old charm. They have lots of omelet options that I cant comment on but there are plenty of different items on the menu. The restaurant is very busy but moves at a good pace. I WILL try this place again because the waffle was good. BUT ANOTHER THING THAT MAKES ME ANGRY IS the fact that they and other restaurants charge extra if you order egg whites, WHAT IS THAT, just take out the yolks with a spoon. Not egg beaters. I THINK THAT BLOWS!!!

Wish I could say my experience was as amazing as all these other people. We were told our wait would be only 15 minutes, but that turned into 45 for only the two of us. Our waitress ignored us most of the time, but was really attentive to the table right next to me within elbow room! Never asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. We waited almost 10 minutes after eating for her to even bring the bill. I would have understood if she was helping more than three tables, but it was just our two tables. Whatever, I just wanted to hit the restroom and leave for our 3 hr trip back... turned out to be a gross experience. There was poop on the backseat. The hostess at the front told me the last time it was cleaned was an hour and a half ago.. even though I understand the entire staff was working hard (except our waitress), its still not pleasant to walk into that after waiting almost an hour to be seated and ignored! The food, however, was what made it worth the patience.

Let me split this into two categories. Food: ***** The food here is great, and probably the best prices along the VB boardwalk. As expected, pretty much none of it is healthy, but the portions are very generous and obviously the pancakes, waffles, and French toast are fabulous. Decor/Atmosphere: *** Three stars is probably generous, but were in a high volume touristy area with not a lot of "class". Colorful paintings are on every wall, with strange depictions of what I assume is supposed to be indigenous peoples and the white settlers who invaded their lands... I mean, came seeking a better life. In a kind of typical 70s fashion, it paints a White Saviour narrative and surrounds you in stereotypical hokey representations of "native culture". Its kind of creepy, but the food is good enough to stick around. Overall, a good, quick place to grab breakfast. Maybe try to grab a seat that faces the window, though.

We decided to try the will known foodery one of the last mornings of our vacation. There was ample parking behind the restaurant and yes upon entering, the place was crowded but we were fortunate enough to only have a 5 minute wait. We were greeted by Dana with a warm, genuine smile and the variety of breakfast dishes offered were amazing. Our food was brought by Costa who was more than amiable with another warm smile and a very gracious attitude. Both Dana and Costa along with the other employees we came across made that trip extremely memorable and suggested t that they actually enjoyed what they did. These are the few Ive encountered that belong in the service industry. They made the short dining experience we had the best of our Virginia Beach vacation. They are the best of hospitality and we will surely be back and suggest them to anyone and everyone traveling through the area. Thank you once again.

My wife and I went here for breakfast at 10am - which seemed like their busy time. The restaurant was packed, people everywhere. They did have a place in the back where you could wait for your table but we were shoulder to shoulder with other guests. They told us it would be a 20 minute wait and we ended up waiting 5 which was nice. The tables are very close together and we ended up talking with and sharing ketchup and syrup with the people next to us. The service was pretty fast for how many people were in there.Quick to refill coffee and bring us anything we needed. The food was pretty good, they have a great selection of omelets and their specialty seems to be pancakes. We had plain pancakes which WERE delicious. They were very sweet and reminded us of eating a cupcake. If you dont mind a crowded restaurant it was a great place to get breakfast/brunch. Friendly staff.

Ate breakfast here with my 3 kids two mornings. Wait was long (30 min and 45 min), but once you are seated, the service is fast and friendly. They have a lot of workers helping out. This business is a well oiled machine! They offer good size portions. Coffee was excellent. I had Eggs Benedict one morning (it was good) and had a Spinach Omlette the next morning (which was excellent). Their omlette was fluffy like they should be and not over done and crispy like other places might make. My kids loved the waffles. My 10 year old didnt care for their pancakes. In her words they were "cakey". She likes them on the lighter fluffier side. My other 2 (14yr & 12yr) thought they were fine. Everyones taste is different. Prices were cheaper than the $18 breakfast buffet at the Hilton Oceanfront where we were staying. I would come here again.

Greeted by a grumpy host, then lead to a table next to where all the servers were having breakfast. Our server finally got up from her coffee to take our order, she seemed annoyed. Less than half the seats were full. Our food came out nearly as fast as our coffee, and not in a good way. Bacon tasted like it had been made a few days ago and dipped in chemicals. The waffles were stone cold and topped with a scoop of nearly frozen butter, and the waffles themselves had a strange taste. Last but not least the home fries, in my neck of the woods they are square browned potatoes. Here they are a mix of burned potatoe pancakes and mashed potatoes served cold. Save your money and time, if your hotel offers a free buffet it would be best for you to enjoy that.

Worst service ever. I thought I was on a tv show. The head waitresss refused to serve two black gentlemen after not allowing a group of 7 to order separately but table across the dining room were allowed to. Manager charged two upset customers for tea not drank, left because waitress was so evil. Food came out slow and waitress only appeared to deleiver check, no refills or checking on status. Another waitress brought out our food after she served her customers that came in after us. We will never go back because the managment supported the attitude and defended her employee. A culture of dissevice. This occurred during off season, what happens at peak season
