I cannot give this 0 stars so 1 will have to suffice. I went with my girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon last week. It was not very busy and there wasnt a large staff. However after we ordered our drinks after we were seated. It took about 40 minutes for us to even have our orders for food taken. Add into the fact that the table next to us smelled because it had not been cleaned since before we arrived. Then once we finally had our orders taken, we waited another half an hour before our food came. It was okay, but absolutely not worth the wait and easily the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Granted it may have been a bad day or whatever, but Waiting an over an hour for your order and food to come is insanity. So no I did not enjoy my experience here.

My family and I went to Golden Eagle tonight for dinner. We had a Fish Fry, Fish Sandwich and a Chicken Finger Souvlaki. The Fish Fry was small and had little meat in it. The fish Sandwich tasted so fishy I could not eat it. Didnt taste like the Fish Fry, the sandwich was fishy.. The Chicken in the Chicken Finger Souvlaki was so dried out it was not eaten. After telling the waitress and manager that this was out first time here and we were not happy, no attempt to accommodate us was made. This was our first and last time at this dive. No wonder there where only a few cars in the parking lot on Saturday Night.

This restaurant is very well maintained. Pretty much any time you go in there they are cleaning the restrooms and mopping sections of the floor. The place is large enough that it is not intrusive to your dining pleasure. They dont use harsh smelling chemicals either. If you clean on a regular basis, you dont need harsh chemicals! The food is always top notch fresh. THe owner is very congenial, and makes a round through the joint to say hello and thank his customers. I like this place for a fresh meal at a fair price!

Awful experience. Went with my boyfriend and he will eat anything and even he was disappointed. Ordered a turkey sandwich and asked for no mayonnaise because I really dont like it. Sandwich came with mayonnaise on it and was missing the tomatoes that were supposed to come on it. Boyfriend got chicken souvlaki and was underwhelmed by the entire dish. Said chicken was flavorless. Waitress also seemed to not care. The food did come very quickly. Did not care for the food at all. Will not be returning.

So sad that I have to give it a one star , we were seated given water 3 minutes later asked what drinks we wanted 5 minuntes finally got them. Waitress said she would be right back to take order .NEVER saw her again AFTER 20 minutes went to register and told cashier we would like to pay for our drinks . Saw our waitress stocking freezer so I guess customers do not come first here .will not be returning!

Best fish fry around and coleslaw that it out of this world is made at Golden Eagel,yes some time the wait seems slow,but thats because they are cooking the food,not popping it in a micawave. Alway clean,friendly,and the owner even takes the time to say Hi and even talk to the children as the little people they are.It is a Great Family place with food and smiles to serve.I would give them a 10.

Dont even bother!! Waitress walked by at least eight times and didnt even make eye contact. Not even to say she or someone else would be with us. Finally left and the owner was at the cash register and it didnt even phase him that people were walking out. Never been a big fan and this just put the nail in the coffin. Will not be returning. Ever.

This place sucks we got rushed to order because they didnt have enough menus for other people its the only restaurant that gives u an omelet without any patato and dont tell u I get a plate with my omelet and a slice of toast I ask about my home fries and they dont come with breakfast it is another 1.75$ on top of my 8$ breakfast

Nice clean restaurant, owner on site almost every day . Food is very good, hot and fresh. Employees are friendly and respectful . I actually have been in the kitchen and can attest to the fact that it is a clean restaurant. Rest rooms always clean and regularly monitored.

Hasnt been good since Perkins was here 15 years ago. Smells like propane regularly, food is very much run of the mill. My grandmother wouldnt eat her burger. One of four places in town to actually sit while you eat but for my money Id choose the Diner.

One of the best diners in Monroe County. The owner always goes the extra mile to make sure youre happy. The kids always love going, mostly because of the suckers and m&ms they get if they are well behaved. Highly recommend making this a weekly stop.

My husband and I eat here regularly. The food is good, the soups are homemade and always delicious. Service can be a little slow, especially if they are understaffed. If you want fast, go to McDonalds. Otherwise, this place is great.

Menus are old and outdated, often times they are under staffed. But I still like the comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The owner is a real nice guy, he often comes out and talks to each table. I like that.

Terrible - waited over 40 minutes for scrambled eggs and bacon. Waitress never checked in with us and people started to get served that sat after us. Ended up walking out w/no food.

Waited an hour and a half for our food and when we went to complain, the manager came out and yelled at US. Will never go back again, going to tell everyone I know about this too.
