My kids and I were walking around downtown Fredericksburg last weekend. Two friendly staff members from Jays were outside, and said they had a special going on that day, kids eat for free. We decided to go ahead and have lunch. We got our drinks and placed our order, and waited.. and waited ... and waited. Needless to say, we got our food about 45 minuted later. Our appetizer (bacon cheese fries) was cold.. Instead of my daughter getting a cheeseburger, she got the same thing her baby brother got, chicken tenders. And we never ONCE got any refills on our drinks. Got the check, and only one kids meal was taken off. I heard good comments about the establishment, but I was not impressed at all!! Good luck, Jays!

Security scans drivers license without asking permission. I asked how long they store information and he said forever. I asked to see Manger and he said he was in the back. I asked him to please get him. He said he would not. Terrible wait staff as well. Our food was delivered in about 40 minutes without our side dishes. Side dishes came out after almost an hour and a half. No exaggeration, one of the worst food experiences ever.

Went here for some late night drinks. Not really my type of scene but enjoyed playing some pool and hanging out. The bar is huge but during primetime you are going to have to push yourself through about a dozen people standing around the bar to get drinks. I will say the bartenders were pretty good about spotting you making your way to the bar.

Its always crowded which isnt a bad thing. But as someone who only comes on the weekends to get beer and much rather enjoys the smaller bars Id why it isnt perfect. Plenty of room (not at the bar) and couldnt sat about food. Come on a week day.

Great atmosphere, great staff. The food isnt great but I dont mind since I go here for the drinks and the great bartenders! They have a $6 steak special that I tried and it wasnt horrible. The bar bites are ok too and priced accordingly.

Good beer selection, Good liquor selection, staff is excellent, and food is decent..... although I dont think 4 shrimp equate to a half pound, but maybe thats just me. I recommend the hummus though, very good.

Ive lived here for 6 years and this place disappoints every single time. I wish I could say something good about it, the facilities are in decent shape but the service is really really terrible. Good luck to you Jays

Awsome service, Anthony usually takes care of us. Tonight I was Wearing a tank top and cant get in. Stupid. Its summer time and Im not a crack dealer...I used to go in all the time but wont be anymore thanks.

Typical bar type place not a lot of craft beer but regular beers youd expect to find in a bar, bar food and they have some games such as CAH and Jenga to pass the time.
