I thought the Selinsgrove Brewery was pretty nice. After reading Amy Gs reviewIdecided to go for myself. My original plan was to visit the Selinsgrove Speedway on a friday afternoon, but that didnt materialize. We finally made it up though. The food was pretty good, I had some samples of the beer, and a growler (4.00) of rootbeer (6.00). We also had spicy beef stew which was the weekly special, for about 6.00. The beers they had on tap were: Wilders Hefe Weizen, Kriek, Captain Selins Cream Ale, Summertime IPA, McNabbs Scottish Ale, Shade Mountain Oatmeal stout & White Horse Porter. It isfairly easy to find, just look for the destinctive sign, they have a nice patio and garden as you walk in. I also liked the fact that they had a shelf with games & books to keep our daughter happy. They also have merchandise for sale (shirts, hats, etc) Closed monday & tuesdays. Theres both on street parking and a private lot in the back. They accept cash & credit. Please bring your ID for alcoholic beverages.

Was brought here by friends in the area, who know I love a good beer. Selins Grove Brewing did not disappoint. I had their IPA, and it was delicious. Nice and hoppy, but not overly. Quite easy to drink. The food was also plentiful, and well prepared. Their warm pretzels with mustard are a must-have!! I ordered a wrap, and it was filled well and tasted great! The potato salad is also great!! Would definitely recommend stopping here if you happen to be in or around Selinsgrove and love good beer and food!

We called in and they do not take reservations. They told us the wait seemed to be about 20 minutes. We went over. We stood there in a very cramped tiny waiting area for 15 minutes. No one was even able to be flagged down to take our name to put us in line for the wait. Thats what they told us to do over the phone. Anyhow, it was really cramped and we were standing right over a table right next to the door. This food might be great, but they do not act like they want your business.

Awesome-looking rooms. Very small food selection for lunch--aside from appetizers, basically just sandwiches that were not good. The housemade bread was pale, dry, and underdone; tortilla wraps were the type you get in Subway; deli meats were OK. Potato chips were literally a small bag of Utz. Came with a Vlassic pickle slice. For $8-10 in central PA? I didnt get to try the beer. I want to try coming back for that and some of the more interesting menu side items.

Food is very good and it is such a quaint dining experience. Beautiful local brewery. Service is hit or miss. Out last server Ashley was great but we have had prior bad experiences with service. It can often be a long wait. Their stouts and porters are very good and they also offer great coffee on Nitro as well as their own root beer.

Quality beer and food. Unfortunately the place seems to be too popular - it can be very difficult to get a table or even the bartenders attention for a growler fill. They could certainly use some more seating and a couple more servers to handle the load. Overall though, usually worth the wait for some quality brews.

This place is fantastic. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is great and staff and patrons extremely friendly. There are a lot of chains in the area and I have been to them all. If you are looking for a new place to try you cant go wrong. I will be back for sure next time I am in the area!

Friendly, very fresh ingredients, accommodating when kitchen came short on ingredient for standard menu item. Fantastic ambience, ample parking (including ADA in the shade.) Could not be more perfect spring summer and fall outdoor offering surrounded by simple and relaxed yet well-kept garden.

Great food and beer. The pretzel bread for the sandwiches hits the spot. I am going to make this a regular stop on my ny to va trip. The muddydog brown was one of the creamiest and smoothest beers I have ever tasted. Im tempted to get a hotel in town so I can enjoy more of their beers.

This is a destination brewery. In other words an out of the way trip to just Selins Grove brewing is worth it. The 19th century setting is unique but the beer is ALWAYS great and the food never disappoints. A must trip for my out of state beer lover friends.

Simply put, some of the finest brewing on this planet. Product is comparable to any beer, any where. Friendly & knowledgeable staff provide great service & friendly smiles. Kitchen staff perform miracles in a shoebox kitchen. Selinsgroves finest establishment!

My happy place. Solstice dubbel and an orchard bird. Staff is awesome, atmosphere is unbeatable pub feel, drinks are delicious. My favorite pub Ive been to yet. Skip troegs and appalachian (both not far) and go here. Go get you some CRAFT beer, jabroni!

The Brew Pub is the restaurant to go to in Selinsgrove for some of the very best food and craft beer in Central PA. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the staff is pleasant and attentive, and the menu is full of flavor and variety.

The craft beer is easily the best in the area, and some of the most notable in the State. Unique dishes are quite good and all pair well with their beer. Very historic atmosphere set in the old Governor Snyder Mansion.

Amazing food and great craft beer. It can get very busy but its well worth the wait. Seeing is a premium so Id go on same non prime time unless you want to wait. A cool note you can have dogs at the outside seating.

Superior brewpub in the center of Pennsylvania. Typically 8 or so taps of good beer--rotating selection changes often. Some really outstanding beers here; check web site for current offerings.

A hidden gem. Reminiscent of a small European pub. Food is great. Beer is phenomenal. I have driven from Baltimore 4 times now with Selins Grove Brewing being my sole destination.

Worth checking out if youre in the area purely to experience the building. Solid beers. Food is good but leans towards "healthy" choices, no burgers here. Very nice and friendly.

Really great beer in a cool old house. Its definitely a good place to go get your growlers filled. Id skip the curry chicken salad, though - not much bang for your buck.

No grilled food! But what they have is amazing! Fresh, local food and a nice list of veggie options. Can be tough to get a table because it is so well-liked.

Good craft beer. Food is more of an organic type of menu, but VERY good. Try the spinach dip, amazing. Get there early, it has limited room...
