I dont even know where to begin. Everything about our experience was impeccable. My fiance and I stumbled across Blue Sundays menu online and thought it sounded like a pretty good place to have our rehearsal dinner, right before the brief closing. We waited patiently for them to reopen and finally got to try them today for lunch. We got to sample a little of everything except dessert and every morsel was delicious. Their teriyaki sauce is quite possibly the best I have ever tried, all of the various meats we had were tender and flavorful, and the sushi was fresh and tasty. The Lion King roll was particularly phenomenal. Not only that, but the staff was all friendly and helpful. Our server (ETA: Steven was our servers name! Thanks, Steven!) happily answered all of our weird questions, made excellent recommendations, and flagged down the manager Ashe for us to talk about the rehearsal dinner. Ashe, for his part, took time out of his busy schedule to discuss some options with us and gave us contact info for us to talk more a little closer to the date. All in all, I could not be happier that Blue Sunday reopened and am so excited to become a regular customer.

Solid food and great atmosphere! This place deserves some more attention based on the seafood selection alone. Sadly, I dont eat seafood. But the crab salad my friend got looked amazing. I got the Chicken Pad Thai and a side salad (I wish the side salad were included since the similarly-priced General Tsos includes it) and I will say, more than a few pieces of my chicken were rubbery. The side salad was some iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a couple slices of cucumbers for $2.50 (which you can see here), and is overpriced in my opinion - skip it. A friend and I came together and we chatted as if we were at home. Taste was good, but nothing excellent, and service was excellent. Kudos to the guy that kept bringing me a refill!!!! For you, 10,000 stars!

I had the pleasure of meeting Sherwood Morgan a couple months ago. I applied for a job as a server and he called me back. Came in for an interview with him and from the first few words from his mouth I could tell he was a nice guy and was really passionate about about the restaurant that was about to open. He gave me his info and I was supposed to hear from him the following week or call him to touch base about the job. I ended up obtaining employment at another restaurant so I never spoke with him again. Very sad to hear the news about the death of him and the two co-owners. They hardly had a chance to get established. Very VERY sad. I pray somehow some way they will keep the doors open and dont shut down

We patronized this place while visiting family in Bowie. Our waitress Caroline was great! Very attentive. However, her co-workers left us feeling under-whelmed. The restaurant had maybe... Six other tables. So youd think theyd be fawning all over us. But the drinks took 27 min to arrive -yes we timed it. The appetizers took almost 40 min to arrive. The dinner arrived 10 min later. But the veggies were COLD; the Chilean sea bass was thinner than a piece of frozen tilapia; the asparagus dinner was missing the asparagus; the General Tso was sweet like honey..hmmm.....we wont spend our money with Blue Sunday again.

We went in earlier this week and we loved the place. The atmosphere was great, my kids really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. We had the Lion King and Volcano roll. We loved when the manager (Ashe) came to the table and lit the sauce on fire infront of us for the volcano roll. He also took the time to check up on a few times and brought all the different sauces to try out. Steven our server was amazing, he made great recommendations. We will definitely be back, this place is a local gem.

My co-workers and arrived ten minutes before open. The hostess, or whatever she was while looking down on her phone, said that opening time is at 12:30 and offered us a seat or some drinks. We were willing to wait but then she topped everything off by letting us know till after we decided to wait that the kitchen staff was expected to arrive later and the kitchen would not be opened till they arrived. Opening time should be listed as 1:00pm if this is the case.

So far appetizers are the worst that we ever had ... omg!!! Hope we didnt order the main meal!! The server is clueless, had to repeat order at least 4/5 times!! Guaranteed this place is not going to last ... crappy service topped with crappy food!! They have no clue what they are doing or serving!! Feel sorry for Bowie for not being able to attract food places here ... btw, if I could give this place 0, I would have! ! The food tastes like rubber !

I hope their business picks up because this gem of a place is fantastic! The prices are excellent, the food was delicious, the inside and outside ate visually appealing and the customer service from the serving staff was phenomenal - she came several times to ensure we were taken care of and even spoke with the owner who was just as friendly. As long as they keep it, they will have a customer for life!

We visited Blue Sunday today and I cannot give this establishment enough stars!!! The best Asian fusion food I have had in a long time. The flavors remind me of China Town in Washington D.C. when I was a little girl. The flavors are intense!!! We will be coming back most definitely! Kudos! Keep up the good work Leo Gao, you can do this!!!

This place sucks. Service was horrible food was horrible drinks even sucked. Sprite tasted water down and flat general tso chicken tasted like rubber fried rice tasted like burnt cheese from the bottom of a frying pan. I will never go back this place flat out sucks stay away

Menu selection is unique, trendy and the plates I had were delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and chic. The beer selection was above average but not amazing. It is a woek in progress though with rotating beers on tap. The customer service was very friendly.

Had sushi, chicken dish and spicy noodle dish. Food was pretty average for the price, nothing special. Almost empty on a Sunday afternoon, waitress forgot some of my otder and it didnt all come out together. Id give it another try but nothing mind blowing.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing and the food was great! Singapore noodles YUM! The portion sizes were perfect, not too large but definately not too small. We will 100% be coming back here again.

Service was slow during happy hour on a Tuesday evening when the place wasnt that full but the server was very nice and constantly checked on us. Had the seaweed salad ($6) and California roll ($4)on the happy hour special. They were ok.
