This was our third visit and it was not as good as the first visit. The onion rings seemed to have a different batter that made them chewy and not crunchy. The steamed shrimp, non wontons and the Haddock were very good. The waiter was not as attentive as I felt he should or could have been. Example: most of us ran out of drinks long before he came back to check on us. We were a quiet party of seven and not long after being seated, they sat a large party of two couples with about six (6) children near us. These kids were very loud and the parents paid no attention to them and they were aloud to run around. It was very disruptive to what I considered a fairly expensive meal. I was also bothered by the fact that the adults were all drinking and would have to drive home with the kids in the car. Beer at breweries can have as much as 40% alcohol by volume. Sad, given the number of people that die on our highways every year. Lastly, I ordered a bowl of beef stew for my entree and it was more like pea stew. The bowl was only about half full and must of had a full can of peas in it. There was one small piece of beef in it and the potatoes, etc. had cooked apart. There were a few pieces of mushrooms, more than the beef for sure, and I have never had beef stew with mushrooms in it. Wish I had known as I never would have ordered it. Dont think I will be back anytime soon.

My sister shauna and i do alot of day trips. Also we like to eat at local places. The wharf hill brewing company is a wonderful and unique place to dine. Also they have a variety of beers, beer on tap,and flavored beers. The menu has a variety of food and desserts to select from. The staff and managers are warm, friendly, and attentive. Also there is alot of history in the building that the restaurant is in. The decor has old medicine bottles filled with real flowers, old pictures hang on the wall, beautiful mirrors, and the bar is large and beautiful. Also our servers name is Kait. Such a friendly young lady, knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions about the food and beer. Also Kait told us a little about the history of the building, that the restaurant is housed in. My sister and i look forward to visiting smithfield again and eating at the wharf hill brewing company.

Restaurant first, craft beer second, brewery third. This is a true microbrewery. They have a few of their own, the most popular Isle of Wheat, but they sell out quick. That being said, the food is delicious, with a local twist on everyday favorites (country ham on my chicken sandwich, yes please!). They also have a constantly changing and expanding list of local beers on tap from other breweries. Chances are youll always be able to find something you havent had before. If you go for dinner, youll have to wait for a table, but youll be okay with that as you grab a beer in thr bar area. And order some crab balls while you wait, youll be happy that you did.

We were rudely denied service on Halloween when the manager claimed, falsely, that their restaurant stopped seating at 7:45, but the sign outside clearly said 8 pm. I didnt take a photo of the sign because I wouldnt have expected the owners to also call me and my friends liars. We have been loyal customers of this new establishment because the food and beer is really good and was one of the few places in town that we could enjoy a little relaxation on a weekend. Unfortunately, the incredibly rude service and subsequent accusations that we lied about the sign has skunked the beer, spoiled the food, and ensured that we wont be giving them any of our money again.

I Was very excited to return to my local pub, having been overseas for a while and was hoping it was still my favourite place to eat in Smithfield under new ownership. I was not disappointed, the food, the salmon was huge and seasoned well, hummus, veggies and pitta bread still one of my menu specials. Super great atmosphere, only caviat was the hostess, who annoyingly kept reminding us that we had to pay at the bar before entering the dining room. We actually stayed and ate at the bar all evening. Didnt spoil the experience, but ive never had my integrity challenged like that before.

AWFUL treatment. Horribly rude staff. Went in for my grandmothers birthday and they shoved us in a back room by ourselves that was dirty and clearly not cared for. When we asked to be in the main room the waiter said "ugh awesome". Very rude. Then he goes to check with his boss and comes back and says "it would be really more convenient for us if you stay back here" so we said we would go somewhere else. This rude kid goes "okay sweet!" Like we were a hassle?!? So rude and my grandmother had a ruined birthday. She was utterly disrespected. Do not visit if you value your family.

A family friend took us to Warfhill for a Saturday lunch and we were so glad they did! Our waitress Sara was very delightful, extremely attentive to our needs, and provided one of the best services I have received at a restaurant especially for it being rather busy and having a party of eight. The food is awesome and such a reasonable price! The seafood combination is what most of us ordered and it was wonderful along with some delicious fried green tomatoes! We definitely will make Warfhill a frequently visited restaurant when we are in Smithfield.

Waitress was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before their busy time, but they still had a hard time getting our orders right. The blackened chicken was great, the rice (when I finally got it) had a lot of uncooked pieces in it, I asked for no gravy but they put a bunch on my plate. I politely asked for it to be fixed and the waitress did her best. The kitchen was apparently having a bad day. My friends also had issues with their items. Overall, it was an okay experience. I will give ot a second chance....I did go on a Monday(haha).

This place is a must do! Great food, beer, mood, and staff. The non won tons are too die for, the changed the recipe a little but its still very good, the beer list is always changing, and the menu is very diverse. The only item I havent loved was the meat loaf, my wife didnt eat very much and the server asked how she liked it and my wife said she didnt care for it. When the bill came it wasnt on there! Great service every visit. Dont go expecting a fast meal, just go to have fun and try some good beers with friends and you will be set.

The atmosphere and service were excellent. The Crab Balls and Steamed Shrimp were wonderful, as was the complimentary corn bread. We tried both the Blackened and the Fried Tuna Bites. I liked the blackened tuna bites the best although the tuna was over cooked (dry) and the blackening was over done (it formed a hard crust around each bite). My Caesar Salad was very good, but freshly grated parmesan and homemade croutons would have added to my enjoyment. We plan to go back again but next time Ill order the tuna cooked medium.
