My family and I visited this restaurant on Oct. 24th 2016 for an early lunch. We were heading up to Skyline drive for the day. Wed been to this Restaurant about 2 years ago and liked both the food and the people. Anyway, we were seated right away and the Ladies who waited on us were wonderful! They were sweet and funny and very attentive to what we wanted and what was going on around them. The restaurant is clean and very well taken care of. We absolutely love the food! My husband got a California steak burrito, I got a fried chicken chimichanga with beans, rice and trimmings. It was all delicious! They served chips with salsa dip and cole slaw as dips. Fresh crispy chips, my son demolished the salsa. The cole slaw was excellent too. Id never had cole slaw with tostito chips but it was really good! My son also loved his tacos and cheese quesadilla. He can be fussy about his food. He doesnt like lettuce so he usually asks for just beef and cheese but he and we forgot this time. He got his tacos and even though they had lettuce on them he ate them and thought they were absolutely terrific! I was in shocked disbelief! :) After we finished we headed out for Skyline. However, when we were coming back to head home, we again stopped there and enjoyed another wonderful dinner. Our waitress was a lovely woman with a great sense of humor. Wonderful Person! They were very surprised to see us...we had told them we would be back but I dont think they expected us the same day. They really made it fun and like family. As I was leaving the waitress was with a young girl who she called the "owner" who gave me a special treat to take home. She was very sweet. They made the whole dining experience the best! We live up near Frederick MD, 1 hour and some trip, and we are already planning to bring some friends down to go to their restaurant again! Definitely go here!!!!

Have dined here a few times and never felt compelled to write a review until now. Went here for lunch on 02/01 to what seemed like a mostly empty restaurant, with maybe four other tables. While we were greeted and seated promptly and our drinks brought out, our poor waiter was swamped when a few other tables showed up and he was running around trying to take care of them all. He sort of forgot about us (and my sour cream that I asked for on the side) once he brought the food out. I normally dont care about not getting the sour cream, but Jaliscos charges you extra so if Im paying extra for something, it better come out with my food. Of course it didnt, until I was finally able to catch his attention 15 minutes into our meal. The food itself is just average, with the salsa actually tasting more like marinara sauce with some cilantro thrown in (at least the coleslaw they bring out with the chips is good) and the beans rice being "meh". Our chicken entrees actually had bones in them...which I guess is nice and lets us know they cook their chicken until the bones fall off, but would be nice if someone would actually remove them before they get put into an entree. Our waiter didnt come back to offer us refills and it took forever for us to get his attention to bring us the check. But here is the kicker: there seemed to be a child in there (I heard one of the waitresses say it was her daughter) wearing an apron and taking orders. This girl looked no more than eight years old. Is that even legal? And we were seated in plain sight of the hallway leading to the kitchen and there were shady characters that kept walking in off the street and into the kitchen. Sorry, Jaliscos, but I wont be back.

Wont come back again. Salsa tasted like marinara sauce with cilantro and onion mixed in. Beans were a disguising orangey color. .. looked liked canned beans. Rice looked more like Chinese. Tortillas are not freshly hand made. Service sucks. My family were in the door first and they sit 2 other families before us. Brother asked for extra tortillas and so I asked for more also and she only comes back with one order. Save your money go some where else. People who say this is authentic clearly dont go out much to Mexican restaurants. I cook better than this. Coming from a Mexican American from Texas!

This was our first visit to the Front Royal area and the Jalisco Mexican Restaurant was definitely an awesome dining experience. Nice place with great food and margaritas! Tried the pork chili verde and it was fantastic! Chips, salsa and slaw on the table were great as well! Id definitely eat here again anytime Im in the area. I can honestly say it was the best Mexican meal Ive ever had.

I took my sister here for Cinco de Mayo lunch and we had the best experience. Our waiter was extremely nice and also very funny! When we came inside we were greeted by a sweet little girl who took us to our table. Our food was excellent, and I highly recommend trying something with their shredded chicken, like the burrito I ordered. Im definitely coming back sometime.

I haven t been to them all but this has to be one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Virginia. Ive found no others that compare outside Texas. The food is great, the service is outstanding and the atmospere is super. Parking is ample and access to the place is super easy. Couldnt ask for anything more. I drive 35 miles each way to eat here.

The food was okay.. Ive had better. The waitress was sweet and did a great job. She was new and very nervous, but did a wonderful job serving all of us and staying on top of everything. The margaritas were my favorite part and only $1.99 ea. that evening and they were a decent size as well. Id definitely go back for those.

Got the vegetarian faita. Good. However, no fajita seasoning, very bland. Only 1 dolop of sour cream for entire meal to go. Shouldve asked for extra aoye cream and server should ask also. With no faita seasoning I would not order this again. Otherwise, it has great potential.

The refried beans are orange and funny tasting. My wife ordered a vegatarion meal, so it was unedible. The rest of the meals were barely OK. Service was terrible. The waiter didnt charge us for any of the drinks, by accident, so I didnt bother to complain.

The refried beans were dayglow orange, and the "salsa" was simply a can of crushed tomato, no taste whatsoever. I haven frequented many authentic mexican retaurants and this is on my top three of not to return. Service was very good though.
