The food menu was uninspired and bland. My pizza was doughy. Our waitress would take one persons order then walk away as someone asked for a refill or something else mid sentence. This would normally not be a huge issue, but the place was not busy and it happened every single time she came to our table. At one point i grew tired of waiting for my drink I got up to look around for our waitress. She was nowhere to be found, nor was a single employee visible (including behind both bars!) for a good 5 minutes. I eventually found the staff chatting and texting in the kitchen area. This was by far the worst restaurant we visited during our time in DC. Why even two stars you might ask? It could always be worse :)

I was on my way to the Inauguration and stopped in the #UnionPub. Walked in and was greeted by a manager named of Ashley. Let me tell you she was very professional and I see why she was hired for this job. Amazing service!! After Ashley made sure i had the right seat of my choice to sit and relax, a lady named of Britney came to the rescue for my drink and food. Wow such service. I highly recomend this place whoever is stopping through. I will definetly come back here again thats for sure. If not one of my best experiences Ive had all day in @[110184922344060:Washington, District of Columbia] if i could give them 10 stars i would. Thank you Ashley and Britney!!!!

Went here for Quizzo on a Tuesday night. Has the appeal of a dive bar (not pretentious, feel like you could hang for as long as you like, not overpriced, get the sense youd be a regular right quick) without being a dive. Decent food from the frier, and even the healthier options (a black bean burger, for example) are tasty. Service can be spotty -- our server kept leaving after taking one persons order, leaving 4 to wait until he came back. Still, a pleasant place to spend some time and answer some trivia.

The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is where its at. Downside: I came here once and saw Alan West. Its also across the street from the heritage foundation, an organization built by super rich businessmen to pump out "policy" that makes them richer, but sounds good to the everyday person whos paying for it say theyll vote against their own best interest.

I call ahead and ask if theyre going to play a chicago sports team, say they are. Show up, and they refuse to play it when every screen is the same game. Food is not great. Their chicago hotdog is just horrid. For claiming to be a chicago bar, other than 1 jersey on the wall its hard to tell. 312 was flat. Wont be back.

I have been coming here since I first moved to DC from Chicago 7 years ago. It is the only place to watch Bears games and their mini corn dogs were amazing. Over the years their menu has gotten a bit more sophisticated but the atmosphere is still laid back and I enjoy coming here to watch football or have a tasty brunch.

I dont normally do these reviews, but anyone going here should expect to wait about 10 before anyone serves their table and then budget 30 minutes between stops from the server. Also be sure to keep your attention because Id you dont look alive Nd miss your server it could be a long while before any service comes back.

dismal burger and fries: patty overcooked and rubbery, cheese congealed and bacon tough. can one have more issues on a single plate? oh, yes, cold fries. my dining partner was handed a dirty print out of a beer list, i can perhaps understand a little beer staining at the end of the night but this was an early lunch.

This place had a wonderful selection of craft beer that I quite enjoyed. Beyond that, the waitstaff//bartenders were courteous and helpful. The food was all-American...burgers, sandwiches, and all types of fries, but had a nice selection for a nice, casual lunch. Also the beer was delicious, did I mention that?

The prices are not bad, but the service is unreliable and frequently turns over. The food is not great... Standard bar food that can be okay in a pinch, but there are better options for food nearby. Union pub can be good for watching a game on the weekend, but I would recommend other options for brunch or dinner

Great place to watch any IU game! A hub for anyone who is a Chicago Bears or Hoosier fan and enjoys great wings and decent beer specials. The outdoor patio is a cool place to hangout on when the weather is nice. I cant wait to come back to see all of the candy striped pants belonging to IU Hoosier fans!

I know, I know, alkis are everywhere. However, this is the bar where alcoholics typically gather on weeknights... And the bartenders just keep serving them. Also, there is a cop who is well known for his DUI record and, naturally, this bar is part of his beat.

chicken sliders were very good (but small as you might expect), and a portion of the profit was donated to a local charity. Drink specials -- eh... but the best deal is apparently a regular offering and right on the menu: Narragansett pounders for $4... what?!?!

Lucas, the bartender. Turned my music off that I PAID for because other people wanted their music played. Silly and unnecessary. Then lied about it afterwards, though we watched him do it and explained it to him how he did it but he wouldnt admit it.

Very good local draft beer selection AND house cocktail list! Hard to find both in one place! Wings and burgers and "fries" super hot, fresh and delicious. So glad this place was by our airbnb! Great place to relax after a day of walking around D.C.

I give this high marks particularly for their Tuesday-night trivia. Good personalities, decent prices, and lots of fun. Only real downside is they dont have happy hour discounts on food, and $6 for a plate of tater tots seems a little extreme.

Good place for hangout. Unfortunately we did not find the beer we were looking for, we had to stick to Stella at the end. We also had curly fries, which were good. Overall the ambience was more like European bars, which we liked the most.

We had a layover, and needed something more than a typical burger. The restaurant side had a pub feel. Nice selections of whiskey (not my thing) and craft beer (certainly my thing). Friendly staff and knowledgeable regarding the area.

Cheap happy hour specials and a great place to watch the game or the State of the Union, or just hang out after work, if you can get past the Chicago Bears memorabilia on the walls. More spacious than most DC bars, which is nice.

Good enough food when it goes down but boy does it repeat on you... Both me and the wife had that particular problem after lunch here. Very sure that you really should come here for watching whatever sports and getting smashed.

We come here in the fall to watch FSU games, more for the Seminole atmosphere than the food or drinks. The staff are obviously overwhelmed and its hard to actually get a table or place an order on a game day.

Decent beer selection and a dive bar atmosphere with plenty of big TVs and game-time specials. Service is just okay and there a better spots in the city, but pretty good sports bar choice for the neighborhood.
