I think theregoesdave arrived on a really bad day or was looking for a Macdonalds (however, there are no franchise restaurants in rappahannock county). We stop there often (my son loves their fries) and I love their old-fashioned homemade milkshakes (fresh peach shakes the other day!!!). All food is made while you wait, nothing off a steam table. The food is good, the service friendly -- what you hope to find at a small, local hamburger stand.

Found this at the end of a week-long family roadtrip (Williamsburg, Jamestown, Monticello, Luray). We tried anything ice cream along the way. This was the drop dead best. Should have spent the whole week here eating ice cream along their little river out back.

For my two cents, this is what a roadside burger stand is all about. Great food, great prices and the locals dig it. No indoor dining. Its grab and go or enjoy your grub at the picnic tables overlooking a creek. Perfect.
