Food is decent, atmosphere is nice, location is great. Service is absolutely excellent, when you can get it. The restaurant is evidently severely understaffed, per my discussion with the bartender/hostess/waitress for the entire other side of the restaurant. We waited for a good 10 minutes before I went on a hunt of the restaurant to find someone to seat us, then we waited another 10 minutes to let her finish up and come serve us. Once she did, food arrived quickly and was good. As there were only about 10 other people in three groups eating in the restaurant at the time, they might want to prioritize hiring as I would hate to see a good restaurant lose business over wait times for service. Will update ratings after I return.

There was 3 in our party. We received a $50 gift card and decided to try this place. We ordered fried mozzarella, a bacon cheese burger fries, burger with blue cheese fries and ruben with fries. Our bill came to just under $50. We went to use our gift card and was told we couldnt use the whole thing (only $25 at a time) then we were told we couldnt use it at all because our bill had to equal $50 in food (before tax). So wr ordered cheese cake. So, after that and the $11.86 tip that was added to our bill it came to over $66. We ended up paying $42. Thats right 2 burgers, ruben, 3 fries, mozzarella, and cheese cake plus the added tip came to over $66. Will NEVER eat here again!

This is a review of the Purcellville restaurant. We have always enjoyed the Winchester location. Unfortunately, the new Purcellville location is greatly lacking in qualify food and service. The service was poor and the food overcooked. We waited over 45 minutes for our meals. The manager admitted she has not been able to find competent wait staff and was less than professional herself in not offering any remedy to our sub-standard experience. If you can travel to I.J. Canns in Winchester to eat I recommend you do so, if not skip this restaurant and go to Magnolias instead.

I have been enjoying the food, service and atmosphere at IJ Canns since the day it opened. The prices are very reasonable and I have never left the restaurant without being completely satisfied with all they have to offer. If I want to impress someone with a wonderful experience, I take them to IJ Canns.

A bit pricey, unique dishes for the area, good service, and a fair atmostphere if there arent too many loud people seated near you. Would give it four stars, but they pack you in like tinned fish and the portions dont allow for left-overs if you are a tall, muscular man.

Aside from the food being PERFECT, Taylor, our waiter, was AMAZING! My boyfriend and I are in town from New York for a couple days and I J Canns was recommended to us. So happy they were! Will DEFINITELY be coming back next time were in town.

I have to say I didnt even know IJ Cans even existed. I went to an organizational meeting at the restaurant a few weeks ago and staff was very helpfully attentive in your needs. The food was very delicious, and the atmosphere was great!

We recently had a very nice lunch here on a snowy Saturday. as usual food was above average and service was attentive and professional. This is a superior option in Winchester as opposed to national chains with similar menu choices.
