I just got of the phone with a friend who gave this restaurant rave reviews so I had to look it up. She said the food was great, "It was the best hamburger steak I ever had" and her server "Robin" was outstanding. Even though I havent been there yet, I see they are open until midnight Friday & Saturday. The Google site says 11:30 p.m. weekdays but their website says 10 p.m.? I will have to find out about that. The Middle Peninsula needs a restaurant that doesnt shut down so early every night. I just checked out the menu and the prices are great. I will definitely be in very soon!

My husband and I just ate here and we received outstanding service. The prices were very reasonable with our bill being just under $30 for an appetizer, two sandwiches and sweet tea. Thats cheaper than Applebees for really fresh (not frozen then microwaved ) food. The fried pickles were great and my island Philly was one of the best sandwiches that I have ever had. My husbands burger which had fried pickles on it was lacking in flavor despite having really fresh ingredients, so we wouldnt recommend that. We will definitely be returning to try other entrees.

The food was well priced and service was excellent. Alissa was a great waitress and offered knowledgeable advice on the menu items. The atmosphere was exactly what you want out of a small town bar/eatery. The only recommendation I have would be to light up the exterior sign to highlight your business. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and will be returning in the future. Thanks Alissa for a great experience. The fried oysters were amazing!

I was Really disappointed. My $10 crab dip was a big helping of cheese wiz and a 1/3 cup of crab meat. My flounder dinner was good. My baked beans were warm pork and beans and the macaroni and cheese was pene pasta and cheese wiz. But in their defense I will say they were very busy. And I can understand running out of baked beams and mac and cheese. But Ill try again during the week.

Always an incredible experience! The food is so flavorable and you get huge portions at a great price. Joey is always a delight and makes the experience magical. He is very attentive and always goes out of his way to make your dining experience memorable. I gladly come all the way from Richmond just to get some of the Happy Oysters smokey goodness!

The Frield Shrimp was excellent with the Awesom sauce that my waiter recommended.The Hush Puppies,Onion Rings,& Hush Puppies were not up to the standard of the Fried Shrimp.I will try them again,maybe Ill try the Crab & Flounder next time or the Barbeque.The restraunt is very clean and the Service is excellent.

The service was terrible and the food was marginal. I had to wait while they made cocktail sauce to go with my shrimp. We had a party of eight and everyone had a problem with their food. We went on suggestion of a friend. We wont be back. Too many other good restaurants in the area.

We had a great Sunday afternoon late lunch. Fried Green tomatoes were my favorite item. We all enjoyed the raw oysters. The Shrimp po boy was pretty good, not great but good. Burrito got rave reviews as did the oyster po boy. Great onion rings and fries. I will be returning!

We were looking for a place to eat as a lot of places were closed on a Sunday and stumbled across this place. Nice atmosphere and the food was fantastic! We spoke with the owner and could tell he takes pride in his food and using fresh ingredients. We will be back.
