NOT AN INVITING PLACE. Stopped in for lunch today (Saturday). Food was OK. Waitress was nice, but I had to go to the bar to get silverware and napkins after the food was delivered. Waitress (the only one) was more concerned with the large (6+) group of 20 somethings that seemed like friends, than with the other customers. 2 soap dispensers in the mens room, both empty. Took forever for a guy AND A GIRL (part of the group of friends) to come out of the single-person mens room after I tried the door. Wonder what was going on in there... There was only the 6+ group (not eating, just hanging out), 2 people at the bar, and my group of three, in the whole place. Only 5 paying customers. I can see why the place had so few customers on a weekend...

We visited the Stillwater on a Sunday evening while staying in Hampton. It was close to our hotel and the reviews were good. The place was basically empty. The staff was friendly, but the food was not that great... It wasnt bad, just really really average. My son ordered Coke, they were out of Coke... How do you run out of Coke? There were a couple other things like that... The lack of A/C was a very noticeable... We had a very present time at the Tavern, kids played pool & darts.... Im bet the place is a lot of fun on a Friday & Saturday night..

Always a great place to either just come in for A drink with some friends or to grab a bite to eat! Theyve always got something going on, be it love music, art workshops, pool & dart tournaments, and many other things. The staff is amazing and friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. I highly recommend this local spot to anyone, resident or tourist.

Great food and casual atmosphere. You can come in for dinner and receive full table service; get up to throw darts or shoot a game of pool and your table is still there waiting for you when you get done which is a bonus for an entire evening out. The addition of outside dining was brilliant!

Food is amazing and well priced. Great variety of beer on tap. Fully stocked bar. Well priced seafood. They have a great staff and very well rounded. I would definitely recommend this tavern for a meal or even late drinks.

Great food and cold beer. Staff is friendly and helpful. Craft beer on tap and reasonably priced. Ive paid a lot more for some craft beer brands at other local spots. Crab cakes are. In my opinion, the best in town.
