Was excited to try this new place. Most GOOD sushi places dont give you much of a dining "experience" (when it comes to ambiance, happy hour, a bar, etc ) so ive been looking for a fun spot to enjoy some good sushi in richmond. Went on a wednesday night. love the ambiance, very trendy and modern but not annoying. server was prompt and cheerful, though she could have known a little more about the sushi and sashimi. Tuna app was perfect. Dynamite roll and angry dragon rolls were delicious! rock and roll was good but not our favorite. sashimi was super fresh and just divine, and nice big pieces! not a cheap place but happy hour drink prices. would definitely go back!

My initial impression with this place is positive, and I hope they continue to meet my expectations! I havent tried the food yet, but the atmosphere is just what Im looking for. I really like that the manager Sandy took the time to come over and learn my groups names, and checked in with us periodically through the night. A nice selection of drinks, and a very open feeling decor made my experience even better. I dont want to give away anything because it was such a fun surprise for me- but if its your first time, spend at least 5 mins at the bar and see if you can figure out whats so cool about it.

I go to Level relatively frequently and Ive never been disappointed. The appetizers and entrees are pretty unique with offerings such as Peking duck wraps and lamp lollipops. Also, on Wednesdays they have half off of all special rolls. The atmosphere is cool and hip with a light up bar, and the service is always incredible and pretty quick. Thursdays feature half off wine bottles and jazz later in the night. Im glad I live so close to Level and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for solid Asian cuisine and sushi, with good service, ambience , and an overall enjoyable experience.

So we had a birthday group here called a week in advance to make sure it would not be too much for them. We arrive to find the area not set up for a large group and had to rearrange the area to make it work. We arrived at 6:30 did not recieve food until around 8 after speaking to the manager we just got sorry and we will give you a discount and still almost 9pm and our party still did not have all of their food. The waitress we the best part she tried her best to make us happy with what she could do.

(Actually rating 2.5) Um, maybe Im a sushi snob but this place was just okay. Sashimi was definitely not the freshest fish Ive had. The tuna had a vey frozen strange texture and the mackerel was very tough. For appetizers we had the ahi tuna chips (so so), and the tofu pockets (good, but very dense and heavy), seaweed salad (very good but thats not hard) and a Kani salad (

The Sushi was ok I totally have had better, the scenery is whats distracts you from the half ass rolls... Now what did make me put my foot in my mouth was the orange chicken my girlfriend order. I kept sampling from her plate those were great... Would I go back? Yes definitely had a great lounge and FULL BAR.. FlyGuy....

Loved this restaurant! Our waitress was so nice and the sushi was delicious. I had a miso soup, a salad and the veggie sushi. I loved the sweet potato sushi as well as the vegan roll. The sweet tea was delightful. Traveling from Montreal on Christmas Eve I was lucky to find a delicious sushi place in Richmond. 10/10

Sushi for Sushi Lovers The front facade looks a little rough, but dont be fooled. Inside is exquisitely appointed and the touch-sensitive light up bar surface will delight all first time guests. But Levels real strength is its sushi. You cant go wrong.

Relaxed contemporary atmosphere. Unfortunately limited parking but dont let that keep you from coming here. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean.
