The atmosphere was nice, server was nice, Food was Hands Down the Worst food I have ever had dining out. The Artichoke spinach dip was bland, the pita rounds that came with it tasted like what I imagine the bottom of a fryer tastes like. I forgot the name of the entrée we ordered, but my husband and I both got it, a half order of -according to the description on the menu was garlic butter sautéed shrimp, scallops and crab, with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. We received a bowl with a watery broth containing 3 shrimp, 3 scallops (I only could stomach eating the first bite, it was soft, but my husband said his was rubbery), and a pinch of shredded crab meat. The broth it came in tasted like dish water, which made the shrimp taste the same. The mashed potatoes couldnt even stay on my fork they were so runny, and the vegetables were so overcooked they mushed before you could get them with a utensil. We spent $75 before the tip and I regret every hard earned penny. I dont mind spending money on great food, this was a tragedy. Unfortunately we were in a hurry and I did not speak to a manager regarding this to see if they could rectify it, but I am writing an email to them. (we had to pick up a car before the shop closed and had been there 30 min before we got our food) It has been 3 hrs since we ate, and my stomach is still contemplating returning the pieces I had. Update: manager emailed me back promptly, said he would gave taken care of it if he knew. (we were not offered any kind of incentive for returning, but at least he replied) Lesson for this eatery... Notify manager immediately if not satisfied.

I will begin with what I like about this place; the location, the food, the service. The menu is respectable and prices are reasonable. We got dessert when we visited and it was AMAZING. Very rarely do my wife and I eat dessert out. I think the location is great and food is good but I wanted something great, I feel like it was a bit lacking in some areas of our dishes. It couldve been an off day. Dessert is outstanding::Sides&main course are okay. The dining room was a bit dated (which is fine, it is part of the character) but I think its something with the carpet in there it may be time to replace it.

Very unoriginal menu, and the preparation of the boring food is just bad. Go the the brew pub just down the road. The food is so much better there. I gave two stars because the restaurant is beside water with nice views Added note-Just read the managers notes. Ive never been to your restaurant prior to this one visit, so theres no way Ive reviewed you before. Maybe its a different Sheryl Baker. If I somehow tagged Smithfield Station rather than Wharf Hill on a prior favorable review, Ill make sure to change that now. Thanks for the heads up.

I have never been disappointed with a meal at Smithfield Station restaurant. The Sunday brunch is wonderful with omelets made to order and freshly made waffles. And much more. A Station Burger and fries for lunch is what I tell all of my friends to get! Dinner selection is a tough choice because everything is great. She Crab soup. Spiced steam shrimp. The crab dip appetizer. Seafood is always well prepared and fresh. Excellent crab cakes. Bread pudding! I get some to go! Really, this is one of my favorite restaurants.

Dont be afraid to walk away if things dont look right. One night we had a fantastic meal with great service. The next night we walked into a restaurant nightmare. Sweaty teenage staff hung around as 5+ tables sat there with half eaten meals and dirty glasses. The food was cold and salty. The service was pretty bad too. Weirdest of all, the same bottle of wine was 2008 one night and 2011 the next. Terrible. Stick to the seafood to be safe.

Have been for lunch many times and really enjoyed it. Dinner is a different story. 3 tumes now we have had mediocre food. On the last visit I ordered Hawaiin steak. Pricey, but I thought it sounded good. The steak was overcooked, fatty and no flavor. They put a couple of pieces of pineapple on top. No.marinade. The asparagus was gross. Soggy and overlooked. The potato was dull and lumpy. Will not be back for dinner.

Terrific location on the Pagan River, fantastic VIEW! The food is varied and tasty, the drinks fun! The Pack family conceived and built this marina, hotel and the restaurant, and they make sure customer service is #1. You should see the fireworks there for July 4th!

Bar specials are great. Monday night cheeseburgers with fries are $5. Weds night fried or steamed shrimp are $.35 each with reasonably priced sides. If you go, our favorite waitress is Candace.
