I wasnt all that impressed with this location. I love iHop and when we lived in MD, we ate there regularly. I literally have had my favorite serve at the same iHop for close to 15 years. I love iHop! Anywho, went into this new location today around 2pm. We were seated right away, hostess was nice. We sat down and about 3 minutes later a girl (server) walked up to our table and said, Can I get your drink order? She didnt say hello, how are you, welcome to iHop, nothing. Just can I get your drink order. I thought that was odd. Then another sever came to take our order. Apparently, they were on the middle of a shift change so the drink order girl was just helping out till our server was available. We placed our order. My husband ordered a steak omelet, no hash browns in the omelet. He requested the hash browns be put on the side. The server is writing down the order and she looked confused. So I asked, Is that gonna be ok? You know, putting the hash browns on the side? She said, Yes it should be ok. I just hope the kitchen understands the order. Food took about 20 minutes, a little long for iHop and especially when it wasnt busy. Food came out peice by peice. My hubbys food came out first. Of course the hash browns were on the omelet. Then a few moments later half my order came out. It was my meat, eggs, and hash browns. After a minute or so, I stopped a server to ask them if my French toast were ready. She went in the back and brought out my French toast. Im guessing someone forgot. Server asked if everything was ok, told her about the hash browns. She looked and said, Sorry, do you want them to remake it? At this point, we were just ready to go. So my husband declined. A manager (Im assuming, she never introduced herself), asked us if everything was ok. If the food was good and how was our service. We told her about the hash browns on the omelet and how we told the server we wanted them on the side. The first thing she said was, Yea that omelet comes with hash browns on them. Did you tell your server you wanted it on the side? We both said, Yes we did. She offered to have them remake it. Hubby declined again. He was just ready to go. The good was good though minus those hash browns on that omelet. Needless to say, we arent pressed to go back. It wasnt anything special about our visit that makes us want to come back.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! My fiance and I had a gift card and decided to stop and give IHOP a try. We arrived, and as we were walking in 4 staff members were outback smoking and screaming profanities with their uniforms and name tags on, red flag #1. We then entered the restaurant and noticed it was busy. We were not greeted with a hello, the hosted just stared. I gave her our name and asked how long of a wait, the hostess advised us it would be 15 minutes and we were willing to wait. We were then seated 15 minutes later and our waitress came over to take our drink order. The waitress did not say hello or even mention her name. We waited another 15 minutes for her to return with our drinks and take our food order. We then waited about 40 minutes for our food and when it came out you can tell it was sitting as it was cold. My fiance had ham with his meal that didnt even taste like ham, the hash browns were a mix of raw potatoes and burt potatoes and the waitress never once checked back to see if the food was satisfactory. When we received the bill and we were charged 99 cents for cheese and 5 dollars for a refill each of coffee in which we had to flag down the waitress for 15 minutes to get. The wait staff is rude and unprofessional. The layout of the building is terrible and so cramped and crowded and the place is very dirty for being so new. Overall this was a terrible experience and the waitress didnt even say thank you or ask if there was anything else we needed (we had to grab ketchup from another table because we couldnt find our server). Ihop in york needs to wipe out their staff, including management and start fresh!

My husband and I went a few weeks ago to IHOP at 3 AM, I was excited because I had never been to an IHOP, they werent open even thought they advertised 24 hours. We came back at 6AM, and they still werent open, we waited an hour for them to open, and then everything else that day went fine. But, yesterday morning we went back, I waited for 45 minutes (even though they told me it was a 20 minute wait), as a server myself I understood the kitchen was probably just backed up, and didnt make a big deal out of it. Then, they sat us at a table, and our servers name was Harli, she had a bad attitude and didnt smile once while my visit. As a server, I like to serve others as I would want to be served, no matter what. Once my food came out there was a hair laying across the whipped cream on my French toast. I decided not to complain because I knew it was so busy they would take another 40 minutes to get it back out. I simply didnt eat that part of my meal, as the server brought my check and I paid in cash, I noticed that she took the receipt out of the black book, and didnt give me proper change back. The cash was correct, but I didnt get coins back and I knew I was supposed to. I knew she did this intentionally because she didnt leave the receipt in order for me to check the change. I thought this was extremely disrespectful but again, kept my mouth shut because I wasnt going to make a scene about a few cents. And even still tipped 20%, And didnt even get a thank you in return. I dont like to complain but I just want good service.

OMG where do I start? Horrible service!!! I ordered a pickup menu, came in when i was told, and waited 5 minutes for someone to say anything to me (lobby packed full of people on a sunday morning) and there was a bag sitting on the counter. finally a lady asks me if i need help i tell her about my order and ask is that my bag, she says, "idk, look in there and see"!!!! wow. So I look and it is indeed my food, minus some things. so I said im missing this, but can i pay for my food, she says she cant ring me up. took them another 5-10 minutes to find out who took the order. another lady asks me what was missing and shes going to make it fresh, thankyou... 5 minutes later she brings my grits but still no one can ring me up. another lady asks me if Im being helped i tell her im just trying to PAY for my food ive been here half an hour this is my food which is probably cold now can I give you the money? she cant ring me up either!!!! wtf. Long story short I was in there 40+ minutes just to pickup and pay for my food and the employees are so clueless youd swear they couldnt tell their a$$ from their face. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
