Very disappointed. My 2nd time there w friends from office. First off when you arrive and your sat in a table to the right all the servers walk past you and no acknowledgement of any kind, this was the 2nd time at same table. Maybe its in the Bermuda triangle. Few other tables get waited on before us and they were seated after us....15 min goes by and I had to stop a server hello is anyone going to wait on us. Then the taller guy seemed to have an attitude said Ill be rt there. 5 more min go by then finally come gets to our table to get drink orders. We were on lunch so this is already 20 min just to get drinks. 10 min later he returns and We all order bacon cheese burgers figured simple and quick and waited. Two came out but he said he forgot to punch the third. 55 min into lunch I finally received my burger and the other two office people were already done with theirs so they waited so I quickly ate mine. Hour and 20 plus total for lunch. Noone said any apologies beside the server said he didnt duplicate one of the orders and mine would be rt out. Felt like noone cared. We get back to the office and within an hour we are all sick within same time frame. Either the food wasnt Cooked to temperature or they cross contaminated the handling of other food. Called and asked for a manger that I had a complaint and was told they were busy and he would have them call back and its been over a week and a half and nothing. Very disappointed and not sure Ill give them my business again. No frills No Good. Thought a phone call would happen but since it didnt happen Ill post here for all to see.

Uggh:/ so disappointing!! We stopped here on our way home from vacation, 3 adults and 2 teens. We were the first people to arrive at 11am on a Saturday, and the place seemed really nice. We consider ourselves "foodies", and were excited to try the menu options. We ordered several appetizers, as well as meals, and were delighted by the plating of the food, and amazed by the portion sizes. We were quickly disappointed though. Our buffalo chicken tender app tasted off-almost like spicy dirt. The vegetarian nachos were massive, but greasy and tasteless, and the huge portion of ribs were simply nothing but fat. We moved on to the meals-bbq chicken sandwich, steak sub, and crab cakes. We were told the latter was "fantastic" by our server, but they were simply warm, tasteless white mush. There was no seasoning in any of our food-bland potatoes, bland and somehow crunchy mac and cheese, bland crab cakes, bland everything. Our server was friendly, but didnt attend to us properly-did not refill our drinks, did not ask about the food, just dropped it and left us until the check. Too many places to eat in the area to waste time and money here. They seem to focus more on the quantity of food then the quality. And crabcakes are NOT hard to make correctly. Never again.

We went last night for our once a month date night. It was our first time here and it was easy to find. The parking lot was very packed, and we were a little nervous of the wait walking up. There were a few families standing at the front, but we were told 5-10 min wait which was pretty accurate. We sat at the bar and got a drink and the table was ready before my husband finished his beer. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Husband got a cup of chili with cornbread to start and the meatloaf platter. I got the sesame shrimp salad and everything was delicious! If you are being calorie- conscious, I would swap the dressing for a lighter vinigarette, which I had planned to do, but the red dragon sauce was so delicious paired with the shrimp, that I just went with it. Like many others have said, they serve huge portions that are worth every penny, so we both packed up half our plates and had lunch for today. Looking forward to going back for Sunday brunch sometime.

Va Beach location- My first experience there was AMAZING, great vibe, waitress was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. I could not wait to share that experience again. Unfortunately, when I had the chance to go back I was surprisingly disappointed. The was not as great, food was still good but the workers were much more rude. My boyfriend and I arrived at 9.40, the restaurant was scheduled to close at 11. They began cleaning, putting tables up dismissing that we and a few others were there, felt super rushed, even met some mean glares. We wanted to be sure we werent there after hours or holding anyone up so we asked our waitress about their closing time. She told us they close when they want on slow days. Im usually extremely understanding but I would have appreciated to still have been treated with good customer service and not as a nuisance for my visit.

Looking at the outside I was expecting low quality food trying to look good. I was very impressed upon walking in. The environment was quiet, with low lighting and a sleek look made it seem very upscale. However I never felt underdressed. The staff each wore their own spin on the black uniform. Which I appreciated because I felt more welcomed. I was pleasantly surprised with the bright ingredients included in many of the dishes. I was intrigued with many different options. I chose the Asian Portobello salad. I was very impressed with the combination of flavors. One of the best and most unique salads I have had. My friend ordered a classic Caesar salad. The portion size was very big. However the flavor was lacking. She did not enjoy it. We received impeccable service and enjoyed our dinner.

From the moment we parked outside the restaurant l was shaking my head to bethanys comment. The outward face isnt attractive at all. Also after coming in. It was crowded and even loud, noisy... all that changed after our food arrived. I had burrito of crispy chicken with rice & black beans, and my girlfriend had pita wrapped chicken tenders with fries. Both dishes were extremely BIG. You could notice they were prepared by an expert. Only then I understood all other dinners were loud as they were happy and feeling at home... thè waiters were friendly in an informal clumsy way. Good atmosphere after all. Even though the 1st impression was misleading. Just Polish the facade a little and itll be a gem.

My husband and I love this place. Whenever his or my parents come up for a visit, we always end up here for lunch or dinner. However, I do like the Norfolk location a bit better because their food is somewhat different. But each location has its strong suits. The BBQ sandwich is better over at Norfolk, the quesadillas are better at the Hilltop location. It can get quite busy on the weekends for lunch and if you have a large party this one really cant accommodate you comfortably, since most of their tables are circular. Norfolk can accommodate large parties though. Either way, both locations are amazing and I will continue to eat here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Virginia Beach area. The menu is a good size and there are always specials. If youre dining with a group, there will be something to please anyone. I have been eating here for about 5 years and I have NEVER had even close to a bad experience. The food is always really good and the service is always pleasant and on time. On a busy weekend night you may have about a 20 minute wait to be seated but we rarely wait longer than that. This is our go-to place for a nice, relaxed dinner out with great food. We always know we will be happy at No Frill.
